About this house rental
Located in Sunnyside, this lovely house for $686 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Our little piece of paradise “Shore Thang”, is located on Front Beach Road directly across from the private, Sunnyside Beach! No need to take a car to the beach, as it is so close you can walk back to the house to refill your drink! The house is a three bedroom, two bath, 1150Sf home with a 300 Sf deck overlooking the beautiful emerald colors of the Gulf of Mexico. You can view amazing sunsets as well as fireworks from Pier Park, which is located only a couple of miles away. Also only about three miles away is the very scenic 30A. *Recent updates for 2023 include all new headboards and mattress in all the rooms. We have upgraded all the mattress to a hybrid memory foam, with a medium to plush comfort. We have also upgraded the bunkbed room to include a Full size bunk bed, vs the former smaller twin bunk bed. We have also purchased new a new living room set, expanding the seating with a couch and loveseat. Our home, recently renovated, including all stainless steel appliances including a full-size fridge, range, microwave, dishwasher, Built in Ice Maker and three zone wine/beverage fridge. Sherwin Williams paint colors and wood ceilings provide a warm and inviting beachy feeling. It is the perfect place to relax when winding down after a day at the beach! We have all new bedding including Simmons Memory foam hybrid mattresses in both the Master and Guest Bedroom. It also has all the features of home, including a coffee maker, blender, filtered water, filtered ice and a washer & dryer. This home has three full bedrooms (no bunk beds built into a hallway like some condos), with a King in the Master, Queen in the first guest room and a bunk bed (Twin over full) in the second guest room. It also has a pull out couch. With the open floor plan, you are never away from your guests while cooking dinner or fixing a quick lunch between beach trips. It also has a private, fully fenced and gated backyard with a gas grill that is available for you to use. We have free, wireless high speed internet (Comcast - 400MPS) available for your use. Our home does not have cable package, but we have RUKU TV's in the Livingroom and bedroom, with a Philo TV package. You can also use any of your current streaming apps. The home does come with a couple of toys for our guests including two paddle boards and two sea kayaks . These are available for our guests at no extra charge, all that is ask is you treat them as your own and put them back when finished. The home has two bathrooms, including a large walk in shower in the master and a full bathtub with detachable sprayer in the guest bedroom. We also have an outdoor shower (Hot and Cold water) to wash everything off after a day at the beach. The private backyard is fenced in with a small amount of grass perfect for dogs to enjoy. Location, Location, Location! No need to pack up the car to head to the beach. Use our provided beach cart and walk across the street. You are only a short drive to some of the best attractions Panama City Beach has to offer, but far enough away from the crowds and congestion. We are only a short drive to Thomas Donuts, Pier Park, Frank Brown Park, St. Andrews Bay, Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Water Color and Grayton Beach. One trip to Publix, only two miles way, and you are set for the week. We have a full-size, 26 cf French door fridge for you load up with all your goodies so you can make less trips! Our home is SMOKEFREE, WELL BEHAVED PETS ALLOWED, with no size or weight restrictions. While our home is pet friendly, we still fall under the rules of Bay County, so dogs are not allowed on the beach. We are about 4 miles from the dog beach at Pier park. Reservations not accepted for vacationing students or singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a legal guardian or parent during entire stay. Chaperoned groups are not accepted. Restrictions apply regarding number of people a parent or legal guardian may accompany.

Enjoyed our stay at the house. Great location, quiet neighborhood, not crowded. Decorated so cute and felt very welcoming. It accomodated our family of four. Super clean and had everything that we needed. Had a couple of minor things that needed attention and the owner took care of them immediately. Excellent communication. Would definitely stay here again.

We had the best time! We had never stayed on this end of PCB but absolutely loved it!! A super short walk to the private beach. Even during the week of July 4th it was never crowed!! One of the things we enjoyed the most was the ice machine… we filled our coolers everyday before heading to the beach and never had to make a trip to the store to buy ice!!! Stephen was a fantastic host! Would definitely recommend this home and can’t wait to come back!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!!!

Overall the rental is nice. The rental was clean on the inside however the outside area and deck needs to be updated. Being across the beach I am sure it is a never ending job of keeping the outside areas in good shape. The grill was almost inoperable and should be replaced. The backyard is small and needs to be landscaped. The rental came pretty much furnished with everything we needed. The ice maker and large refrigerator was a plus. The owner was very courteous and replied quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Thanks for your supporting first responders and letting us rent your property.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The beach was never crowded, we had plenty of parking, and we didn't have to wait on any elevators! What a completely wonderful way to spend the week! The walk to the beach is short and pleasant and traffic was never bad/heavy when trying to cross the road. The house was cute and clean. The ice maker was a wonderful suprise! We were able to load our coolers all week and never had to buy ice. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

What an incredible place for a family vacation. Amazing location right in front of a private beach. This house was extremely comfortable and clean and had every amenity you could possibly want. The beverage station with ice maker was perfect. We brought our blender so it was great to always have fresh filtered ice nuggets for our smoothies and coladas. Comfortable beds and living room and adorable beach-themed decor. The fenced yard was perfect for our pup and the dog beach was a close drive. The outdoor hot/cold shower was AMAZING and made it easy to wash off the beach before going back inside. Plus there is an extra hose if you just wanted to rinse your feet quickly. 10 minutes to the beautiful Rosemary Beach area or 10ish minutes to the bustling Panama City and dog beach, or just stay where you are and enjoy the quiet private beach and comfortable home away from home! Steve and Amanda, the owners, are amazing hosts. We can tell they love this house and now we do too!!

