We loved this property. It was clean and attractive. The property manager was on point and attentive to any questions we had. We loved the balcony and the neighborhood. I'm pretty finicky about places I stay and this was very nice.

Beautiful place, great location
The space was really beautiful, clean and modern and centrally located in Florence. You are only a few streets from the Duomo and the David and about 10 minutes from the central train station. The street is very quiet at night and also right near a supermarket. The balcony was also a nice addition and overall it had everything our family needed for a great price.

Beautiful apartment in perfect location to visit all the sites. Gaia and Nico were very helpful
Rental process very quick and efficient. Gaia and Nico were very helpful Property exactly as advertised. Will certainly book again when we return to Florence and would recommend to friends

A very nice apartment. The location is great, (almost) everything you want to visit ais within a range of 10 minutes walking. Temperature of the shower is a bit instable and we experienced some difficulties with the water cooker (electricity went out when we tried to use it). Based on the advertisement we thought there was a garage, this is however a paid (expensive) garage around the corner. The airconditioning in the apartment is very good and nice. Everything was clean and neat. All together, we had a very pleasant stay. Communciation with gaia and nico is very well too.

We received a warm welcome and helpful advice and suggestions from Nicolo- very much appreciated! Don’t miss ”per’che no“ for gelato and the via dei Neri bars!
The apartment was beautiful and spacious, with everything you could need, and exactly as advertised.
The location was very central and convenient, and of course the Duomo is just down the road...
We had an excellent stay, and it was difficult to leave. We’d be back in a heartbeat.

This is a great place to stay for 6 people at most. The location is central. The place is clean and comfortable and the manager, Nico, was very attentive and a great resource for restaurants. Just be prepared to climb up and down lots of stairs.

Amazing Florence
Wonderful location! So close to everything. Apartment was very nice. It was nice to have space to spread out in! Warning, if you cannot climb stairs this isn’t the place for you as there are 3.5 levels of steep stairs. The terrace was beautiful and our weather cooperated! Beds are very comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your property! Would love to stay again. Actually, would love to move in!!!

An absolute dream
It is impossible to overstate how much my family and I loved this gorgeous apartment. From the moment we stepped into it, we were in love and never wanted to leave! It was everything we wanted - beautiful, spacious, clean, quiet, safe, close to everything, and with an incredible view of the Duomo. We loved that the apartment and building were so old and historic (the terra cotta floors are absolutely beautiful), and yet it also had every modern convenience we could’ve wanted, including WiFi and air-conditioning (with the temperature above 100F/38C, this was very much appreciated!). We slept well on the very comfortable beds and enjoyed spending early mornings and late nights relaxing on the terrace. Gaia was so lovely and accessible both before and during our stay, and check-in with the property manager was fantastic. He thought of everything we could possibly need to know and gave us very good recommendations for restaurants and outings. Our teenage sons loved this apartment so much that they wanted me to cancel our planned trips to Siena and Rome and just stay in Florence! They loved the city but they especially loved this penthouse. We’ve spent six weeks traveling throughout Europe staying in apartments, including some very nice ones, and this was far and away their favorite. Same for my husband and me. At the end of our magical week there, I actually cried when we had to pack up and leave - and my husband has already decided we must come back to Florence and stay in this exceptional apartment. Thank you, Gaia, for a beautiful and unforgettable week!

4 Fun Days in Florence
This property worked very well for our family of 5! It was spacious and well appointed, and having the terrace to sit on in the early mornings and later evenings was so nice.
It was nice having access to the clothes washer, but would caution anyone staying here not to run the air conditioning while doing laundry. The fuse will blow! We managed this by doing laundry early in the morning when it wasn't as hot, and that gave the day for clothes to dry on the terrace.
The location was great. Although close to the Duomo, it never felt overly crowded on the street below the apartment. We were able to walk every where easily.
The bathrooms are very small, so be prepared for that. My teenage boys had to open the shower to sit on the toilet in one bathroom!
There are some pretty steep stairs to climb to get to the apartment and no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, I wouldn't recommend this place. For all others, the steps made us feel we could work off the extra gelato we ate!
We stayed at 4 different vacation rentals during our trip, and this one was by far our favorite!

Wonderful apartment
This apartment is centrally located, clean and large enough for our family of six. The property manager was very helpful. Gaia was great at communicating beforehand. There are a lot of steps to get to the apartment, but once there it is very comfortable.

Fantastic place in Florence
Our family of five including three teens had a wonderful time at this apartment in Florence. The location could not have been better. The apartment was clean. The air conditioning was welcome. The stairs were not too bad. The owner and property manager were both responsive and nice. And we were close to all the sights. Great place to stay.

This is a charming, well located apartment. I will rate it a 5 star but the following two points held it back:
1) It’s on the top level of a 3 story house - each story is higher compare to the American standard. 82 larger-than-usual steps each way is tiring after touring around the city for a few days.
2) During weekend, the street below was used as a valet parking. With drunks screaming all the way until 4am. Caution for the light sleepers.
Otherwise the patio, spacious unit is a great place to come back from a long day in the streets of Florence.

Our family stayed here for a week while visiting our daughter who is studying in Florence for the semester. Nicolo was waiting for us when we arrived from the airport and was very helpful explaining the apartment and local shops and restaurants. Yes, the stairs are a beast, but so worth it when you get to the top. We used the balcony for wine and cheese every night, and the living area is nice and spacious. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment is quiet, with the bells from the Duomo to wake you in the morning, so cool! Gaia was very responsive to any requests, and was a joy to work with. The location cannot be beat, 10-15 minutes from everything. We did not want to leave, and will absolutely stay here again if we return to Florence.

This VRBO was perfect! It is right next to the Duomo with access to some great museums and cathedrals. Gaia and Nico were great! Would book again.

We had a wonderful time and the balcony area was worth the three flights of stairs! Great location and Nico was a terrifically informative contact person. Would stay again for sure!

The apartment is beautiful and spacious, filled with everything you could need for your stay. The balcony is huge and so peaceful! Gaia is a wonderful host and responds immediately to questions. We loved the neighborhood and only wish we could have had more time in Florence.

Our family of five felt pampered in Gaia's home, mere steps away from the Duomo.
This spacious apartment was simple and modern and yet rustic and ancient. Just the right mix. The four flights of stairs will wind you, but it is indeed a wonderfully cozy place to end your day. The Owner and the manager were both very responsive and helpful.
The amenities are all there. We loved this place!

Our family of three adults stayed in this lovely apartment in November. It is centrally located, historic yet with modern amenities, clean, comfortable, and spacious. The property manager, Nicolo, met us on time and offered local recommendations for restaurants off the beaten path. We would definitely stay here again which is the best recommendation possible.

Gaia and her property manager, Nicolo, were so helpful and kind! The apartment is in an amazing location - walking distance to all the markets, delicious restaurants and nightlife filled with talented musicians. The balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the cathedral bells and breathtaking views. My family and I had a lovely time and hope to return!

We did not want to leave! My family and I absolutely LOVED staying in Gaia's beautiful home. It is even better than the pictures and the location was perfect. The bathrooms are small, but beautifully redone. No lift, but we didn't mind at all; the stairs are how we were able to justify all of the gelato that we ate! We are looking forward to staying here again next time we visit Firenze!
