McCloud is at walking distance to the lake and to grocery stores, and less than ten minutes drive to the slopes
Pros & cons of unit:
Pros
• Competitive price
• Furnished/accessorized with everything you need for a quick stay (utensils, cups, plates, and cookware)
• Comfortable beds
• Functional unit layout
• Ease of lighting the fireplace with gas assisted fireplace and an abundance of wood made available to guests
• Garage with door remote to park car overnight
Cons
• Unit location. First floor unit, no stairs but no privacy. Unit is surrounded on all sides by other residential buildings and all windows/doors are facing community pathways giving you very little privacy
• The apartment might benefit from some detailed cleaning. Kitchen and baths were very clean. There was some layer of dust in a few places, but most bothersome to us was the pretty worn out and seemingly dirty carpet in the living room and bedrooms.
• The TV entertainment system seemed to malfunction. Roku set top box kept hanging and restarting. Fortunately we had brought our own Chromecast
• Loud tapping sounds in the master bedroom that would wake you up at night, probably due to rattling pipes or hot water circulation
• Management list of checkout to do tasks (cleaning fireplace and running laundry cycle) would be fine if they didn't have close to $300 in cleaning fees
• One missing “amenity” would be a selection of family board games

Really enjoyed exploring Incline Village and surrounding areas. Condo was beautifully appointed with all the comforts of home. The owner was quick to respond to questions and accommodated all of our requests.

This was a great location for our end-of-summer family getaway! Even though it’s a large complex, during our stay it was so peaceful and quiet. The unit gave us space and privacy and the stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. We enjoyed access to the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Communication and cleanliness were some of the best I’ve experienced in a vacation rental!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in early August 2023. Condo in great shape, nicely furnished, and with a well-equipped kitchen (breakfast only for us).
Very nicely landscaped property and a great location walking distance from both the beach and the stores.
Highly recommended.

Two couples enjoyed this very well equipped condo. During our stay it was very quiet and we could enjoy the back deck all day and evening. Lovely place to stay.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this property in early June. The location is quiet and bucolic .. it feels like you’re staying in the woods! Conveniently located to beaches (2 you can access), a fitness center, trails, restaurants, and of course the lake! We brought our mountain bikes and rode the Incline Village trails (which we could easily bike to) around the lake every day. The host has thought of everything in stocking this condo. We planned for meals out, but stopped at Safeway market & cooked our favorite things (Weber grill on the patio is a plus.) It was so easy & convenient since the condo is so well stocked. It was just 2 of us, but the king sized bed was quite comfortable. Only down side is the spa was being serviced, but we were notified in advance, and the weather turned around last minute & was warm & sunny, so we likely would not have used it on this trip. We will recommend this property to friends & would book again!

Our experience was incredible, we had a lovely time. To start off, we originally booked in January but then that powerful storm hit northern California. The homeowner was gracious enough to work with us in rescheduling. Everything at the property was lovely and we had a fantastic time. The property is rented out through a third party so there is a small fee added to the total, so just account for that.

We loved this property. It was very clean and cozy. Very well stocked with everything you need to cook. Beds were very comfortable. It was nice to sit outside on the deck and look at the trees. Also, there was an owl in one of the pine trees.
It's very quiet. We will be back!

Air quality was off and on unhealthy unfortunately due to Mosquito fire but managed to get in great hiking and biking around the smoke. Wonderful time to visit—no crowds! Owner/contact gave us helpful, detailed information to assist with our stay.

Great condo. Very well-kept, clean, and perfectly located in the most scenic part of Tahoe. Loved the complex / space outside the condo - great proximity to beaches/eastern shore and restaurants in incline village. Lots of space for a couple, and could comfortably accommodate 4 if needed. Perfect for a relaxing getaway - will be back!

We stayed at 239 McCloud for 3 weeks. The unit was very well equipped, clean, and in a great location in Incline Village. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The owner and management company were great to work with and prompltly answered every questions we had regarding the property and use of IVGID facilities.. We hope to stay here in the summers to come.

Great spot, conveniently located, access to private beach
For a couple, this is the perfect accommodation. Spacious living area, dining area, full kitchen, decent sized master BR. Streaming TV and BOSE bluetooth speaker. The second bedroom is tight and could use better storage for clothes. I would not suggest a second couple try to occupy this small room. For two chums on golf holiday, however, it was perfect. The small deck and gas grill were a bonus for a condo. The best part is use of private Ski Beach including parking, a snack bar and full bar, plus nightly live music in summer months.

We like to hike and walk, and this condo was within walking distance to the lakefront and to shopping. It was very quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. With many great hiking trails near Incline, we really enjoyed our stay!

This 2 bedroom condo was very clean. The floor plan is very well laid out and is surprisingly spacious. The wood burning fireplace provided great ambiance and warmth while the family watched movies. The location is very close to restaurants, grocery stores and the Hyatt Casino. We will definitely rent there again! Thank you!

The condo comes well equipped and is in a lovely setting. The owner was accommodating when we had unscheduled driveway work and had to leave early. Living room furniture is a bit low for us seniors, but we’d come again.

The place was perfect for my family. The proximity to excellent beaches that were great for my two young kids was fantastic. Easy check in, clean place, and great directions that covered anything we might need during the stay. The condo complex was also very nice and very quiet, which we appreciated. We would definitely book this property again.

Great stay
We loved our stay at Kenneth's condo McCloud Condominium complex. We were impressed by how incredibly clean everything was, and the very thorough instructions and list of amenities was appreciated. The condo is on the first floor with a neighbor above, but noise was not an issue at all (just a few footsteps). Two parking spots and a garage (small but our 4Runner fit) are provided, as well as the option to load/unload closer to the condo in a roundabout. Heating in the condo is very effective, and the heated bathroom floors and wood-burning fireplace are nice touches that we took advantage of. The kitchen is nicely equipped, and we loved using the Nespresso machine. Overall, it is a well appointed condo in a convenient location (very close to Diamond Peak, not too far from Mt. Rose and Northstar). There's even a storage closet outside of the front door to keep snowboard/ski equipment. The only negatives was that the WiFi could be spotty at times, but this was a minor issue. We would absolutely stay here again in the future. Thanks for a great stay Kenneth!

Location is perfect - blocks from town or the lake. Nice complex - well maintained. Our place was fabulous- upgraded kitchen and bathrooms nice fireplace. 15 min drive to MT Rose fir skiing. We’d stay there again.

Very nice condo with everything we needed. Beds were quite comfortable! Grounds are beautiful this time of year with fall colors. Hot tubs were closed due to COVID which was a bummer. Condo is close walking distance to beautiful trails and the beach.
