Located in Santa Rosa, this charming house for $1,354 per night is a great option for your next break. Summary: Enjoy peace and quiet on this historic 50 acre ranch in the beautiful Bennett Valley. Property includes a newly renovated 4 bedroom/3 bath home with decks overlooking seasonal pond and surrounding wildlife, two historic barns and your own meadow. The Space: The home is perched on a hillside with 270 degree views and floor to ceiling windows in the common areas decorated in a modern, minimalist style. The hot tub on it's own dedicated deck is set at 103 degrees. Guest Access: The Van Keppel Ranch includes a seasonal pond with dock, acres of meadowland, heritage oak trees, three natural springs, access to Taylor Mountain Regional Park affording miles of hiking, and unobstructed views of the surrounding valley and Mt. Saint Helena to the north. Two historic barns are home to a family of barn owls. Deer and turkey roam the property. The Neighborhood: Van Keppel Ranch is located just outside the city limits of Santa Rosa which makes it both convenient and serene. You are 2 minutes from Bennett Valley Golf Course, 5 minutes from Whole Foods, 15 minutes from Graton Casino, 20 minutes from the town of Sonoma, 30 minutes from Calistoga, and only 1 hour drive from San Francisco. But you will feel miles away from everything. Getting Around: While there is no public transportation serving the property, guests will enjoy easy access to Hwy 101 to San Francisco and Bennett Valley Road connecting you to the rest of Sonoma. Other Things to Note: Extensive outdoor lighting makes the property come alive at night highlighting the barns and oak trees surrounding the house as well as the pathway leading to a dock overlooking the pond. There is a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom as well as a separate studio with ensuite bathroom in addition to the 2 bedrooms sharing one bath. The house is also equipped with central heating and air conditioning. However, please note that we limit the temperature settings using a Nest thermostat between 69-75 degrees. Interaction with Guests: Our team is available around the clock via phone/call/or text should you need any assistance. We do have local team members who can help on site if need be, and will do our best to accommodate.

Gorgeous property in Santa Rosa! Stayed here with 12 other girls for my sister's bachelorette party. It was truly the perfect place for our weekend! Beautiful views inside and out of the house, plenty of seating/beds. We had so much fun sitting on the deck by the fire pit each night. Would definitely recommend!

Pulling up to this property was such a lovely experience. The horses and turkeys were meandering around the grounds. The house is beautiful. Has great lighting and views. Loved the porch with the gas fireplace. Perfect spot for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. We had 9 in our party and we all had a comfortable place to sleep with plenty of bedding. The kitchenware was plentiful. The hot tub is a nice touch. Overall, I was very impressed with the property. Communication with the property manager was easy and the response was quick. Would definitely rent again.

The house was perfect for our group of 11 for a bachelorette weekend. The views were amazing, loved the wild turkeys. Had everything we needed for quick breakfasts and a short drive to many restaurants and vineyards. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the serene setting and lovely views. The fireplace, firepit and hot tub made our trip cozy. One suggestion for the living room is to mount the tv in a more central place if possible, instead of to one side of the room. Marvie was a fabulous host and responded promptly to all inquiries.

As anyone who has organized an event knows, the hardest thing when planning is communication between all party members. So, it was such a relief to work with this property when organizing my sister's bachelorette party. The property responded to all my messages within 10 minutes before and during our stay. Any issues that arose, were quickly addressed. They communicated when a service repair person was coming to the house, and had the property manager on site. There were plenty of towels, linens, and beds for the 12 adults staying at the house. The house was clean and all the directions were clear for check in/out. The view from all the windows set a very tranquil mood and the side deck was a perfect spot for our on site "paint and sip" provided by Painted Cellars Sonoma County. The bride to be was incredibly pleased and all of the guests hope to make this trip (at this house) an annual event.

Wonderful Stay at this beautiful property . We were visiting the are for a few days . This place was perfect for relaxation and also very conveniently located to come of the wineries . The property is very private but it also provides easy access to supermarket and restaurants within 1 mile which is very convenient.

It was the perfect property for our moms weekend away. The location was close to many amenities and restaurants yet felt very private. The furnishings and finishes were lovely as was the communication with our host, Marvie. Questions were quickly answered and overall they were pleasant communication exchanges. The communal spaces were well thought out, and the only thing (this is not a criticism against the property, more of a planning observation for large groups) was that the dining table was a bit of a squeeze for our group of 11 adults, we wouldn't have been able to fit the original size of our group at 14. This would have been a non issue if the weather had not impeded our use of the outdoor spaces. So many great memories were made here, thank you for letting us enjoy your property!

