Enjoyed walk to town, library & beach location. Parking is an issue w not enough spaces for number of units. Husband needs a cane for walking so parking off site makes things difficult. Communication w host prior to checkin was not good w a simple request to cancel one week dragged on and on.

This unit is in serious need of updates. The front door mat is worn with age, oven door blocks a kitchen drawer, ice maker doesn't work, and a toilet handle is loose (reported but not repaired). Storage space is inadequate. Cabinets are completely full of items of little or no use to people on vacation for a week or even a month -- food processor, blender, hand mixer, waffle maker (still in box) crock pot, and various odds and ends - dishes, cups, and plastic glasses, etc. - that look like remnants from a rummage sale. Bedding and bed pillows are stored in the bedroom dressers and closets where visitor clothing should go. All this was communicated to the owner who replied that the unit is for sale, and they are not interested in committing money to improve it, content to let new owners deal with the problems. The unit is on the second floor so renters must be willing and able to haul belongings up and down the stairs. The building itself is well maintained and in better shape than it was a few years ago when fruit from date palms (now removed) littered the patio attracting rats. Patio is now a pleasant place to spend an afternoon enjoying the sun. Parking is and always will be a problem, 13 units, 9 parking spots, first come, first served. Overflow parking on the pay-as-you-go street. Main reason to stay here is location - short walk to beach and restaurants. The price is steep. Worth it? Maybe. Depends on unit, not this one. This condo rates a 2. Location bumps it a 3.

Clean throughout - inside and out. Furnishings in great shape -- drawers pulled easily, plenty of hangers, doors solid, A/C worked fine as did overhead fans, beach chairs in great shape. However, windows were in an outside corridor so no views -- dark & gloomy inside despite light, neutral decor and furnishings (minimal Florida-kitschy themes); building wasn't designed for views! Half of venetian blind-slat-turners were broken (though opening would reveal interior to anyone walking by!). Hot water took forever and then wasn't very hot. Crowded for four senior-age adults. Local agent unresponsive before trip, and not genuinely welcoming. I had no inclination to contact her for information; maybe that's what Naples has become. No instructions for TV, Nespresso. Limited food storage; plates & utensils new and "above average" feel and appearance. Two-block walk to beach. Sad to provide this unpleasant review.

This was the perfect rental for my dad. Close to restaurants and beach. Could not ask for more.

We had a small mix up upon arrival. Ana was on it asap and was very accommodating. She even dropped off a bottle of wine with a nice card afterward. Location can't be beat with close proximity to beach, restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay there again.

My family has stayed at this condo for our spring break two years in a row. The location just can’t be beat, with both the beach and shopping/restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Ana is the most helpful and responsive host that we have worked with in our many years of renting on Vrbo. Excellent value for Old Naples in high season.
