Our trip to St. Louis was great. The house was marvelous. It was such a treat to be there for the holidays because the house decorated so nicely and the neighborhood was alive with lights and decorations. We would return in a heartbeat. Thanks!

The house was in the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood with access to lots of wonderful local restaurants. Also easy access to the highways. The host was fantastic. She was very responsive when I had to make several changes to my reservation, during my stay, and even afterwards. The movie theater on the top floor was such a fun surprise!

This is a beautiful historic home with plenty of wonderful details. Home is just as pictured. It is in a quiet neighborhood close to several restaurants and downtown. I wish we had been able to stay longer. It was a perfect place for our weekend. Check in process was easy and welcoming. I hope to stay again sometime!

This was a wonderful experience. A very nice historic home in a lovely neighborhood. Great restaurants within walking distance and a very short drive from anything you might want to do in St. Louis. The host was very kind and attentive.

Shared this Vrbo with friends to attend a conference at Union Station/Stifel Theater. We were all very impressed! Great historic beautiful property, well maintained and well stocked with essentials for your visit. The bed was a bit too firm for my taste which is the reason for the 4/5 stars. Loved the porch and location. Communication with Susan was excellent. Would 100% stay again and recommend to friends !

lovely historic building unfortunately, the bedding needs updating and the ripped curtains and broken blinds need replacing. Windows all sealed shut so no fresh air upstairs adding to the musty smell. Susan was an excellent host and sorted out a few issues very early on which enabled us to have a comfortable stay.

I can't imaging a better location to spend a few days in St. Louis. Cute shops, great food and drinks, and epic homes abound. The house is a specticle in itself but please vendure out and see the neighborhood, 10/10 would recomend.

The house was amazing!!! We loved the history and the character. We were visiting our daughter at SLU and the location was perfect. We enjoyed morning walks at Lafayette Park and delicious coffee at Park Avenue Coffee House each morning. The house was so spacious and well-stocked. Great host!! Highly recommend!

We loved staying in this beautiful, historical home in a lovely area of town. Susan is an exceptional host. We arrived earlier than planned but this seemed to be no problem for her. She met us at her property and kindly gave us a tour and showed us how everything worked and where everything was located. The house is beautifully furnished in keeping with the original style of the home, yet there is a modern, spacious kitchen with everything you would need to cook meals. We were in and out a lot but we did cook a large breakfast one morning, and we found the kitchen to be so well stocked that we only needed a few grocery items. The home is located on a quiet, tree-lined street and includes a lovely, peaceful deck and courtyard in the back, where we enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the weather. We would definitely recommend this home and hope we can stay here again on our next trip to St. Louis.

A gem of a home in a quaint location! We had a Girls’ weekend and the home was perfect for gathering in the wonderful kitchen. You must like stairs to stay here. But they are worth it because they lead you to gorgeous bedrooms and movie room. We walked to wonderful restaurants and bakery/coffee shop. Close to many attractions. Susan was great to work with.

My family stayed here for a weekend and it was perfect!! We had such a great time and Susan was so welcoming. She left treats and was even there to give us a tour. I’ve never had a host who was so informative and helpful. We will definitely be returning! Side note: The bedrooms are upstairs so if you like to sleep in the cold, bring a fan ☺️ Also if you are bringing young children (which I did not, but Being a mom, I always think of this stuff) be sure to bring baby gates!!

This home was built in the 1800’s. The charm and feel of both the inside and outside are amazing. With the renovations that have been done, it has all the comforts of home. The neighborhood is delightful and safe. Delicious food at local restaurants are only a short walking distance away.

This was our second year spending Christmas in St. Louis in Lafayette Square! Our stay was very comfortable - we love the historic house full of charm conveniently located in beautiful Lafayette Square. Susan was very accommodating and helpful as always. This home did not disappoint! We loved the history and neighborhood of this home! Cozy and comfortable with a great patio and theatre room! Walking distance to Lafayette Park, Park Avenue Coffee, Polite Society and many other restaurants. It was quiet and clean! Loved living here for the weekend!
