We stayed here during the Denali part of our Alaskan vacation. The location is a good alternative to staying in Denali. Healy is about 15 minutes from the entrance to the park and is more quiet without all of the tourists and hotels. We even saw a mama and baby moose while driving down the street in the neighborhood. The house itself is small but worked for our family of five. It felt like you were in a tree house. We were always out exploring so we really weren’t there much except to sleep, but it had all the comforts of home and a full kitchen if you wanted to cook. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area!

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It is a bit north of Denali, but still convenient to access the park and surrounding activities. The furniture has been updated from what is shown in the listing, so it is better than advertised. Bonus: we encountered a mom & baby moose on the road just 2 minutes from the cabin.

We are a family of 4 with two teens. The Healy cabin was perfect for us. It was nice to have the loft for the teens and the bedroom for my husband and I. It was a huge bonus having the washer/dryer. The stairs up to the loft were fairly steep, so it wouldn't be good for people with mobility issues. We made our breakfasts and lunches there. The kitchen was stocked enough for that, but you might want to check out all of the kitchen supplies before making any huge meals. The location is very quiet and peaceful and it was nice to sit out on the deck. There are two other houses on the property, but we never came across the people who were staying in them. The cabin was a short drive to the closest market and only about 15 min to the park. The wi-fi was very spotty, which wasn't a big deal for us. It just wouldn't be ideal if you needed it for work. I would recommend this place to families, friends, couples.

This place worked well for the 5 of us. There were extra mattresses up in the loft. It is close to the park entrance and we were seeing wildlife (mama & baby moose) close to the house.

Great location near Denali
This was a great location, close enough to Denali, yet secluded enough for privacy from the big hotels. The house was perfect for our family of 5. The steps upstairs were steep, but fine for my teens. It was nice to have washer and dryer! We enjoyed a movie together on the big screen TV after a rainy hiking day!

We had a great stay in the Edelweiss Cabin. It’s was exactly as described on the site. We appreciated that the cabin was stocked with some essentials such as milk, cereal, etc. when we arrived. I would definitely recommend this cabin if you’re visiting Denali!!

We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights while we visited Denali Nat’l Park and the surrounding areas.
We had a bit of a struggle finding it( my fault) because I didn’t get the final directions saved and there was no cell service. Luckily, I did have an address but there are no street signs. We turned down the right road eventually and saw the name of the cabin so we were ok but still didn’t have the door code. Again, lucky for us the cleaning person was there and gave us the code. Just telling you this so you don’t make our same mistake!
Pros the cabin is somewhat secluded ( two other homes in area) but away from the touristy area.
Kitchen had everything we needed, including some basics like eggs, milk, yogurt, bread, salt, pepper and oil.
Bed was comfortable.
Bathroom had everything we needed as well. We only had 1 roll of TP but I messaged owner & he brought 2 more.
Cons:
The sofa which I had read in reviews was dirty and the owner said would be replaced was evidently never replaced. We used a sheet on it because it had lots of dirt and stains.
The sponge in kitchen sink was previously used so I washed it with our clothes and then threw it away when we left.
The deck was not swept off and very dirty when we arrived
The vent fan in bathroom had lots of dirt in it that needed cleaning.
The cabin is a nice place but needs a good cleaning in our opinion.
We would stay here again if the cons above were corrected.
