About this standard cabin rental
Nestled in Lake Martin, this attractive standard cabin for $526 per night is a great choice for your next trip. .Ask about our football special from mid-September through November 30th. Rent Friday and Saturday nights and receive Thursday or Sunday night for free! Thanksgiving weekend excluded. Please ask for these specials as the VRBO software cannot automatically do this. Enjoy our private hot tub on the property overlooking the lake! This is the perfect family getaway for some good old fashioned fun or a special place to find peace and solace for the weekend. We have all year-round water at Treasure Cove and the water is always clear! Not to mention the fish -- they love to sun themselves by our handcrafted sea wall. Want to enjoy a lazy time on the lake? Perched on its own point, this charming 1950's cottage is just like what you remember from your childhood complete with 1000 square feet of wraparound screened in porch. Boasting 600 feet of gorgeous lakefront, the outside will knock your socks off! The rock seawall has five large openings where you can walk right into the water. There is one dock for your boats and one swimming platform. With plenty of outdoor space, you can enjoy beach volleyball in our lakeside court, late night campfires in our massive fire circle and picnics down by the lake - there is even a sand box for the kids! They'll love sleeping on the beds located on the porch - our kids did and now our grand kids do! Great for families, fishing and hunting excursions or a peaceful retreat. We have done a beautiful job of landscaping and creating a special 'get away from it all' atmosphere. There is also our own boat ramp that works best for smaller trailers and 18 feet boats. Want to catch movies and sports on TV? Check out our flat screen high resolution TV. Satellite offers you an abundance of programming and movies including ESPN. High-speed internet access plus wifi available. Property is free from artificial fragrance and uses natural products. We are conveniently located in the Anchor Bay/Kowaliga area on its own point in Treasure Cove. The house was built by Aubrey's grandfather. Once you see it, you'll be back ... again and again! Available for two night minimum. Holiday minimums for 2024 as follows: 4 night minimum for Labor Day and Thanksgiving, 5 night minimum for Memorial Day and 7 night minimum for Independence Day. June and July 2024 have a minimum of 5 nights until 4/1/24. Thereafter, there is 2 night minimum excluding holidays listed above. This was my first VRBO experience and I know I picked the perfect location/ host for it. Everything was perfect, we were given clear communication and the opportunity to reserve an event. There were more than enough items in the kitchen to cook a variety of snacks and meals! My family raved about the decor of the home and during our stay my fiancé and I had our celebration, which was similar to tiny informal wedding, right by the lake. My mother’s wheelchair could be pushed through the entire house and porch with no trouble and even all the way to the volleyball area. 10/10 would recommend!

I stayed 3 nights, to get a small break from the busy life. It was absolutely gorgeous! Amazing architecture on the property, the set up of the grounds is beautiful. It is very cozy, secluded/private, and beautiful.

Met 3 friends from college to go see Auburn game and spend the weekend together. The property is beautiful! Loved the hot tub but it needed more water. Otherwise just perfect for us. Will definitely try to stay here again.

We rented this house to have a relaxing get away in our happy place. We were very pleased with the property. It has a pleasant cozy camp feel. The property is located on a beautiful piece of property with excellent lake front views. The huge screened in back porch overlooking the lake was my favorite place. I spent the majority of the time there either by myself reading on the cozy futon, playing on the floor with my three year old, or playing games with my family and friends at the large dining table on the porch!! It was perfect! We made memories we will cherish for a lifetime. We would love to rent this place again in the future!

I think this is our tenth visit to Aubrey’s Lakewood Cabin and it’s always a family favourite! My only comment is that while perfectly adequate for our vacation, some simple kitchen and bathroom products (oil for cooking, coffee, soap, shampoo etc) would have been welcomed.

We loved everything about the property. Our hands down favorite is the porch it is awesome.There was plenty of room and our adults loved the hot tub. We missed being able to play volleyball as the last storm must have torn up the net, but we found plenty more to do. Wonderful mini vacay! Excellent property!!! Full service marina one mile away. Excellent public boat ramp 1 and a quarter mile away. Plenty of room in cabin for 8 adults. Super nice kitchen and 2 large dining tables (1 indoors and one on porch! Highly recommend this space for a lake vacation! Lake Martin is a very large and beautiful lake! Oh, and did I mention the porch!❤️

We were genuinely astounded at the beauty of the property. The kids had a great time playing in the shallow areas and on the floating deck. We were delighted to find the concrete shelf in the water was not slick at all and the kids had the best time in that area. We met friendly ducks and had some fun times in the hot tub that stayed hot, which was nice. It was also ready to go - just had to pull back the cover. Communication with the property manager was timely. We left some kid shoes on the property that we needed to swing by and get after checking out. That was no problem at all. Also, the beds were very comfy with nice embroidered sheets (I would love to know where to get those). The cabin was extremely clean with very few insects, even on the porch, which was a nice surprise considering it’s in the woods. Also, the AC worked great and kept things very cool. A warning for new boaters on the lake - there is a long shallow area marked by buoys right before you get to the property via boat. Do not go near any of the buoys or you will run aground and ruin your prop (ask me how I know this…). Take a wide turn out and then immediate turn left to approach the dock almost head on. The docks were well cushioned to save your boat sides as well. I highly recommend this property and will be visiting again!

The property is perfect for a nice family get together. Amazing property grounds. My family was able to enjoy the hot tub, swimming in the lake and also fishing. My husband was able to get his bass boat in the water on the property. The entire family completely enjoyed. will definitely rent again in the future.

We loved the place. Gorgeous deck and outside lot. We took our adult children and my 80 year old parents to spend time together. It was perfect for everyone. We could swim, fish or just sit on the deck and enjoy the view. We had a wonderful time, despite the rain. So thankful for the hot tub! It was perfect for the cooler, cloudy days. Thanks so much!

Property is for a multi million dollar house. It is great. Be super careful though. There is swim platform the kids loved but is dangerous for diving because the water around it is a little shallow. It is the lake after all so you should always be careful.

Mid Nov trip with the kids and grandchild. Surprised to see how low the lake was, but the fish didn’t mind, and neither did we. Very cold ( low 30s in the mornings), but the house is warm, the hot tub was great, and we enjoyed the fire pit. Great hikes in the area, and beautiful sunsets. Huge covered porch for the granddaughter to run around in, and enough room for our family of 6 to relax and enjoy. The lake is very quiet this time of year. Perfect get away. We choose this property because it was in a perfect location so that we would be close to wedding festivities. Aside from wedding festivities, we found the property to be a perfect spot for our family weekend. The one year old loved toddling on the wonderful wrap-around porch. With a fire and without, the four year old loved the fire pit area and dipping her toes in the lake, and the sandy area. The 85 year old loved the extensive rock work and gathering spots. The 29 year old loved the hot tub and was happy that it was all ready warm. There was much to be loved by our group of 8. The kitchen was well-stocked and the house was well-loved and comfortable. All areas were clean and well-maintained. The lake front is expansive and beautiful. It must be the best spot on the lake!

We came for a lovely but cool fall weekend, perfect for the hot tub and s’mores by the outdoor fire pit. There are also several great hiking spots on this lake. Inside, the heat worked well so I wouldn’t hesitate to enjoy this place again in the cooler seasons. The kitchen has been updated nicely. Loved the swing on the porch. We are planning to try to come back for a week in the summer to experience more that this beautiful lake has to offer.

Stayed here for 5 days just after labor day. The weather was great, the water was warm perfect for my family. My kids loved jumping off the dock and being able to park the boat right at the house. The house was clean and we really enjoyed the rustic charm of the house. We want to come back ASAP.