The sofa and chair was so dirty and smelt so bad, we have to cover it to even sit down. All the extras advertised were destroyed or in very bad condition. Location is great but we will not be back.

This property worked well for our family of four plus one fur baby. It is very convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and most of all the private beach. We did haa ad be the jelly fish come at the end of the week so having the kayaks to use was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Shore Thing is in a great location- in Sunnyside and directly across from the private beach access. The home is in excellent condition and has a modern kitchen. Well stocked with pots and pans, a working washer/dryer, and a great backyard with a gas grill and cornhole game. I highly recommend this home.

We really liked the convenience of the beach path right across the street, and the house was neat and tidy, with a great backyard for dogs. The large walk in master shower is a real bonus. Beach was quiet and not crowded at all. Easy driving to great restaurants in PCB and Rosemary.

Great time in Sunnyside!
My family (2 adults + 3 kids + dog) had a great vacation at this property. The bedrooms worked out perfectly for us, and the location was super convenient to the beach! The fenced in backyard was awesome for the dog, so we didn't have to always take her out on a leash. Also loved the front enclosed room to keep all the sandy stuff, and there was a ton of toys, chairs, cooler, cart, etc. for our use, so no need to bring our own. The open living area was nice too, with a large table and comfy sofa and chair. The primary bathroom large shower was awesome. Adding one additional comfy chair to the TV area is the only improvement I can think of. We will definitely plan to stay here again! Close to the crazy/fun of PCB, but nice and calm on this strip of beach. Close to good restaurants and grocery store.

Our stay at Sunnyside was excellent! The property owner was extremely helpful and responsive. The check in process was so smooth. The owner contacted us as soon as the property was clean and we were able to arrive early. The place was exactly as described. We enjoyed the open floor plan and kitchen. You could not beat the location and closeness to the beach!

No better location!
I would rate this property a 10, if I could, for location! There is no better location, in my opinion. The extremely short walk to the beach was absolutely perfect. There were very few people on the beach even during the best weather of each day. We never had to fight for a spot to set up. I rate this property a 4 overall because it was less clean than I would have liked. The main surfaces (countertops, showers, toilets, sinks, and bedsheets) were very clean. The bedsheets & towels smelled so clean. The kitchen cabinets & handles were pretty nasty with stickiness. I wiped them down with Clorox wipes when we got there. The floor seemed to be cleaned with something that didn’t have the right mixture of product because there was also a sticky residue left on it. The living room furniture can afford to be replaced. There were dirty spots and the couch smelled like it had been in there for many many years without being cleaned. I sprayed febreeze on it while we were there. The kitchen/cooking supplies can also use some revamping. And lastly, I believe adding a weather strip to the bottom of the front door would help tremendously with the a/c unit. We kept a towel against it the entire time we were there to help with moisture building up on the floor from the outside humidity.
The beach cart was a huge perk so we didn’t have to bring ours from home. There are lots of beach toys and chairs as well for use. The only thing that wasn’t available was a beach umbrella but that’s an easy buy from basically any store you go to. Overall, our week long family vacay was a success.

Perfect spot
We love Sunnyside and this house was perfect for our small group. You can’t beat the neighborhood beach with no condos. The house was comfortable and all things worked nicely. Great trip!

Wonderful location!!
This house is in a great location and easy access to the uncrowned beach!! One of the best amenities that is in this house is a built in ice maker! We NEVER ran out! I hope to stay again!

Fantastic Location!
My sister, myself and our 3 dogs had a wonderful stay here. We really appreciated the fenced in yard for the pups and the short walk to the beach with provided cart was very easy! We would most definitely stay here again. Thanks Stephen and Amanda for sharing your home with us and for being such responsive owners.

Awesome place and owner was Awesome!! Very quick to respond and extremely helpful! It’s very hard to find a place that allows pets. Especially pets the size of my dog which is around 100 pounds. They accepted him. Please keep in mind my dog is 100% housebroken and does not chew or get on furniture. So if your dog isn’t don’t ruin it for the rest of us!! Lol. We are already planning another trip as we enjoyed ourselves so much. Amazing access to private beach. We highly recommend to all.
