Eine besonders herzliche Unterkunft!

wunderbare, sehr zentrale Lage, super freundliche Gastgeber, sind auf jeden Wunsch eingegangen und haben uns im letzen Moment noch ein Restaurant für Silvester besorgt, tolle Ausstattung der Unterkunft mit zwei wirklich großen Zimmern, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft jederzeit mit bestem Wissen weiter empfehlen! vielen Dank den beiden Gastgebern…!

Das Appartement ist perfekt für eine Reise als Paar oder mit Kleinkind. Preis-Leistung war unschlagbar!

Die Lage ist sehr gut und relativ ruhig, das Appartement war sehr sauber und ist gut ausgestattet. Für unseren Aufenthalt mit einem 1.5 Jährigen Kind war es auch dank des Beistellbettes super. Sehr viele sehr gute Restaurants, Cafes und Mini-Supermärkte in 1 bis 5 Minuten Laufweite. Ein perfektes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Dies sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten aber: - Die Straße ist für seine Lage verhältnismäßig ruhig aber die Fenster sind etwas hellhörig und wie überall in Valletta wird auch hier nebenan gebaut, weswegen mittags ein bisschen Baulärm zu hören war. - Scharniere der Fenster sind leider festgerostet, lassen sich daher nicht richtig öffnen oder ordentlich abschließen (Gefahr für Kinder) - Spülmittel für die Spülmaschine sollte gestellt werden - Für Kleinkinder wäre ein einfacher Hochstuhl noch sehr gut.

Eine perfekte Wohnung mitten in Valletta, sehr empfehlenswert

Die Lage, Ausstattung und vor allem die Betten waren super. In Wohnraum und Schlafzimmer je eine Klimaanlage. Die Vermieter haben alle Anfragen sofort beantwortet. Auch gab es von ihnen gute Informationen per Mail. Sehr aufmerksam war auch der zweite Satz Handtücher. Alles sehr sauber. WiFi sehr gut. Wohnung in einer sehr ruhigen Straße. Appartement 1 ist mit Zugang zur Dachterrasse.

We enjoyed our stay, the apartment was terrific! We did appreciate good working air conditioning and all the facilities inside such as hairdryer, washing machine, kettle, oven, etc. Our apartment was clean. Great and safe location.

Carmelita made our first Malta experience homely

Carmelita is very centralised which take you to most tourist attractions by foot in minutes. Shops and restaurants are also accessible. Nadine and Kenneth are also very helpful during the period of our stay. The apartment is cozy, homely and spacious. The beds are also comfortable. The beddings which we liked, made the bed so aesthetic and extra. It has touch of luxury and hotel grade thread count which helped us to have good sleep.

Our over all stay at Carmelita met our expectations. However, the aircondition/heater's filter might need changing and attention as there were dust coming out from it. It also come to our attention that the first aid box's contents are mostly expired- it's an occupational habit as we all work in healthcare. But haven't said that, it was so nice to include first aid box into your rental home- it's a first for us to see this in a rental accommodation. Well done and well thought 👏 👍

Great location, tipical Maltese house, it would be perfect for 2 people, we were 4 so the children slept in the living room on a couch but i knew that before, we were all day around outside so it didnt matter but this bed is better for younger children. The beds in bedroom were great. We mostly ate outside and didnt cook. The owners did some shopping for us (upon request) because we arrived late at night so we had enough food for breakfast on the first day and that was great.Communication with the host great, although we never saw each other:) We were on the first floor. There were also these steep stairways from our bedroom leading the roof terrace, really cute, although you may feel a bit dizzy once you come to the top:)

Incredible hospitality & Stylish stay at the heart of Valletta

The place was very stylish with retro elements and decorations for Christmas period. Super hospitality with panettone & bottle of cognac ❤️ We felt like at home after being met with such treats. Apartment had a lovely surprise - winding staircase to the rooftop terrace that we enjoyed a lot overseeing the roofs of Valletta.

Disappointing

address changed from 134 on booking confirmation to 135 in last moment (by email).

Pictures on booking information that you use to decide are a mix of two luxury flats and the simpler one we got. When we phoned about it on arrival (disappointed about the standard of the flat) we were told that we had received the correct pics. On closer examination that is true, but only after we had booked as a confirmation mail. Providing the correct information only as an afterthought is not satisfactory. The layout of the flat is unsuitable for elderly people, handicapped people and small kids. The wc is reached by two very, very tall steps, the shower makes everything wet as there is not a screen or curtain to contain the water ( and the space is very tight). Two of the rooms (the living rooms) are in the basement, (reached by steep steps), and the damp and the stink from the basement loo make that part of the flat unusable.

The location of Carmelita valletta is excellent, close enough to walk to city centre, sight seeing spots, restaurants and bars and bus station. Kenneth, the host was extremely helpful. The apartment was clean and a clean bundle of towels dropped off after 2 days, which was nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

My only gripes are that the steps from the bathroom are very steep and the shower is on the small side. It would be nice to have perhaps a small two seater sofa in the dining area and a smaller dining table, instead of a dining table which dominates the kitchen, seating four in an apartment which only caters for two.
