Situated in Sunnyside, this attractive condo for $465 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Families Welcome Minimum Age of Primary Renter Staying In Home: 25 Maximum 14 night rental - Sorry but no snowbirds Infused with the romance of legendary seafaring, this end unit at The Shores Townhomes sits right on the beach, affording you three levels (two living floors above your own garage) of surf and sand fun. WindShore has just undergone a major renovation, marrying vintage beach house charm with 21st century amenities. From the moment you walk up the stairs from your private garage, you’ll feel the beckoning call of the beach. The living room affords stunning views of surf, sand and emerald water, enticing you out onto the Main Deck and the salt-kissed sea air. When you force yourself back indoors to explore, you’ll find comfy leather furniture, a 50-inch TV with a smart Blu Ray/DVD player and free WiFi. The kitchen (or galley, as the crew of the clipper ship WindShore would insist) seats four at the granite breakfast bar and six at the dining table. It features new stainless appliances, including a glass-top range with warming feature, a refrigerator with ice maker, an ultra-quiet dishwasher, and a large microwave. And you’ll find enough cookware, dishes and glasses to easily accommodate every matey in your group. WindShore has three bedrooms and three full baths as well as a cozy bunkie and comfortably sleeps 8 in real beds. (WindShore’s captain would be horrified at the idea of a sofa bed.) The Captain’s Cabin, one floor up from the gathering spaces, boasts a luxurious king bed, a 40-inch TV with a smart Blu Ray/DVD player, and gorgeous views of the beach and Gulf from inside as well as from its own private deck. Be prepared to be pampered by the en suite bathroom with double sinks and custom oversized shower. The First Mate’s Cabin, on the same level as the Captain’s quarters, features a grandly comfortable queen bed, a 32-inch TV with smart Blu Ray/DVD player, an entire wall of closets (bring all the clothes you want!), and an en suite bathroom with a shower over the tub. The Second Mate’s Cabin is on the same floor as the gathering areas and features a luxurious king bed and a 40-inch TV with smart Blu Ray/DVD player. Its en suite bathroom, with a custom shower, can be also be accessed from the hallway. The Forecastle sleeps two in cozy berths (what landlubbers call ‘bunks’). What junior sailor wouldn’t be thrilled? The Main Deck, accessed from the living room, is the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning and cocktails at sunset, and to linger long after dark as the stars wink on overhead. There’s a table and chairs for outdoor dining, plus a little crow’s nest for two. The Captain’s Deck, accessed from the Captain’s Cabin, is a narrower version of the Main Deck, and a wonderful spot for watching moonlight spill across the sea. The beach is as close as the private set of stairs leading from the Main Deck down to the boardwalk that edges the dunes. Or take the indoor stairs from the living area down to your private garage and then out onto the boardwalk from there. (No huge parking structure to negotiate here!) After a day on the sand, stash your beach gear in the garage and then pop those wet towels in the brand-new front-loading washer and dryer located just inside the front door. The Shores Townhomes resort encompasses 1,000 feet of beachfront (making it one of the longest private beaches on Panama City Beach), so it doesn’t get crowded or noisy. And if that’s not enough, there’s a swimming pool onsite, too!

We had a great stay at the Shores Townhouse. 152 is all the way on the west end of the property. Just a note, the pool is all the way on the east end. Home was beautiful and spacious; nice to have a garage; clean and well-maintained.

Make sure you ask if the AC unit has been replaced or updated before you book! It was a nice property but by early afternoon the temperature in the unit was up to 78 degrees. The property management team was easy to communicate with and after 3 calls they sent a repairman who admitted it couldn’t be fixed without replacing the whole unit. Luckily he showed us how to reset the compressor which my husband had to do at least once per day throughout the rest of the week. They did bring some fans, but with temperatures in the upper 90’s they weren’t very helpful.

One of the nicest condos we’ve stayed at in Sunnyside. The beds were super comfortable. We had enough toilet paper etc that lasted the whole stay. Everything was clean and decor was nice and up to date.

We really enjoyed the house. It is clean and spacious. We wished there was more seating in the living room. For a house that sleeps 8 there is only seating for 5 in the living room. But that’s not a terrible problem when you’re at the beach.

Updated townhome, great balcony’s overlooking the beach. Comfortable accommodations with basics for cooking at home with pots, pans & cookware. Mgmt company very responsive & easy to communicate with. Great set up for adult couples each bedroom has a full bath. Wish the TV’s were SMART so we could stream… but good cable selection available. WiFi strong enough to support working remotely. Great location, far west side of PCB, only 10 minute drive to Rosemary. 25 minute drive to ECP airport. Grocery stores / CVS within a mile of the townhouse.

Better Than the Pictures
This is an awesome property! Better than expected. It’s right on the beach. Plenty of room and very nicely decorated! It’s been updated and has everything you need. The check in process was so easy. The experience was great and we will be back!!!

Location!
We have stayed in this unit for three years because of the location. It's on the beach and usually not busy. We had an issue with the air conditioner the first night (it was blowing hot air) but we couldn't get ahold of anyone once we checked in. I reset the breaker the next morning and the air became cold.
The only real sad thing was "June Grass" which is apparently " a thing" in Fl. It was the first time we have ever seen it and it's gross (to me). I don't like getting in the ocean with all that gross stuff, but there were a few days in the morning there wasn't any around our location.
Other than that, the unit it nice and the perfect location for our family with small children.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The inside of the townhome is very nice and has been nicely decorated and is comfortable. Most everything we needed was there. The outside of complex appears to be pretty old and weathered. The parking situation is less than ideal and nerve-wracking driving into. We weren't sure we would clear the ceiling and I'm sure there are some vehicles that can't. We were disappointed with the furnishings on the patio. Table was very uncomfortable and seats were very small. My 6'3 husband could barely fit in the chair. We weren't able to enjoy the patio at all. Access to the beach was great and wasn't overly crowded at all. The ice machine downstairs has a leak and the whole garage was soaked. No one notified us so I called about it. Maintenance told us to just turn it off. It was not fixed while we were there so we weren't able to use that for our coolers which would have been nice.

The place was beautiful we did run in to a couple of small problems. We did not have parking passes but were never asked for or needed but became an issue when we left. The upstairs room was locked. The wifi and password given was not correct. Other then this we absolutely loved this place. It was perfect

This is our first time renting through VRBO for the condo, but the rental was easy and handled very well by the rental company! We love the private beach area! The only very minor downside of the condo was there was no plastic dishware/drinkware. I know this may sound like an odd concern but being a larger condo advertised with families welcome, anyone that has kids knows that kids and glass don't mix. In prior condos we have stayed at there was always been a mix. But, by no means is this a dealbreaker for next time, we just need to prepare better.

This property was great for our family of 5. The location was perfect; you can't beat right on the beach. The public beach access next to the house is a non-issue; there was no noise and the community boardwalk is gated off from it. Our friends came to visit and have already booked the place for their next vacation!
