Situated in Daytona Beach Shores, this charming condo for $686 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The building had very little to no damage from the hurricanes. The pool is open! Everything is the same as before. Life is better at the beach! :) "Gary – we have checked in, and this place is great! Seems like you all (or whoever decorated) thought of a lot of things that people don’t always think of. Even fresh fruit and fresh flowers! The HUGE balcony (twice as large as the two bedroom units) of our condominium directly overlooks the NON-DRIVING beach. We greatly enjoy sitting on the balcony watching people walking on the beach and listening to the sound of the waves breaking. Sunrises from the balcony are breathtaking and if you are lucky enough to stay during a full moon, you will be in awe watching the moon reflect off the ocean while sitting on the balcony in the evenings. The Shores Club is a wonderful building with a number of full time residents. The way the building is designed, every condominium directly faces the beach plus has a view of the Intracoastal Waterway from the 'front' side. We vacationed here several times before deciding to buy this beautiful ocean front condominium. Located on the south-east corner of the 3rd floor, we were amazed how close this condo felt to the ocean! During high-tide you feel like you are sitting on the beach while still in the condo. It's low enough to see the waives break but high enough for amazing views. As a result, we knew the third floor was perfect for us! The facilities are well maintained and it is very safe with electronic locks on every outside door (including the gate to the beach) and secure covered parking. It has the usual amenities of a heated pool, an exercise room with a sauna and tennis, shuffleboard and basketball courts. But our favorite thing about the building is the location; it is located about 200 yards south of the cut-off point for driving on Daytona Beach. It makes it so nice to be able to walk on the beach right in front of the condominium without having to watch out for traffic. The Sunglow Pier is within easy walking distance (you can see it in the picture of the beach above) and has a restaurant right on the ocean, Crabby Joe’s. We’re about ¾ of a mile south of the Dunlawton bridge and about four miles north of the lighthouse at Ponce Inlet; it too can be seen from the condominium balcony. Starbucks is located about a mile from the condo. The Condominium has a large master bedroom with a king-size bed and sliding glass doors that access the balcony. With the glass doors and the large windows you have a great view of the ocean while lying in bed. (You will feel like the ocean comes up to your bed.) There is a private master bathroom with a vanity area and a huge walk-in closet. The master bedroom has a 40 inch flat screen TV. One guest bedroom has a king-size bed with a 32 inch flat screen TV. The second guest bedroom has two queen-size beds along with a 32 inch flat screen TV. There are private full baths for each of the guest bedrooms. And although the guest bedrooms are on the front side of the unit, there is a view of the Intracoastal waterway out their windows. High quality linens (minimum 400 thread count), pillows (each bed has special pillow for side and back sleepers) and towels are furnished for all bedrooms. I have also supplied hand soaps so you don't have to worry about it upon arrival. The living room has beautiful new, flooring, leather furniture; a sofa, loveseat (both with built-in recliners), and a very comfortable recliner. It has a new large 50 inch flat screen smart TV with a DVD player. There is also a fireplace in the living room. But of course the best feature of the living room is the view of the ocean out the windows and sliding doors! And being on the south-end of the building, in the winter there is lots of sunshine that comes in the side windows. The dining area was tiled as part of our renovations. It has beautiful wicker furniture including a table that seats six plus there is a bar between it and the kitchen that seats three. The kitchen has a tray ceiling and lovely tile - but its best feature is the great view of the ocean! The kitchen is fully furnished with cookware and dishware and is equipped with a new refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and coffeemaker. A new washer and dryer are located in the condo for your use. We offer a speedy check-out, a unique feature for our guests. You don't have to wash the linens or towels! This makes departures convenient and easy. Two high speed Wi-Fi connections are included. One has 5g and the other 2g. There is also Wi-Fi through-out the condo building and pool area. Water in the Refrigerator - After traveling all day I felt it important to have some bottled water in the refrigerator for you to enjoy upon arrival. We are non-smokers so we insist on No Smoking in our Condominium. However, for our guests who do smoke, smoking is allowed on the balcony. We have a family vacation every Christmas. This by far was the best condo we have ever stayed at. From the fresh cut fowers, fresh fruit bowl and a box of chocolates. It was the best stocked. More then one roll of toilet paper so you had time to get to store to coffee, sugar, even tea bags. The dishes and skillets were in great shape. Even a huge crock pot. I can not express how much we loved this place. If we stay in Daytona again we will come back here.

