My family chose Homestead as a base to explore the Everglades, Big Cypress, and Biscayne National Parks. This location was amazing, and we (myself, spouse, our two elementary age daughters) had so much space to spread out. Vilma had everything we needed during our stay, we literally needed to bring only our clothes and food. I'm a planner, but we constantly marvelled at the little things: can opener, cutting board, spices and condiments, beach towels, extra linens, night lights, hydrogen peroxide, toiletries.
The beds were comfortable, the showers hot. The tiled floor and ceiling fans kept the house consistently cool, not humid. We appreciated knowing that we could reach our property managers immediately; having them on site made them accessible, but they respected our privacy, as well. Thank you, Vilma and Erasmo!

Our family of 4 stayed here for four nights while we explored the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. The house is very well stocked, we had everything we needed, and our kids enjoyed some of the toys that are in the house. The owner, Vilma, was very kind and helpful providing us lots of recommendations while we were there. We would love to stay here again!

Great spot, close to Everglades, the Keys, Miami & all its activities. Vilma is a warm, welcoming host with great tips on local attractions, places to eat & we loved the home baked muffins. A large home all on one level, with a huge yard for an outdoor bbq & sitting outside, ample parking for 2 cars & a fully stocked kitchen with condiments to cook up a storm for a large family. Cant recommend this place enough if you are looking to spend time in southern Florida. Loved our stay.

My husband and I came down to Florida with my parents. This house was perfect for us! My mom has troubles getting around now and the fact that this is all one floor with only one small step to get in was perfect for her. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was wonderful, each couple had their own bathroom. The extra bedroom meant that restless sleepers or snoring did not need to bother your partner.
The house itself was one of the cleanest and best stocked houses I have ever rented. It felt very warm and welcoming and had plenty of space if you wanted some time alone to decompress. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms came stocked with almost all the basics you will need. You will have to buy your own food but that is expected.
Velma did surprise us with some Muffins for our first breakfast and bottles of water, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. She had coolers we could use to pack a lunch for long days. The bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, body wash and most important toilet paper!
Velma was super friendly, welcoming and full of ideas without being overwhelming. She was very easy to get a hold of when needed also.
We drove to Key West, highly recommend, and checked out the Turtle hospital on the way. Airboat tour in the Everglades is a must (no motion-sickness, smoother than riding in a car). The Coral Castle was a hidden gem! Very interesting and unique. We did more but those were our favs!

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Biscayne and Everglades National Parks. Felt like we were “home”. Spotless, spacious and host was so accommodating and kind. Best stocked kitchen I have ever stayed in. Will definitely recommend to other friends visiting the area!

The house was lovely and we were so well taken care of. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and air b&bs in my life and never have I had such a pleasant experience. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable including setting up a pack and play for my baby to sleep in so I didn’t have to worry about bringing a travel bassinet or struggle to set it up myself. I didn’t feel like I was renting a home, I felt like I was a welcome guest in the home. I would happily stay here every time I visit Florida and I will highly suggest this location to my friends and family. These are wonderful people so, if you do stay here, show kindness and respect because they will treat you with that in the utmost.

This was a great location for us as we were attending a wedding close by at the Secret Gardens in Homestead. The home was lovely and spacious and the kitchen was very well stocked. Vilma, the hostess, had wonderful suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Another VRBO win!!

We had a fantastic stay at Vilma and Erasmo's vrbo. We were visiting Florida to celebrate our 25th anniversary together with our grown up children. The reception was generous .Vilma has even decorated the house because of our anniversary. The house feld like home. The location is perfect to visit Miami, Everglades, Key West, etc. Shiver's BBQ is really a must for every BBQ lover. We highly recommend Vilma and Erasmo's vrbo and will stay again when we're visiting Florida.

Our family loved this place. It is close to everything that they wanted to do and still away from the big city. Owner is wonderful and communication was great. There were plenty of room for our family to relax and be together. We enjoyed our stay and definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

The property was exactly as described. Vilma is an amazing host. She is kind, thoughtful, and was very accommodating. Our stay was short, we spent two days exploring the Everglades after spending 5 days in the Keys but it was perfect.Not being familiar with the area, she gave us some good tips on where to go and eat. The house was spotless and well stocked with all the amenities we could have asked for and then some! She also offered us some mangoes from the property which were amazing. I can't say enough good things about Vilma and this property. If we are ever back in this area we would definitely look to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Vilma and Erasmo’s vrbo. There were five of us. We each were able to have a bed to ourselves which is hard to find! We picked this vrbo because it was close The Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. It was highly recommended that we try out Shiver’s BBQ which we loved! There’s much more I could say about how we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the mangos and breakfast muffins. They were delicious!

This was by far the best home we have rented. It was extremely clean, had every toiletry we needed so we did not have to pack as much, and the owner was absolutely amazing! Our flights got messed up and we missed one whole day and she was so accommodating. Also before we got there i emailed her asking for suggestions of certain things we wanted to do and when we got there she had us a whole list of places with brochures that she recommended. i would rate this stay a 10 out of 10.

A full case of bottled water. A platter of blueberry muffins. Charcoal and lighter briquettes. All the toiletries you need.
Plenty of towels. There was even 2 coolers to use for day trips.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay while in Homestead!!! Vilma met us there when we arrived to show us around the house, all the ins and outs. The house was spacious, the beds and bedding were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. House is in a perfect location to Everglades, Biscayne, Robert Is Here, and Knaus Farms (for those of you there to explore) as well as in a very nice neighborhood. Vilma even made muffins for us to enjoy! Don’t look anywhere else.

I would highly recommend this house, we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and the host was very nice and helped us with anything we needed. Very fast with communication. The owner met us when we got there and gave us a quick walk through of the house and then went through some recommendations of where to eat and what to do all around Homestead and the Florida Keys. Very helpful!
She also said goodbye to us and to make sure everything was good and if we had any suggestions for her for the house.

From the beginning, we were welcomed and taken care of by Vilma and her beautiful property. House is super clean and beds are comfortable and I had a great sleep! Conveniently located near all the Florida city and Homestead sites. had a great tour and fun at fruit and spice park. I highly recommend this property.

Vilma was an excellent host ! Our flight was delayed 8hrs . We tried to contact the hotel we booked a couple months prior to let them know we would be there at 3am. We found out the hotel actually was closed ! We contacted Vilma to see if we could come a few hours early and she made the arrangements that we could . Prior guest were so kind they helped her clean to get it ready for our early arrival.

Wonderful hostess, Vilma, who was very helpful in recommending places to eat and things to do locally and throughout southern FL and the Keys. The home is very nice and central to the Everglades and Biscayne Key NP’s. The home was well stocked with all you might need to get your vacation started. And our hostess even gave us a cooler to use throughout the stay to take our food and drinks with us to the national parks. She topped it off by giving us a small cooler to take our leftover food with us to our next destination! I would highly recommend!

What a great place! You get the whole house - and it's a beauty! Nice patio in the back for morning coffee! The beds were comfy - and well laid out! House is beautifully decorated - and Vilma was sweet, kind and wonderful!! Even made us muffins for the morning that were delicious! Would definitely stay there again!

This is a very nice house that the host has EXTREMELY well stocked. Very nicely decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed our stay for day trips to Everglades and Big Cypress.
