Fantastic apartment in a gorgeous city full of history

Superb panoramic sea views with lovely private terrace to enjoy. The modern fitted property has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. I went home with no dirty washing as the half hour quick wash was great and ample room to dry it outside in the sun. Beds were comfy and the air conditioning was superb, much needed in the 32• temperature. I’ll definitely be booking this again. Oh and make sure you get up to watch the sunrise, spectacular!

Dining room chair legs took a bit of getting used to as we all tripped over them or stubbed our toes. A small niggle in such a great apartment

great place to stay - just a couple of little improvements needed

location, amazing views from balcony, large fridge/freezer, comfortable bed in one room, check out arrangements, lift to top floor, character building, air conditioning, outside furniture

springs in bedroom (to left with back to the balcony) stuck up and made an uncomfortable night/need a chair in bedroom with blue bed, washing up sponge was used and unclean, no food-prep knives, corkscrew needs replacing, lacks large food/salad type bowl, blue bath mat needs replacing (stained). balcony walls are low given the drop - I would not recommend as a place for children.

Superb

Fantastic view to the city. The 180 degree panorama is amazing. Valetta city center and restaurants nearby.

Bathroom is under the level of the appartment.

Exceptional

Great location - close to everthing the Valletta has to offer, but very quiet and peaceful. Amazing view, spacious apartment. Welcoming and helpful staff. Great and very quick communication. Close to the ferry to Sliema. And just few minutes to a nice playground - if travelling with kids. :)

Amazing views and great location

The location was central to so much. The room was spacious. The shared bathroom was on the small side but workable. Views are to die for. I would rent this apartment again and would also recommend it.

Big apartment with lots of facilities. It was clean and well decorated, we loved our stay here and can highly recommend!

Great location in Valletta with easy walk to the restaurants and shops and ferry. Amazing View.

Not worth the money, cheaply furnished and dated

The location

We booked the penthouse with a private terrace to ensure it was quiet but upon arrival we found that there was a communal terrace on top of the apartment so we were disturbed early morning and evening by other guests. The access to the roof terrace is directly outside the penthouse apartment door and the stairs leading to the roof are covered with a cheap plastic cover that people don’t close when they leave. The property directly below the private terrace is being renovated and is in a derelict state so we also had noise from the work being carried out. Upon arrival we had some issues ie the patio & bedroom doors did not lock so the property was not secure and the front door keys were badly cut and did not operate properly and the front door had wedges stuck in the bottom to hold in place. The bathroom was dated and basic with poor light and rusty sink unit and pipes, mould around the shower, no where to put towels in the bathroom. A battery operated light above the mirror with no power but was intended clearly to be so you can see what you are doing in the mirror! The air conditioning in one room was not working properly. The owner did fix the door locks after initially saying “it was safe don’t worry” and the air con unit was fixed. The washing machine was plumbed in to the hot water supply so shrunk clothing as the correct temperature could not be set as the water was so hot. The property was overpriced and you are paying for the view as the rest of the property is equipped with cheap items, stained old tea towels that are so old they should be thrown out, kitchen draining board that was mouldy, rusty and dirty kitchen utensils, cracked cups in cupboard, only one large kitchen knife for cutting food, no batteries in the remote controls and thread bare duvet covers. One fay the boiler pump stopped working so no hot water and no shower.

Great panoramic views but unit needs maintenance and thorough cleaning.

Needs maintenance (paint, water damage, bathroom mold) and thorough cleaning. Simple suggestions from previous reviewers regarding hooks and/or table in bathroom are easy adjustments yet nothing has been done (2 years).

I recommend it 100 percent

Recommendable apartment, with a stunning view outside the window. The advantage of this place is also a large terrace. Everywhere from here close on my feet. There is also a parking lot nearby, where you can leave your car if you are lucky. Comfortable bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Easy and quick contact with the hosts is also worth emphasizing. They answered all messages very quickly and were very helpful.

Bathroom too small, no dishwasher.

Very disappointing. Expected much more.

The view was lovely and there was a convenient bus service.

Information about how to obtain the key needs to be made much clearer. Bathroom was too small and poorly equipped i.e no shelves or hooks to put anything on. Pillows were cheap and stained. Workmen we’re making a lot of noise for most of the week which is not pleasant when you are supposed to be having a relaxing holiday. No decent restaurants or shops within easy access. Other guests have access to the roof terrace which means your private balcony can be overlooked by other people. Not enough satellite channels on the TV. No welcome pack supplied - not even a bottle of water. No toaster or microwave.

Fabulous week, the best host and amazing views.

The location was excellent, close to centre, bus and ferry. The apartment had stunning views, air conditioning and comfortable beds. The host was very responsive to any request and super helpful. The best.

A super place to stay with a great view and good location.

The view from the apartment was exceptional. The location was ideal. The beds were comfortable.

Cleanliness was good, but not exceptional. The shower room was cramped in comparison with the spaciousness of the rest of the property.

Amazing penthouse apartment

The location was fantastic and the views over the coast and Sliema are unbelievable. The terraces are great for sitting out and taking in the scenery. Would highly recommend. Great for walking into Valletta centre.

We visited in Jan and heating in the apartment, especially in bathroom wasn’t up to it but minor gripe considering.