This apartment/condo had everything you need for a great beach vacation! It was literally just steps away from the white sand and the ocean. I was amazed at everything that was supplied. We arrived late evening and the fruit, water and chocolate was perfect after a long day of travelling. Each bathroom had more than expected...toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss...Beach towels, chairs and toys were also provided and so many other things, I was seriously impressed. The condo was absolutely beautifully decorated and clean, and the view was outstanding! If I wanted to watch the sunrise FROM MY PILLOW, I absolutely could. I would definitely recommend staying there. I only had to contact the owner one time and that was on our way out and heading to the airport. The door didn't lock when we were leaving, and I texted and he was thankful for letting him know. We had the most amazing time staying there and would love to go back at some point.

The condo was absolutely beautiful and clean! Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils needed for everyday living. Close to several stores and gas stations. We drove to Sea World, Universal Studios, and met some friends. Walked and ate at the Boondocks. Went to the light house and science museum. Loved walking on the beach and swimming in the ocean and the pool. The people were so friendly and welcoming. Gary was easy to get ahold of and answered questions quickly. An amazing stay, will return in the future.

This condo is as pictured, gorgeous view, beautiful inside. Loved sitting on the balcony, and if you’re in the master suite you don’t even have to get up to see the sunrise. The location was perfect for some great restaurants, and for things to do. Would stay here again. Also, when we arrived there were fresh flowers, cupcakes, chocolates, fresh fruit, and water in the fridge, that was great welcoming touch. Thank you!

You can tell it’s well taken care of and that the owner truly cares about his guest’s experience. We really enjoyed the property. It was absolutely beautiful really fit the six of us having our own bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of living space had a lot of accommodations and extras and we plan on staying there again. The owner had fresh flowers, a huge fruit basket, and water in the fridge for us which was awesome.

Have rented this unit several times over the years. Always clean, always comfortable, always cold water bottles, flowers and treats waiting to welcome us. Plenty of kitchenware, beach towels and beach toys, even bicycles and books. Games and puzzles for rainy evenings. The floor to ceiling views are spectacular. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

We finally made it back home. I've been waiting to get home to post a review. I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this property. I knew the photos looked great on VRBO, but that is an understatement! I was so concerned as I am handicapped and mobility is a major problem for me to be able to enjoy the ocean. Each day I was able to sit on the beautiful balcony with my husband and enjoy the ocean...the smell, the sound, the overall beauty! I was also concerned about being able to sleep and let my husband sleep. The recliners were so comfortable and enabled me to get up and down during the night without disturbing my husband. It was a wonderful five-night stay for our anniversary. Our grandson was able to stay with us one night, which was a joy! He loved it, too! Everything was perfect...from the fresh flowers, chocolates, and fresh fruits to the wall of windows in the living/dining rooms morning, noon, and night. Gary was so helpful and patient before we arrived. He made everything perfect. Thank you so much for a much needed respite. We will definitely be back!!

The good things first. Good location, good building, nice parking,, nice beach spot. When we arrived we were greeted with a fruit basket and a chocolate box; nice touch. The condo is in desperate need of upgrade. The kitchen cabinets have an awful smell and they are 80s style. The dishwasher had an awful stench and was filthy with g ats. The floors seem to have never been mopped. Ceiling fans do not have a switch to turn them off but have to be unplugged. Overall it is not a bad stay if you are not planning on using the kitchen.
