Situated in Perdido Beach, this charming house for $171 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Osprey Cottage If you want to escape the crowds, elevators, traffic and noise you are sure to prefer and enjoy a memorable stay in our one bedroom, one bath beachfront cottage. Our modern waterfront guest cottage on Soldiers Creek is a perfect couple's retreat with magnificent views of the mouth of Soldiers Creek and Perdido Bay. This wonderful getaway provides great swimming with a sandy bottom and a beautiful pier with a small covered stall for a small skiff is available. Outside mooring for larger boats well designed for up to 30 foot boats. Weekly or monthly availability. Our nightly rate is $110 per night. Minimum stay is 5 nights. $20 per night charge for boat moorage due upon arrival. Osprey Cottage is secluded in Perdido Beach, Alabama, but only 20 minutes from all Gulf Beaches, national seashores, horrible traffic and the crowds and 15 minutes to outlet shopping, water and theme parks. This property is available year round. Our shared family pier is great for fishing, crabbing , watching dolphins, osprey, herons and an occasional bald eagle play and feed. It is a true nature lovers paradise. We provide a simple kayak and paddle boards for exploring and fishing. Nothing surpasses watching beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine. Wonderful relaxation awaits you on your next vacation! While you will prefer being outside at Perdido Beach, satellite TV and Wifi are available for work and rainy days. It is the perfect, quiet and romantic get away!

Amazing cottage right on the water. Really cozy and perfect for a couple. Close enough to visit perdido and orange beach, but far enough out to be tranquil and relaxing. It was our first visit but it won’t be our last!

The views were spectacular. The wildlife was amazing. We made friends with a Great Blue Heron who came to visit and nap by us on the dock every day. Of course he just wanted my shrimp and cut bait. We saw dolphins daily. Caught some fish on the dock. The cabin was decorated well and very comfortable with all the amenities one could ask for, including really good wifi speeds. The place was so peaceful and quiet that it fit the bill 100% for someone who wants privacy, nature and a relaxing time. Walter was a great host and makes sure his guests are pleased and comfortable with their stay. The bed was nice and firm, similar to expensive 5 star resort mattresses. That was a plus as I've had two neck surgeries in the past. My past injury did not bother me once! The wife and I will be coming back for sure! We were sad to leave.

Absolute paradise!!! The property is just as described and beyond. Owner is attentive and wonderful. In a few short minutes you can be anywhere you choose, but you will want to return to the tranquility of Osprey Cottage.

Property was exactly as described and was just beautiful. The home was so well stocked we could have not even brought anything but our clothing! The dolphin watching was a high point. They are right there at the pier. Pensacola, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Johnson Beach all about 30 mins from this quiet oasis. Worth it! Avoid the crowds and be welcomed by Walter and his family. You won’t be disappointed.

We loved this cottage and area. My daughter and I both wanted an out of the way spot to rest and reset, and this place was ideal. Close enough to get to area restaurants in Foley, Orange Beach, Pensacola or on the causeway leading to Mobile. We sunned on the dock and watched the boats. Next time I will bring my kayak and fishing gear although Walter and family would have helped with both we were just having too much fun. Will be back.

This property was exactly as advertised, and exactly what we wanted and needed ! From the lovely cottage, to the perfect dock with excellent fishing and view of the dolphins and osprey, and interaction with the owners family, it was all perfect. We cannot wait to stay there again !

Everything about this cabin exceeded expectations, even though we had already read the great reviews. The cabin was clean, spacious and comfortable and the location was perfect for us. Sitting on the deck or especially on the pier listening to and observing all the wildlife was a little piece of heaven. We loved it

We have just completed our 5th stay at the Osprey Cottage. Secluded, on Soldier Creek in southern Alabama the cottage is perfect for couples wanting a true getaway. The pier is perfect for swimming or fishing and sitting on the elevated porch on the front of the cottage is perfect for watching the birds(osprey, eagles, pelicans, and a variety of shore birds), dolfins are frequent visitors to the creek and you can watch a variety of watercraft go by. Lots of restaurants within 15-30 minutes! Walter and family are great hosts and very responsive to any need you may have from local knowledge to a great local meat market! It is truly our happy place! We will be back next year again.

It was our 4th visit to the cabin. It's a quiet location and we enjoy sitting on the deck watching the ospreys or hanging out down on the dock fishing or swimming. Comfy bed!

Walter and his property were great. The views were amazing, nature at it's finest. So many birds, etc. to watch. The pier is great. We hope to return one day soon. We've used other rental outlets in the past but this was our first VRBO and it couldn't have gone any better. It is a great property. The washer and dryer came in handy and the house had all the cooking utensils you'd need, etc.

Great little place off the beaten path. We came here for some rest and relaxation and got just what we needed. Walter was easy to work with when we needed to alter our plan due to unforeseen circumstances. I would highly recommend!

We had so much fun at this place. We spent most days on the beaches of Alabama and Florida. Fished the dock most nights and some in the morning.
It's a really nice and peaceful dock. We got 2 nice black drums off the dock. We did catch some redfish and trout but they were to small. We had a amazing and wonderful experience at this place.

7 nights of peaceful, relaxing enjoyment!! We had no agenda and it was perfect. Took our boat, which stayed at the boat house, out every day! We were able to catch crabs to boil for supper one night! Could not have asked for a better vacation or hosts!!
