Depending on the time of year you choose to visit our backyard entertains pods of manatees, dolphins, jumping mullet, native birds, squirrels and otters to mention a few. Our resident squirrels will keep you entertained scampering around eating palm fruit that falls from our many palm trees surrounding our home. Numerous activities are available for everyone to enjoy. We have 7 Single Kayaks/2 TRIPLE kayaks, kids kayak and Paddleboard with Paddles and Life Vests for free use during your stay. BRING YOUR BOAT.....The Inshore AND offshore Fishing is some of the best in Florida. Our dock that stretches over 60 feet is yours to enjoy while you are at our home. We can house several boats at one time. (Boat lift is not for rental use) Local Marinas (Twin Rivers Marina, Pete's Pier or The Plant ation Resort Marina) have some great Boats to rent if you don't want to bring your own. Crystal River has many fishing guides and tour boats to choose from as well. We are minutes away from the heart of Scalloping which runs July 1st to September 24th and Manatee watching can happen at our dock in the fall/winter and early spring. Other activities at/or around us include Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Golf, Bicycling, Beach, Tennis, Snorkeling, Nature Trails, Horseback Riding, Shopping or just relaxing by our screened POOL at the house. Airboat Rides are amazing in our freshwater preserves in Floral City, Inverness or here on Crystal River. We are located about 1 1/2 hours from Orlando as well as the Tampa/Clearwater Beaches. Our small local beach here in Crystal River is just about 4 miles from the house. Homosassa State Wildlife Park is about 10 miles away and Rainbow River is about 30 minutes away. Weeki Wachee is about 30 minutes away. The Natural Springs are some of the most beautiful water spots in Florida. Our local Restaurants have amazing fresh seafood. ABOUT THE HOME: Our Kitchen is well appointed with stainless appliances including pots, pans, dishes, blenders, mixers, sandwich press, crock pots, waffle maker, bread maker, toaster, pressure cooker, etc and utensils for 12, coffee makers (ONE 2 POT COMMERCIAL BUNN DOWNSTAIRS AND ONE KEIRUG UPSTAIRS). Your Private Newly Screened Heated Pool has lounge chairs, table, umbrella, water toys and safety alarm if you choose to activate to protect children. There is an additional solar pool cover available for use during cooler nights to maintain swimming temperatures during early spring and fall swimming season. Screened Lanai is spacious enough to hold a large group with a Gas AND Charcoal Grill if you choose to eat in. Sleeping Options: You can wind down from a fabulous vacation day in the Upstairs Master Bedroom. This bedroom is nicely appointed with a great private screened porch, private TV and Bath. The Upstairs Master offers a King Bed and a Gel Cooled Memory Foam Firm Mattress. The Bottom Master also appoints a King Remote Controlled Adjustable Frame Gel Cooled Memory Foam Medium Mattress. Loved the property! We had everything we needed to cook, hang out at the house, to kayak and enjoy the river and to hang out at the pool. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans etc. The pool area had water games, pool noodles and life jackets etc… This house was fully equipped as the perfect rental!

The house was big, fun game.room, nice to have separate bedrooms for each couple. Only negative was the heated pool pump went out a few days before we got there, and we werent aware until asking about it, so we were unable to use it.

House was impressive. Pool was very good. Only complaint was there was a tornado there 2 days before we got there. A lot of roads and businesses were closed because of damage. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. But other than that, a great trip and would book again.

We stayed in this property for our 2023 family reunion. The home was perfect for our family of 12 :) We loved having separate areas where family members could hang out in without all being on top of each other. Several members of our party took the kayaks several times. Patty was an excellent host. We were there during the tornado which hit between 1-2 miles from the home. We lost power at 2:15am until 7:40pm that evening. We contacted the host and she brought us down flashlights, candles and battery operated lights. We also let her know that the tips on the pool sticks were missing, she came and picked them all up and ordered 4 new pool sticks and delivered them when they arrived. Her home is very well equipped with everything you need and she is very responsive and accommodating to the needs of her renters. I would highly recommend this home and we hope to use her home again in the future.
It is definitely a reunion we will remember due to the tornado and making coffee on the grill, toasting bagels on the grill and making ziti casseroles on the grill :)
The only negative thing is that our stay went way too quickly :)

We had one of the best weekends we've had in a very long time. The property is unbelievable! Beautifully decorated. Everything you need is there! Just bring your food and beverage and enjoy.....
We really had a good time going out with the kayaks, playing corn hole, ping pong, pool, etc. We used the grill everyday and made some fabulous meals. We also enjoy swimming in the beautiful inground pool and going for walks and bike rides in the neighborhood.
We brought our boat and kept it in the water the whole time. We went out several times and enjoyed the dolphins and manatees that are all over the place. There is a very nice public boat ramp 5 minutes from the house. The driveway is large enough for 5 cars plus the trailer.
Awesome place!! Hosts were very responsive. We will be back.

No damage from the hurricane! This house was beautiful! We thought after Hurricane Idalia came through Crystal River we may have to cancel our family vacation, but Patty did an awesome job in making sure everything was ready for us. Booking with her for next year!

