Or why not stay home and cater for family and friends in the fully self contained kitchen and entertain in style with the outdoor alfresco seating up to 10 and dining room that is perfect for a large group. The Beach holiday home accommodates up to 8 people with 3 double sized rooms and master with en-suite and walk in robe. Bedding configuration is a master bedroom (ensuite) with king size bed, 2 rooms with queen size and 1 room with two king singles. A portable fold out cot is available. All bedrooms and living areas are air-conditioned. Furnished with sophistication and quality throughout with beautiful beach style feel and artwork to compliment the home. Air-conditioning providing comfort during the summer months, open patio doors to allow the sea breeze to flow through, and large windows letting in the natural light. The houses have equipped kitchens, weber BBQs, large outdoor dining areas, TVs in most rooms, board games, toys, quality linen and much more. The property has WIFI and Netflix in main lounge with a large 55" LCD TV. Child friendly: - crimsafe security screens on all upstairs and downstairs windows. - large bath - board games and toys - pram - cot - plastic kitchware So why not book a trip to Mackay and holiday in our home, make the most of what Mackay has to offer; Including the Blue Water Lagoon, many national parks, sporting events, the stunning beaches that we are surrounded by, theatre shows at the Mackay Entertainment Centre and the city heart of Mackay. 20 things to do while staying at the Beach Houses: 1. Take the kids to the beach - direct access. 2. Go fishing - pump yabbies on the beach and catch a whiting. 3. Visit the Mackay Harbour - patrolled beach and restaurants. 4. Witness the spectacular views at the historic Eimeo Pub. 5. Walk or cycle the Bluewater Trial and Botanical Gardens. 6. Swim at the Bluewater Lagoon on the Pioneer River, it's free. 7. See a platypus at Eungella National Park. 8. Find wallabies on the beach at Cape Hillsborough. 9. Go shopping at Canelands. 10. Take a charter boat to the Great Barrier Reef. 11. Go for a day trip to Keswick Island. 12. Go cable Skiing or visit the Aqua Fun Park on the lakes. 13. Relax and unwind on one of Mackay's 31 beaches. 14. Go bowling. 15. Watch a movie. 16. Visit Artspace. 17. Watch a play at the Entertainment & Convention Centre. 18. Visit Port of Hay Point Coal Terminal Lookout. 19. Go for a tour at the Sarina Sugar Shed. 20. Have lunch on the blue waters of the Pioneer River. We do require a security bond of $500 and is to be paid prior to your stay. A deposit of 25% is required to confirm/secure your booking, if you cancel your booking this amount is non refundable. The balance of your rental property is to be paid in full 4 weeks before your stay. Deposits and final payments can be made direct bank transfer. When payments have been made please email confirmation through with your surname and arrival date as a reference, when deposit is received you will be emailed with relevant information such as arrival/departure dates and times. Quality linen is supplied which includes fitted sheets, pillows, cases, bath towels, quilts and covers. A fee of $50p/s is a standard charge for bookings less than 5 nights. An exit cleaning fee of 115p/s is also a standard charge and the $500 security bond will be refunded after the exit clean pending no damages. We used this house to base overselves whilst we visited the Mackay region during the day. Great beach for walking so close. We would stay here again.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, the house was great and so was the location! Just a few things we would change such as:
- We had to purchase toilet paper during our stay. It would have been good to have extras stocked in the house to ensure we didn't have to do this.
- We had to buy our own washing machine detergent. Again, would recommend having a dedicated washing powder box for the house for guests to use.
- The dryer didn't work properly. The dryer constantly kept turning off and we found ourselves opening and closing it to get it to work.
Besides these three points everything else was fantastic! Our family really enjoyed staying in the house, cooking our own meals when we stayed in and enjoyed relaxing.

An excellent place for a family reunion- fantastic outdoor dining, huge master bedroom, close to the beach.

Communication was easy and the house was absolutely perfect for us. The street was quiet and lovely, the house was clean and modern, and the host was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating as well. Would happily stay here again. 5/5 stars and highly recommend!

Fantastic!
The Beach Holiday Home was fantastic and presented beautifully – it suited our groups needs perfectly. Plenty of room for everyone, very functional kitchen including heaps of utensils and cooking equipment, really comfortable beds and the welcome surprise of a Nespresso machine! Many thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

Exactly What We Hoped For
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beach Holiday Home. My wife, 18 month old son, and in-laws stayed here for the week leading up to my wife's delivery of our new baby. The house is very spacious and clean. It was perfect for my son and his grandparents to walk to the beach just a few minutes away (on a foot path).
The kitchen was very nicely equipped with appliances, dishes, and cutlery so cooking there was a breeze. The Weber grill was used often. The bedrooms were nice and had no issues with the beds. The only drawback I could mention would be the blinds as they still let a tremendous amount of light in around the edges, even when fully closed as the blind comes off the roll away from the window rather than toward the window (leaving a gap).
The living areas were great - a good TV and entertainment system made for good movies and the open floor plan worked well for my son to play in. There were toys and games there for him which he enjoyed.
The process of booking and the coordination of the transaction was very smooth and the staff were very helpful. We even left some items at the house so had to arrange to pick them up several weeks afterward and it was not a hassle at all. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

We loved it however the king size bed was extremely uncomfortable and we had absolutely no idea how to use the stove without any instructions. Other than that the place was great.

Perfect for large families
Beautiful home. 5 minute walk to beach. Gorgeous outdoor setting and BBQ. Extra televisions in 3 of the bedrooms. 2 bathrooms upstairs and extra toilet downstairs. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Plenty of room for 7 people to spread out. Would highly recommend.

This accommodation was fantastic and exactly what was required for our family holiday. Every aspect was covered to an excellent standard. It was as if we were in our own home. All needs were covered. Value for money when staying with a large group and for an extended stay is what this property delivered.
