Centrally located, Spruce Drive SW is just a short drive from the best of Knoxville. Market Square, Knoxville Convention Center, UT Campus and Cumberland Avenue, are all less than 10 minute drives. HOUSE DESCRIPTION ______________________________________ Get that much needed sleep with the privacy of your own bedroom along with ALL the comforts of home. 1st bedroom - Queen bed; 2nd bedroom - Bunk bed - (2) Double Beds; 3rd bedroom - Bunk Bed – Queen bed down & Single/Twin bed up then 2nd Single/Twin bed. Sleeps 10. The kitchen has a full size stove, refrigerator w/freezer and microwave. The kitchen is furnished down to the dishes, pots and pans. Coffee makers, traditional & Keurig, pots and pans, silverware and all the usual kitchen items are also present in the cabinets. If you find that you need something more in the kitchen, be certain to ask me, as I keep all kinds of ‘kitchen things’ available for guests convenience. WIFI is always included. TV’s are digital antenna. Bedrooms are fully furnished with dressers and a full size closet. Bathroom is spacious and private. The full size gathering room is furnished with a couch, chair, dining table, and TV. Awesome place too stay. Very clean and quiet area. Some buddies and I came for a UT football game and it was a perfect place to stay. Very close to Downtown and UT’s campus. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here while in town for my daughter's volleyball tournament. Everything went smoothly.It was clean, spacious, and very convenient to downtown. The price was reasonable too.

My short stay in this home has been terrific. Close to the main interstates to get around Knoxville well, and close to downtown for all the great dining and clubs at Market Square.

Initially, there was some confusion with the rental unit it information which was frustrating after a long day of driving but Sheila was able to place us in another unit on property for our stay. The second unit was as advertised. The rental property is close to the UT campus and convenient to the back and forth trips to move in my son at college.

Really enjoyed our stay. Condo was clean. Everything we needed was provided. Although, it seemed the thermostat was programmed and wouldn’t set to the temp we wanted and the master bedroom got hot at night. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Located close to downtown.

We love this property! It is the perfect size for our family to travel to see other family. This is our 2nd time here and we have had a great stay both times.

The house is a little old and could use some TLC. Doors are squeaky, bed is squeaky, dogs out back are loud and trains come through often. They could easily upgrade with nicer towels, more than 1 tide pod, etc.
We would stay again due to location but be aware if you are picky.

Acceptable if you spend little time there
This is a functional property if all you do is sleep there and then leave. Not a lot of room to be inside, pretty much nothing outside. Kitchen utensils were somewhat haphazardly there, not great for cooking main meals. The driveway is also etremely steep with gravel at the top. It is very easy to bottom out the car and then a little hard to pull in, don't lose momentum at the top.
Pros:
--Check-in is easy
--Parking is good
--Departure instructions are quite simple
--Outside is well lit at night
--Netflix on TV, which was nice because kids couldn't play outside
Cons:
--The neighborhood is not comfortable, not good for walks or letting kids play
--The easy-access lock did not include a deadbolt, which made us uneasy
--There was only one dishwashing tablet, so staying more than one night you need to buy more
--The beds were horribly, horribly squeaky. DO NOT choose this property if you have light sleepers. One of the bunk beds was too squeaky to use at all until someone realized it wasn't screwed together tightly enough, which he then fixed himself. The other beds are stuck the way they are.
--It seemed like some of the beds had not been touched in a very long time. While they did not look used, they looked neglected and dirty.
--The bathroom door was super hard to close. Hard enough that most of us did not even attempt to latch it.

Good Location
Everything is at reasonable distance. Good price for the amount of rooms and beds. My wife and kids very happy with their stay. Highly recommend over a hotel any day.

Knoxville VRBO
I must admit at first I was concerned about the property's location. There is an active train track across from the house. The train was very loud when we arrived. The neighbor's had chickens running around and a rooster that wouldn't stop crowing. With that being said, when we entered the house, I was pleasantly surprised. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our short stay. Once inside the train wasn't that loud and the sound of the rooster crowing became almost inaudible. In the end, it was a great stay.

ACCIDENTALLY booked this place a WEEK in advance for a funeral. Within 10 min of booking, I messaged the host apologizing about a double booking and requested a refund. To make a long story short I spent the next 5 days on the phone back and forth with Vrbo and my bank. The host not only BLOCKED MY PHONE NUMBER once she realized it was me calling and then proceeded to tell Vrbo she “does not want bothered with another call from anyone in regards to this reservation” She sent check in instructions the next day (WHO WANTS TO STAY SOMEWHERE THAT THE HOST HAS YOU BLOCKED?) and now it is an ongoing battle to try and recover my thousand+ refund from a woman who could careless that I was traveling to area for a child’s funeral. This duplex is located in THEE WORST part of Knoxville. You can throw a stone at the huge drug ridden corner store and it looks like your driving through a resident evil game surrounded by addicts. BEWARE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

This is a cute place to sleep with lots to do within a couple miles. We were there to spend time with family so it wasn’t necessary to have a big living space. We were traveling with our 7 children and the kids loved the options for beds. I feel like the bedrooms were bigger then the pictures show. If we were there for more meals we would have needed a bigger kitchen and living area for the size of our crew but for what we were doing it was perfect. There was plenty of towels and things we never needed to contact the owner for anything . They even made sure the steep driveway was clear after snow and freezing rain.

Home was nice but ours had a huge kitchen table that took up the whole kitchen. My only true complaint would be there is no inside lock for the door and with a toddler that can open a door it was worrisome. Though the house was nice the neighborhood around was not so much. It does sit across from a railroad track so hearing the train nightly was common as well as the neighborhood chickens running around.

Place was nasty, dishes in cabinets were dirty. Sheets weren’t cleaned bathtub full of hairs upon arrival. Located very to a train track. Train wakes you up at night. Not in a good neighborhood. Didn’t appear safe to allow the kids to play in the back yard. We left a day early.

We stayed here when we had planned a trip to Dollywood. The home was clean and had everything you could need in the kitchen. It was decorated very cute and the air conditioning was even left at a comfortable temperature so it was just like coming home. Sheila was very nice and easy to work with.
