The views from the patio are magnificent! This house is nicely appointed everything you need is there . Nice and clean and Danae was available and responsive . This property is walking distance to restaurants and the Fletchers Cove /Tides . We entertained my 75 year old parents and they were able to access the beach and property comfortably . We will definitely be returning to this beautiful house to enjoy each others company in wonderful Solana Beach ! Thanks again for letting us rent your awesome house . Cheers !

We rented this beach house for one week in April and if we were back in the San Diego area would do it again. The location cannot be beat: great beaches, restaurants and shopping all within easy walking distance. The ocean view from the house and deck cannot be any better and watching dolphins at play, surfers and sunsets never got old. Many interesting beach towns are nearby and Uber also worked if you want that option.
The house had every amenity you could want so we enjoyed many meals with the beautiful sunsets. All of the bedding was clean and comfortable. Lots of beach accessories also available.
Thank you to our VRBO hosts for a wonderful family holiday in Solana Beach. Your home is a real gem.

Fantastic property; incredible views and great location!
My family and I (husband, 2 teenage sons, 15 & 17) really enjoyed staying at this lovely home. The views are incredible - pure blue ocean, sunny skies and brilliant sunsets. The house is very close to the beach (less than 5 min walk) and has all the beach gear you would need. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, we rented eBikes for the week and took advantage of them to visit the beach towns up and down the coast as well. The house has everything you will need for a relaxing vacation and it was very quiet and tranquil at night. Overall I would highly recommend this property for a lovely SoCal beach vacation.

Family Vacation
This is our 2nd stay at this place and it is as GREAT as we remembered last year. The location is wonderful and convenient to the beach, the view from this property is breathtaking and the owners of this place are more responsive then any other VRBO we have ever stayed. Summer Escape
The property is exactly as advertised if not maybe a little better. The check in / check out process is extremely simple and the landlord is quick to response with any questions you may have during your stay. We have rented this property 2 years in a row and already looking forward to next years trip.

Great home, great communication, AMAZING view!
Our family had a wonderfully relaxing trip to Solana Beach. Danae was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. The home is well stocked and resides cliffside with amazing sunset views of the relatively private beach below. Our kids really enjoyed the beach and use of the boogie boards daily!
The 3 bedrooms are small but cozy, the beds are comfortable and the linens soft and clean. Two of the bedrooms are joined by a single bath between them.
The deck overlooking the ocean is lovely, with expansive views of the Pacific sunsets.
No review is believable without the cons, so here a just a few minor thoughts:
There is a fair amount of bird droppings in both the front and rear of the home, particularly on the patio furniture, so had to lay some towels down on them to enjoy sitting back there.
To get down to the beach is about a 10 minute walk from the house, so you do have a beach view, but not necessarily immediate beach access from the home.
Lastly, the main room has a beautiful paned window view of the ocean and sunset outside, however there is no way to truly open up the home and enjoy the outdoors while sitting indoors. The exit to the deck is through a solid door off to the side. Glass door sliders and screens would be an amazing upgrade instead of a solid picture window if ever to be considered.
All that noted above, we loved our week away and truly appreciate Danae opening their home to us. We even had a slight mishap with a ceiling fan and Danae was extremely forgiving and understanding.
All in all, a great trip to a great home and a great host!

Amazing Oceanfront Property
Just wrapped up a relaxing week at this amazing beach house. Located on the cliff above the beach, we enjoyed beautiful views and great sunsets every night. The patio is huge with comfortable outdoor couches and a really nice shade umbrella. The fire pit is a great touch in the evenings. We spent most of our time outside, enjoying the sound of waves below. We loved sitting in the lifeguard chair for our morning coffee and at sunset.
The house is very comfortable and stocked with everything you need for a week at the beach. We cooked several nights and the kitchen worked very well. We also took full advantage of the boogie boards & surfboard and the kids also loved using the bikes to get around town.
The neighborhood has tons of great restaurant choices within walking/biking distance.
We'd definitely stay here again!

Amazing!
This Solana Beach oceanfront home was perfect for our 4th of July staycation! Even though we only live a couple of miles away, we really felt like we were on vacation. The home is gorgeous and the view is spectacular! My only recommendations would be a couple of umbrellas for shade on the patio and maybe spray for ants. It was a hot week while we were there, but there were a lot of ants in the kitchen; easy enough to take care of, but really had to stay on top of putting food away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for sharing your beach house with us!

happy return to Pacific Ave in Solana Beach
For the past few years we have stayed on Pacific Ave in Solana Beach. This was our first year in Danae's house. We plan to return next year.
Of course, the location and view are spectacular.
The house is very comfortable. The lifeguard stand on the patio was especially enjoyable.
Danae is extremely responsive but never intrusive.
If you want a safe, friendly neighborhood, good restaurants close by, the ocean, and sunsets, you will like this place.

Beyond PERFECT!!
Words truly cannot describe how perfect this house was. The house itself was clean, updated, and very comfortable for our family (2 adults, 3 kids) and the view from the deck was stunning. We even caught a glimpse of some dolphins on our last morning there! Danae was a wonderful host. She provided dining, shopping and beach suggestions all within walking distance or a short drive and even had a bottle of wine chilled and ready for us upon arrival....which is exactly what we needed after a day of travel! We will definitely be back next time we are traveling to the San Diego area.

Great Spot!
Loved it. Comfortable home with great kitchen walking distance from beach, restaurants and shopping. Spent evenings with family and friends on the well equipped outdoor deck (fire pit, plenty of seating, games, music and views) had an amazing time. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Best whitewater view stay in the SD County Coast!
Overall, it was the bomb!!! You’ll have to monitor and manage the larger propane tanks, though. Best stay in. Long time. Ocean is right there!! White water view!! You won’t be disappointed!

Spectacular views
We absolutely fell in love with this home on the Solana Beach Cliffs. The views from the deck are mesmerizing! The house is absolutely adorable. Very clean, with a charming beach decor. We rode the beach cruisers to town and around the area. My boys enjoyed riding the waves with the boogie boards. The location is just a few houses from the entrance to the beach and to downtown. The community is very friendly and we loved some of the local restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again.

Literally the perfect beach house. We stayed with 6 adults. Hosts were really helpful and the home was truly impeccable with the best view of the ocean. Hope to come again soon!
