Light floods in from the floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors to illuminate stylish tile floors, cooled further by central air conditioning. Sink into the leather sofa while you surf cable channels on the flatscreen TV, or pick out a DVD from the provided library to make it a movie night. You can head down to the sixth floor and claim one of the shared gas grills to put a quick sear on some meat or fresh produce. Get a quick workout in at the shared fitness center, then do a few laps in the shared infinity skyline pool. Grab a drink at the swim-up bar, then revel in a soaking session in the bubbling hot tub. Leave your stress behind as you unwind in the shared sauna, then dry off and challenge a friend to a game of foosball or billiards in the shared game room. Don't forget to take a picture at the Greetings from Galveston mural just under two miles away. Things to know: Blankets are available for guest use *Please note that the Emerald Resort charges a 10% fee, calculated as 10% of the rent only. This fee is already built into the fees at booking *Per HOA rules, renters are not allowed to have day visitors. Only registered occupants may be in the condo or use the common areas, including the pool. Renters are required to wear wristbands in the common areas to show that they have registered. *The gym/fitness center is only available to renters Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 am to 10:30 pm. Only adults 21 years and older are allowed in the gym. Guests are expected to bring a towel to wipe down equipment after using it. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 8. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Emerald by the Sea is very convenient to everything we wanted to do. In addition it was an easy drive to Moody Gardens. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially William. Parking was free and convenient. View from our 8th floor balcony was wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was very inviting and warm. The view from the balcony is much better in person, than the pictures. I kinda liked having a view of the city on one side and the beach on the other. My only complaint was the sliding door to the balcony. It was hard to open. Other than that, the pool was was simply amazing. Everything is close by. I liked having the security in and around the building. I will definitely find my way back here.

This co do was perfect for our family vacation! The kids loved the pool and playroom and the views were beautiful! The kitchen is fully stocked to make meals. Location was very convenient to the Harborside and the strand. Will definitely stay again!

The property was in a good location and the amenities were great. The condo itself needs some attention, particularly the door to the balcony and the railing. I was with my young children and the railing was broken in places which made us nervous. The door was extremely hard to close. The condo needed more towels. There were no wash clothes or face towels. I would definitely stay there again though.

Unit and building were very clean. Parking was easy and the pool was very nice. The reasons I did not care for it were that 75% of the view is horrible, railing was zip tied together, the rules were a bit uptight, and no windows were designed to be opened. The only sliding door was difficult to open and had no screen. Also, between the large scale ,miss matched furniture and the 1000 random things hung on every space of wall….it felt claustrophobic and haphazardly put together. But again, everything was clean and comfortable.

This room has a wrap around deck with a combo view of the gulf to the east and south and of the city to the north and west. The condo was spacious, with plenty of bed rooms and bathrooms. Black out shades on the windows would be preferred but understand they aren’t always an option. Wrist bands were required when in the commons area and pool. If they didn’t recognize you and couldn’t see your wristband the front desk attendant would ask about it. No big deal. Nick and Patty were very nice and great help with getting checked in and helping get the grill going for us on a windy and rainy night. Although we may choose a house next time, this will definitely be our spot if we want to rent a condo, we would stay here again!

Comfortable, clean and well-stocked. Everyone in our family enjoyed it and the sunrise views are gorgeous. We stayed for Thanksgiving and the host even left an aluminum roasting pan for us. Wonderful accommodation.

First time renting a condo. There was enough space for our family of four. The room with the day bed felt a little bit cramp. The place was overall clean despite some missed spots (kitchen counters not wiped down and dirty dishes in the dishwasher). Enjoyed the view from the balcony, close proximity to the stores, restaurants & beach. The pool and hot tub was enjoyable with a majestic view of the sunset. The downfall is the “bracelet” that’s required to be worn since we’re vacation renters, so the permanent residents knew who we were. Even though we have access to the amenities on the 6th floor, we were restricted to use the gym. It was only available to us on the weekends (seems a bit odd). VACASA staff was very communicative during the rain storm; brought in patio furniture due to the winds and provided extra items that we needed (big thanks to William). We enjoyed our stay for the time being but would be reluctant to rent a condo in the future due to the rules & regulations.

We had a great time. The view was fabulous and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Condo was well appointed with appliances, beach chairs and towels, even a high chair and portable crib if you have a little one. The amenities floor and pool was also great. Close to the Strand for a nice dinner out as well. The unit itself was nice and clean, a lot of furniture so it felt a little cramped but worked just fine for us. The balcony had a broken rail so we were not able to sit out and enjoy the views in the evening.

The condo facility is super. 6th floor pool, common area, game room, movie theater - all top notch and well done. We enjoyed our last minute stay here. The condo was perfect for our family and a great location. Our only small frustration was that the gym was closed to guests (only available to residents) during our stay.

We love the condo and the beautiful views of Stewart Beach. It was so cute with the many framed arts and well stocked kitchen ware. The weekend would not have been easy if we didn’t have personal contact while we stayed there. Thanks to Jake! Vacasa made it so easy when we needed help or something happened on the property. The desk had great hospitality too! Gave 5 stars so easy to get food or find food nearby or even cook in! The pool and gas grill made for a great cookout!

We love the condo and the beautiful views of Stewart Beach. It was so cute with the many framed arts and well stocked kitchen ware. Before school beach break
The condo was listed as sleeping 8, but it only has beds for 6. The building is nice, but not renter friendly. We had limited access to amenities, and were required to wear paper wristbands at all times. It's across the street from Stewart Beach, which was convenient, however, it was a 20 minute walk. The balcony was fabulous.

I loved the view. The pool is nice. They make you wear a pink wrist band so the permanent residents can keep a very good eye on you.
Also we were told that even if the property description says it has an amenity like a gym, doesn’t mean you get to use it.

Nice stay
The property is nice with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and small living space. The wrap around porch overlooks the beach on one side and industrial on the other side. Bring your own toiletries (the ones you’re given are small), coffee pods, and laundry detergent. The kids loved the WiFi and the cable tv. The pool was amazing! It’s heated and the hot tub is huge.

Had a wonderful time in Galveston. The condo was great and well equipped. The pizza place and the snow cone places out front are GREAT. The building was easy to navigate and staff was wonderful.

Nice condo
The condo was very nice and very well stocked. We had more than enough towels and there were even beach towels for our use. The only complaints are the WiFi password was incorrect and no one ever contacted us to correct it, and the pool was out of service for renovations. The gym, however; was very well equipped. The price was very reasonable for a 3 bedroom condo.
