Waking up every morning to the view of the ocean/beach was beautiful, peaceful, relaxing. The condo served its purpose for my family and I. They were quick to reply with our questions/requests. Beach was 2 blocks away making the walk/stroll to the beach nice versus having to drive and look for parking. It was also nice that we had a parking spot every day to park our rental/pickup truck. Perfect location to shops, restaurants, ABC store 😊. I'd stay here again. Staff were also very friendly/helpful - lots of ALOHA 🌺

We stayed here for a few nights in December 2022. It was close to every place we wanted to visit. This unit was all the way up at the top which was great. Some views of the water could be seen. The patio needed a bit of maintenance but other than that we enjoyed it very much.

We liked the condo, but if you have more than 4 people I highly recommend you don't book this condo as the sleeper sofa is in very bad condition. Sunk in and very uncomfortable. Lanai has bird poop all over. Only good thing is the view there.
Overall it's a nice condo that needs more TLC. The sofa is dirty and I didn't want to even want to sit on it.

Location, location, location. Honolulu is a great city, and being able to walk yo a bunch of places is worth it. We spent very little time in the apartment, but nonetheless it was great to have s place of respite.

We have stayed at this location before a few years ago, however this time our Condo was showing the age of time, the towels were very well used, the balcony gave us a great view, however sitting out there with all the bird poop all over the tiles and chairs and cushions made it very uncomfortable, and lastly we found out we had to buy our own toilet paper

Best part of theirs condo was the view. The condo itself was nice; however, the drain in the shower ran extremely slow. Therefore, by the time you are done with your shower, you are standing in 3” of dirty water. Called Vacasa several times. Main office in Maui I guess. They kept telling me they would have someone from Oahu call me. No one ever called even though I asked for someone to clear the drain a number of times. Then there was no key given to us for the door that leads to the parking lot …. Thus if we got home late at night, we would have to walk down several flights of stairs to get to the elevators on the first floor. I requested a key at least 3 or 4 times with absolutely no remedy. All other times I stayed at Waikiki Banyan, I was given a key to those parking lot doors. Bad service in terms because no one from Oahu ever addresses our issues.

Amazing view, clean place and enough space for 4 people easily. Only downside was the bed was very hard. I would suggest either a newer softer bed or putting a pillow top mattress cover.

Older place but it was nice for a couple nights in Waikiki. Walkable to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable but the other furniture needs replaced.

Property was very clean but there were no beach towels or tea towels. The toilet did not work well & there was no tub mat which made it slippery & dangerous in the bathtub. We had a lovely view of the ocean from the balcony

Pros - nice view, great communication with vacasa staff, available beach chair/mats/umbrella, complete kitchen stuff
Cons - bathroom with bad smell that came from shower curtain which looks like not cleaned very well or replaced, very dull kitchen knives, old kitchen utensils esp spoon/fork (I suggest replacing them), bedroom curtain needs replacing, with lots of stains

We stayed here 5 nights and enjoyed every bit of it. This was our first trip to Hawaii, and The Banyan surpassed our expectations. From the moment we walked into the unit, we were feeling the island vibes with all of the decor, lanai, amazing ocean views, and a short walk to the beach. Additionally, the place was very clean and included all of the essentials for cooking in as needed. The garage parking included was also a huge plus. We would absolutely return to The Banyan and recommend to others as well!

Incredible Island Vibes at The Banyan
We stayed here 5 nights and enjoyed every bit of it. This was our first trip to Hawaii, and The Banyan surpassed our expectations. Beautiful
The place was absolutely beautiful. Amazing view, clean. Only complaint is the dividing doors that would have made this a one bedroom were broken and not easy to open and close and I was afraid one of them was going to fall down if we kept using it. So it was really like an open studio. We have kids and wanted to be able to put them to sleep and still have the living room as a separate space, but that was not able to happen due to the sliding divider doors not working.

Great Place to Stay
3804 Banyan is a nice little condo with many upgrades to the interior. It is obviously an older building, and the floors of the condo reflect that, but who cares? View is awesome, short walk to the beach and town, parking included...I'd stay again!

Lovely Waikiki get away spot
This was a nice, convenient location two blocks from Waikiki Beach. As is true with most hotels/condos in Waikiki, the buildings are aging, and the same was true of this one. However, there was little to no negative impact caused by what is pretty normal in Waikiki these days.

DO NOT RENT THIS CONDO
Their response to previous concerns by reviewer in NOV re sliding door etc have not been address as they say they have I have just left the condo and these are still issues I In need of attention. The condition of condo is poor ( does not reflect price) the wood flooring is extensively water damaged is black/ brow stained in colour around air conditioning system extends into bedroom and the flooring is uneven lifting and splitting throughout condo
The sliding door to lanai did not close properly it had to be lifted and pulled repeatedly(very difficult) to get it closed made you reconsider sitting outside
The walls (corners ) had missing gyproc all over in need of repairs and paint missing on wall behind bed
The sofa and throw rug desperately need cleaning
There were no dish towels or dish cloths no dishwasher detergent had to ask for some and was told by local manager after over 6 hours would be delivered at her convenience
The condo has no beach or pool towels not even a laundry basket to help take your laundry to the far end of the hall over all poorly stocked no extras.
Worst condo I have ever stayed at in the Banyan This was #18 at the Banyan I have stayed at and have never Given a bad review EVER!!! Always over looked the odd flaw or short coming but just can’t keep quiet about this place

Top floor. Great view. Big king bed. Great location. Quiet too. Free parking.
Small things for maintenance: Balcony door is very hard to open and close. Sliding doors to bedroom are all off hinges. Window off hinge.

Beautiful view and comfortable seating.
Overall very nice . I would suggest to have more than 3 rolls of toilet paper for 6 nights. I had to buy more. Also no bath Matt to prevent slipping on a wet floor . A light bulb went out and no extras. The bathroom plug didn’t work so I had to dry my hair in the living room. Thankful they came and replaced outlet.
The owners might want to check out the air conditioning unit that drips on the outside patio. I noticed the bamboo flooring inside looks like it is being damaged from water and has dark black areas which could be growing mold!!This could be a major Heath hazard if not checked.

Great location and view
Great location and great view from top floor of Waikiki Banyan. Property is a little dated and missing a few things, like hand soap and shower soap. Lots of appliances for cooking, cocktails, and coffee, so we were set! Would stay here again.

Great view and location but management issues
We’re not prima donnas and do not seek out problems, but we have complaints about our stay. The condo was clean, the neighborhood as expected, and the view beautiful. We enjoyed the lanai. The kitchen was equipped only minimally, but was sufficient for rudimentary food prep.
Our complaint comes from an aggregation of issues and the management’s response. The provided wifi name and password were incorrect. The electrical socket in the bathroom did not work and would not reset. Although we were expected to wash our cups, there was no dishrag. There was no soap for washing hands, so we used the body wash, which was watery and gushed out when the bottle was tipped. We lacked blankets: the master bed had only a decorative half-blanket across the bottom of the bed and although we reserved the place based on an occupancy of four, the pullout bed had no blanket at all.
We arrived late in the evening. When I called the management company in the morning, I discovered it is located in Portland, Oregon. The local management team did return my call within an hour, supplied the correct wifi information, and told me they would find supplies for us. But we never heard from them again. I haven’t even mentioned the less than proactive response to hearing about the wallet we found in the condominium.
