Situated in Grand Haven, this attractive house for $288 per night is a great choice for your next break. This home is decorated very nicely, lots of good light. Very kid friendly. You will feel right at home! Small private fenced back yard with grill/table and seating for 6. Three bedrooms; master with queen bed is large enough for portable crib and kids in sleeping bags. The other two bedrooms have a double bed in each. Fully equipped kitchen (sorry, no dishwasher) and dining room allows for cooking in if you want. Large living room and a family room with pullout sofa allows to sleep 8 comfortably. Linens include beach towels to lessen your packing needs, also lots of board games. The train track is right next to us. It comes through twice at night. Trains don't run during the day. There is always a jar of pennies at the house so the kids can place a penny on the tracks and look for it the next morning. The charming downtown of Grand Haven is a short, walkable 5 blocks away. Shopping, great restaurants, bars and activities for kids and adults. Chinook Pier is 4-5 where you can find the marina or take the boardwalk out to the lighthouse and beach. We really enjoy your house. This is our second visit. There are some maintenance items that should be addressed. The dishwasher does not work. The outdoor grill burners need to be replaced.

The house is spacious, clean and comfortable! We loved the upstairs bedroom and bath! The location was perfect for us! Wedding venue was 2 blocks away and downtown was about 5 blocks! We would stay again!

My multi-generational family and I loved our stay at this home during Coast Guard festival this year. It was nicely suited for my parents who stayed in the upstairs bedroom suite while myself, sister and nieces stayed downstairs. It has a small fenced in yard as well so convenient spot for my puggle to hang out in and for morning coffee. Close enough to walk to most restaurants, yet out of the busy district to have some quiet down time. Would stay here again if there's an opportunity.

Renee’s house was the perfect place for a Grand Haven visit. Very clean with a kitchen fully stocked to cook a big meal. Short walk to all of the best restaurants and shops. Very quiet and comfortable at night. Would happily rent again!

The house was perfect for our family. The kitchen had all we needed to cook some meals. Lots of stuff within walking distance. There is not central AC but it cooled off quickly and stayed a good temperature. Beds were all comfortable. Only one smaller tv but we didn’t need anything else. Lots of towels. An added bonus would have been a few bikes but we borrowed friends’ so that worked out. Definitely would recommend.

This place was exactly what we needed as my daughter hosted her soccer camp at GHHS. Kitchen was perfect, and a lot of space for us to spread out. I was able to comfortably work remotely a few of the days and the location was great! Only heard the train once the whole week…

Located just blocks from anything you need! 2 miles from the beach too! Pet friendly which was amazing for my dog. The owner was very nice. (if your pup is larger than the 50 lbs noted on the listing, just ask! My guy is 67 lbs) We enjoyed our stay and hope to book again in the future!

The location for my family was perfect! Head west 3 1/2 blocks and you are at Chinook Pier. I enjoyed walking my dog every morning while the rest of the family slept in! We explored every inch of the shopping district and a must for anyone staying is a trip to The Toasted Pickle Sandwich Shop! So good! The house had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well supplied for making meals and having a washer and dryer was great. Yes the train came through around 9am and then back again around 11am but it really didn’t disturb us at all. Renee is great and available when messaging her, which I appreciate. I gave this home 5 stars because I loved our stay there. The only suggestion I would give is to invest in a good mattress topper for each bed. For me and my family the beds were quite uncomfortable but I concede that as far as beds go everyone is different. Please don’t hesitate to rent out Renee’s home we were happy there for our vacation. Just don’t rent it when I want it again because I am sure I will be back! 😉

My husband and I were so happy to stay at this lovely and clean home. It is a short walk (approximately 5-6 blocks) to the downtown Grand Haven area. Although there is no central air, the ceiling fans and window units made the home very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower on the main floor was worth the rental fee. :-) It was great and we will definitely be back.

We had a nice time at Renee’s vacation home!) It was conveniently located in a friendly neighborhood, close enough to enjoy the downtown sites, but not too close to the heavy traffic. The house is just as described in pictures & write up. The kitchen was well stocked & we had everything we needed to make some great meals. We stayed four nights & only heard the train come through the morning we were leaving. Many great shops & restaurants to explore! We hope to return, in the near future!

We were so pleasantly surprised with the house! The house is very cute with great use of space. We spent our evenings in the front living room hanging out....such a welcoming and light room! The picture does not do it justice. Love how the bedrooms are so spread out for privacy and quiet. The backyard space was wonderful to have coffee in the morning. The house is about 4 blocks to the viewing area of the Musical fountain and same distance to downtown shopping and dining. Just a great spot! Renee was great to work with, too. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

This house was perfect for our five-person family. Everyone had plenty of space, and the location of the rooms made it possible for some to sleep in when others wanted to get up. Probably our favorite feature was the fenced in back patio, which allowed us to be outdoors and still enjoy some privacy. We could walk right downtown or to Chinook Pier, and easily get anywhere by driving as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Very tidy for an older home. Kid friendly. The cleaning lady needs to work harder under the couches! Dust bunnys from last year I'm sure. :(This was perfect for our visit, walked everywhere, will bring our bikes next year. :)
