This is a very cute and well maintained older bungalow with lots of fun Beach décor. There's a quite large and cheerful master bedroom on the main floor adjacent to the home's roomy and clean bathroom. We enjoyed the private yard with new grill and beautifully maintained lawn and garden. Easy walk to town for shops and restaurants. The location is great! Our host Kirk ensured our enjoyment with helpful suggestions on town activities. Check in and out were a breeze. My family and I are hoping for a return next summer to his Boardwalk Bungalow!

Such a cute & cozy house with lots of natural light and a lovely back yard. Kirk is the best host ever! Checked in on us and always available for a recommendation. We so appreciated all the little touches from the candy dishes, fresh flowers, cozy lights in the yard to coupons for free ice cream. Had a wonderful vist in Grand Haven. Great shopping, restaurants and the Musical Fountain is a must-see. We highly recommend a stay at the "Boardwalk Bungalow".

Communication with the property owner before, during, and after our stay was extraordinary, he was incredibly responsive and kind. The house had all the amenities we needed; there were plenty of towels and the beds were clean and very comfortable. We did not cook during our visit but I noticed many pots and pans available. The house location is very walkable to restaurants, ice cream, minigolf, and the musical fountain. The garage, although smelling very strongly of gasoline, was a great place to keep our bikes and beach toys. The shower floor is extremely creaky when you move around but the bathroom is huge and we appreciated having laundry included. Overall it’s a great option when staying in GH.

Kirk, the owner, was the best communicator. He was very friendly and extremely accommodating. He checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were having a good time and if we needed anything. 10/10 would stay at one of his properties again!

The location was perfect for Grand Haven or Hoffmaster St. Park beaches. House was great for our family of 5. Kirk was the best host we've had in our 24 years of vacationing in Grand Haven! Super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The house was clean and cozy. It is in close proximity to downtown but in a quieter area. It was just a block from our favorite restaurant, the Paisley Pig. Kirk was so helpful and friendly with recommendations also. We fell in love with this little town and cannot wait to return.

I can't say enough positives about this house and our host!! We absolutely loved everything! Kirk checked on us frequently and made sure everything was as we expected. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of great details. The yard was beautiful and well maintained. The only thing we'd have done differently is to stay longer! The location is a few blocks from shops or a very easy bike ride to the beach and pier. It's in a super quiet, walkable, and beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommend!

This property was just what we needed for our vacation. The location was perfect for walks to the beach, downtown, and the Farmer's market. The backyard patio was the perfect spot for relaxing meals. The house had everything we needed. Kirk was an amazing host, quick to respond with suggestions for restaurants or local businesses to support. (I have been renting VRBOs for years and he is far and away the best host I haver ever experienced!)

The property was clean neat and attractively decorated. Our host Kirk had it well well stocked with the necessities. We were able to check in earlier than originally planned which was great. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We were in close driving distance to the waterfront and the downtown shops. It is a nice long walk from the rental to downtown.

We enjoyed our stay at Kirk's property in Grand Haven for an extended weekend and thought the location was perfect to walk to Downtown along the bay. Kirk left a really nice note for us before arrival which was a pleasant surprise, and his place was very clean! We had fun playing cornhole in the backyard and felt comfortable inside with the climate control. Thanks again Kirk!

This property was very clean and well equipped. Perfect for a family with a king bed downstairs and three semi private rooms up stairs. Very well stocked kitchen and thoughtful touches including a personal welcome sign and candy Best of all, location. Three short blocks to the grand river boardwalk and an easy walk downtown plus easy access to the highways and bike paths. Kirk was very communicative, helpful and hospitable. We would definitely return.

Cute house, great location. Difficult to sleep on uber hard mattresses. Could use a wall mirror or two in upstairs bedrooms/loft as there is only one bathroom with pedestal sink and no vanity area. Loft window needs a blind or shade.

Good location. Walking distance to downtown (~12 minute walk). Host was very accommodating and provided recommendations throughout the trip. Great private backyard for spending time outside and grilling dinner. Pretty twinkle lights surround the fenced in yard for fun ambiance at night.

Kirk was an incredible host and made us feel that we could reach out to him for anything. We loved the house and our first stay in Grand Haven! We left our toddlers stuffed animal toy behind by accident, and Kirk promptly mailed it to us free of charge. I highly recommend Kirk and his place!

We were here over the 4th of July. Very busy time! The house was great, even better than the pictures, and the location was awesome too. Kirk was super responsive and friendly. We definitely recommend this place. The upstairs rooms are more separate than they appear. While they are not individual bedrooms, it does give more privacy than the pictures suggest.