We loved that the house was on a canal so our boats didn’t get beat up by a ton of other boat traffic. The house had so many different areas to hang out in, which was great because we had quite a bit of rain. We loved having the pool to hang out in after a day on the boat. We cooked dinner three nights and the kitchen was very well stocked. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The house was easy to find and close to Pete’s Pier, which is where we put our boats in and parked the trailers. Thanks for having us, we will be back!

This property is incredible! The decor is perfection and even more superior in person to what you see on the listing. I’ve stayed at many short term rental properties but have never experienced one so well appointed with extras on hand of anything you need, and a kitchen with every gadget and appliance imaginable. We cooked full meals all 4 nights of our stay - the double oven was a godsend! Patty has truly taken the time to ensure her guests have every comfort of home. We were a group of 9, which consisted of 2 couples and our young adult children, all ages 20 and 21. The layout of the property could not have been more perfect. As stated in other reviews, it’s essentially 2 separate 3 bd / 2 bath homes all under one roof. All rooms are generously sized. The group of us have been taking our annual scalloping trip together for 6 years now. We’ve previously stayed at properties with views of the open water and thought we would miss the view but we all agreed the privacy and peacefulness of the canal view with no neighbor across the way due to conservation area was unexpectedly preferred! We had 2 boats that fit comfortably at the dock, with plenty of room to spare. Several of us made use of the kayaks and we all enjoyed playing pool and ping pong, and swimming in the pool. We’re looking forward to being Patty’s guests again in the future and wish I could give this home and Patty higher than a 5 star rating!

Overall the house was clean & had plenty of space for 11 people. We enjoyed the game room & the pool the most. Every question that I had, Patty answered right away. It rained a lot while we were there but we made the most of it & had a good time.

This was a family vacation with 10 adults and 2 kids. My 5 grandkids came along ranging in age from 5 to 23. There is something for everyone at this house. The older grandkids as well as my kids/spouses utilized the bikes and kayaks. The pool kept the younger ones entertained. This house is seperated well with 3 beds/2 baths on each end. Although a little dated, this house is very nice. 2 living areas and a game room that kept us all busy. We were very fortunate to see a couple of manatees off the dock in the canal, a small alligator, and a small shark, and lots of birds, including 2 sets of cardinals. We had just a small issue on our first day, but a quick text to the owner and she was there within minutes fix it. I highly recommend this home for your family. We will be returning!

My daughter graduated from The Villages Charter School, and we had our entire family coming from out of state. I wanted a home big enough that all of us could not only stay, but also be comfortable and have a good time together. The layout was perfect! The rooms were big and there was more than enough beds for everyone to sleep comfortably and have privacy. Half of the rooms and baths are upstairs and the other half downstairs, which was perfect for separation of noise/age groups - as we had grandparents and teenagers. The pool, the kayaks, and the pool table made for endless entertainment without having to leave the premises. There was also plenty of places to find solitude and a bit of downtime whenever too much “togetherness” called for a bit of “me” time. The kitchen was beyond fully equipped, more gadgets and useful items than we would have ever imagined! There was even a doggie door and fenced yard for my parents little dog who they refuse to travel without. The ability to find a place that was perfect for a large and diverse family was just amazing to me. We have never been able to rent something to perfect for such a hard to please group! This place was wonderful and there isn’t one single complaint. The neighbor who helps Miss Patty was wonderful and helpful as well! Would come back and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! It doesn’t get any better than this! The house is perfect with lots of room for all. It’s perfect for younger generation to stay on one end and the older generation to stay upstairs on the other end of the house since younger ones stay up later watching movies, etc.

We stayed for a long weekend with our kids, parents and siblings with their kids for Mother's Day. The location is amazing being right on the water but tucked away enough in the canal you don't have the boat traffic. The house looks across at the preserve so no neighbors look into the back yard. The pool area and game room were a lot of fun. The kitchen was well-appointed and there is plenty of room throughout the home to relax, including a nice screened in porch off the master bedroom/upper level family room. The house was elaborately decorated with fun coastal themed furnishings. We rented a pontoon boat from a nearby marina and the floating dock was the perfect size to tie-up to. We saw dolphin, manatee and a bald eagle. Plenty of fishing to be had too.
The house lives up to its reviews and the host Patty was wonderful to work with. We'd recommend this to anyone looking for a little bit of everything!

This house had everything you could want for a fun stay on the river. We loved the huge pool area, ping pong, pool, and other games along with kayaks, canoes and dock on the protected canal just off the main river. The kitchen had everything we needed to entertain our party of 7 and the family room was perfect for relaxing. The owner responded quickly to our couple of questions.

Wonderful stay at this home with so much to offer. Recreation opportunities inside and out; kayaks bikes, heated pool, cornhole,pool and ping-pong table, games, dvds! The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, and the entire house is just beautifully decorated. Lots of private and group space for everyone. We loved our stay here.

Our group of five friends spent four nights here during peak manatee season. The place had everything we needed. Although the weather was cold we still enjoyed kayaking in King's Bay and the heated pool. The location was very convenient to all things manatee as well as local restaurants and grocery stores. I would highly recommend this place.
