About this house rental
Located in Lake Lanier, this charming house for $397 per night is a great choice for your next trip. A cozy and special property that sits very close to Lake Lanier on quiet Taylor Creek. Enjoy expansive lake views from every room in this house including the dining screened porch and deck. The house is situated perfectly to capture spectacular sunsets reflecting off the water. Sleeping options include a Master with King, a 2nd bedroom with a Queen, and a large bunk room with 2 double beds and 2 twins that works for a couple but is perfect for kids. For activities you can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, reading on the dock, kayaking in our 3 kayaks (1 double and 2 single), grilling/smoking on a BGE or just enjoying the ever-changing lake vista from the dock, porch, deck or any room in the house. Bring your boat and tie up at our dock. This house was completely gutted and renovated in 2010 by the current owners. It includes an open-concept kitchen, family room and dining booth. It includes a wood-burning fireplace for cozy winter evenings and a fire pit by the lake for s'mores. It includes a large 32 by 32 covered dock with a generous seating area and chairs. The upper level of the dock is perfect for fireworks. Very secluded and quiet location down a short drive from the end of a street. Close to 2 grocery stores and outlet mall at Dawsonville. Only about 30 minutes from Alpharetta. Satellite TV. Stereo in house and on dock. Grill/smoker for your use. A truly special place that is new to the rental market as of Nov 2018.

The property was just beautiful the kids absolutely love fishing. It was a little hard for me to go up and down the stairs because I’m older and my husband is 83 and he couldn’t do the stairs down to the pier at all. I was just a little afraid to let him do that, but otherwise beautiful view, plenty of room never stayed at a property that was so stocked. It had everything that you need. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

We spent 6 days in early October at this lake house. Everything was clean and working well throughout our stay. We enjoyed the large screened in porch, green egg grill, spacious kitchen, and large dock with kayaks. I was able to dock my boat and wake up every morning to catch fish. The walk to dock was short and the views of the cove were nice. We have stayed at Lanier with other properties but this one we will visit again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your piece of paradise.

Our family and extended family loved our time at this cottage on a quiet cove on Lake Lanier. Some of our favorite things were kayaking, fishing, and making s'mores by the fire pit. Fantastic dock with gorgeous sunset views, great neighborhood for a walk, and the perfect screened porch and deck overlooking the lake. Well-equipped kitchen with huge island and tons of room in the basement. Colt was a great host, very hospitable, and answering questions on the fly. We would absolutely recommend this home for a family stay!

The cleaning fee for this property is way too high for a house this size. The Green Egg looked horrible, it had moss growing on grate and inside the lid. The fireplace had not been cleaned out at all. Dishes in dishwasher had not been unloaded. The furniture in main room is worn out and chair in master bedtoom was torn and nasty.
On the good side though, the views from lakeside rooms is awesome, the porch furniture is very nice and comfortable. The dock is also very nice.
The so called firepit is sad and has no chairs or anything around it to sit by and roast marshmallows.
Love the kitchen!
If cleaning fee was less and other things corrected would highly recommend.

Highly recommend! We had a very peaceful and wonderful time at this house in a quiet part of Lake Lanier. The house was very well stocked. If you forget or need anything, it's at the house! Beautiful views from the upper and lower dock. Also loved the huge screened in porch. Would love to rent this house again in the future.

The property is located on a small cove of a large, active lake. The cove and floating dock provide a quiet space with easy access to the larger lake if you want more boating activity. The house is well appointed with a great kitchen and screened-in poach. The owner is super responsive and even went out of his way to arranged to bring us more kayak paddles for our kids to use.

Great place on LL w a killer view. Sits as close to the lake as possible and is very relaxing. Cool to have a green egg to BBQ.

Beautiful cottage on the lake. Easy access to dock and managed to catch some bass for dinner. Colt is easily accessible and very nice! We will be back.

We rented this property for a weekend. The first night was a girls' night and the second was a night away for my husband and me. It was perfect. They've thought of everything, including all cooking items you may need (salt, olive oil, coffee, etc.) and had the most comfortable beds. The dock is truly amazing. Would absolutely stay again!

Awesome house with spectacular view! Easy walk to a fabulous 2 story dock. The house could easily accommodate a big family. All the amenities you could ask for. Had a great time, will definitely be back!