Surprised my wife and 12 other friends/family for her 30th birthday. The property had everything had to offer- beautiful views, common spaces, amenities (hot tub and fire pit), and enough space for all of us to get some rest in the evenings. Also, the location of the property was very convenient to Santa Rosa. We were able to get to Costco under 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend this property and its management team for any future group get together.

This property was perfect for our group to enjoy some quality time together. Spacious with lots of options for congregating and making meals together. The surrounding landscape was beautiful and convenient to groceries and necessities. --Even pizza delivery :) Highly recommend it!

We had an amazing time on this property. It was JUST isolated enough but also close enough to some amazing wineries and to grocery shops and everything else you would need. The barns and horses added such an amazing touch to the property and really felt like we flew across the pond rather than just driving over the bridge from San Francisco. The host was incredibly responsive and was available for some of our last minute needs (ie. dishwasher stopped working, refilling the hot tub, etc...) We had one dog with us and she loved the space and seeing the horses. (this is not a ding to the property at all, but please note that this is a pretty lush environment and therefore there are critters including ticks - just be wary and cautious!) Although the instructions were super clear, we didn't find the studio attached to the garage of the house until the morning after our first evening. It is a great private area and large bed, so wanted to highlight it's existence for future renters!

It accommodated our group very well. We wish we could have extended our stay to enjoy the beautiful property a little more. We had a hard time finding the 4th bedroom and 3rd bathroom at first but the prompt response from management put our mind at ease.

We just finished a wonderful 48 hour visit with friends and family in this clean, spacious, well-appointed home with incredible views of the surrounding scenery and good walking on sight and in nearby parks. The house was beautiful, well decorated and equipped for my sister's 40th birthday celebration. We had 6 people in our group and the beds/bathrooms accommodated us very well. Our family grouping of 13, including 6 children ranging in age from 3 to 10, enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The house was clean and well appointed and when it was brought to the attention of the property manager that some kitchen items were lacking, the situation was remedied in a very timely and responsive manner. The setting and surroundings were truly unique and the location of this property allows for wonderful excursions. Each and every member of my family voted this home as a definite repeat for next year's Thanksgiving gathering!!

The house was gorgeous and perfect for our group of 10! There was a pretty severe ant problem in a few of the rooms, but nothing that some ant spray couldn’t keep at bay for the short time we were there. Aside from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

5 girlfriends and I stayed at this house for 3 nights and did wine tours in Napa and Sonoma - the house is well-equipped and the property and beautiful. Very close to grocery store and Starbucks. The hot tub was hot, the firepit was cozy, and we had a wonderful stay! I would recommend this place again.

The property was awesome! The husbands would always be the last ones on the deck so we called it time for the "fireside chat". The location was perfect. The longest drive was to San Fran in a little over an hour. The host response to all of my questions was always very prompt Two bedrooms did not have a TV but, for me and this group, that kind of worked out. We packed a lot into the days, so coming "home" to this property was exactly what we needed to wind down. I'd like to go back.

The pictures don't do justice to the views of this property! My group had an issue with one of the toilets and Bruce had a plumber at the property within a couple of hours to have it fixed. We had a wonderful experience overall!

I'd like to start by saying, this property is beautiful, the house is beautiful, and the owner was very responsive throughout our stay and after our stay which is appreciated. Unfortunately, there was a PG&E outage that affected our stay. There was no running water, couldn't use the toilets, no electricity, no A/C, for 12 hours (6:30AM-PM, the hours we are all awake, that matter) and we were only reimbursed $400.00. Our stay for 3 nights stay, $400.00 reimbursement does not seem quite fair for the 12 waking hours without power, our group was dissatisfied with this. To be fair, had it not been for this, our stay would have been 5 stars.

The property is much better in person. We had two separate couples, two infants, and a nanny staying. The house is laid our surf one separate king bed separated from the main house built off the opposite side of the garage. That room had a full kitchen sink and bath and a separate hvac mini split. The main house was tremendous with great socializing areas all connected. The master is connected to the two twin bedroom and there is one queen bedroom across the hall. It wasn’t until halfway thru our trip that we found another hidden bed off the master in an outside atrium. The entire house was perfect! Reminded me of a Frank Loyd Wright home. Would definitely stay again. Close to Santa Rosa but far enough away to feel like you’re nestled in the hills of the country. We had wildlife visit us in the mornings and evening which was fun to watch from the hot tub drinking coffee or wine- Turkey, deer, and even a friendly skunk.
