Authentic, newly renovated, beach house directly on the sugar white sands of the Gulf of Mexico in Gulf Shores, AL! Look no further for your perfect home away from home on the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Quiet, yet close to dining, shopping, and festivals. This spacious, comfortable beach home is waiting for you with its mesmerizing views and large relaxing deck. The name of this home is Cocoa's Cabana- all who visit know they are experiencing a well-deserved vacation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This house has added a 3rd bathroom! Bedroom layout as follows: King Bedroom with bathroom Queen Bedroom with bathroom King Bedroom shares a full hall bathroom Bunk Bedroom (2 twin over full bunks) *No guests under the age of 25 unless approved by Signature Properties. A driver's license must be uploaded and a Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement with Signature Properties must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Come see why memories are made here. The balance of the total amount is due on or before 90 days (house) or 60 days (condo) or 180 days (rentals more than 13 nights) from arrival. A 60 day notice (condos) or 90 day notice (houses) or 180 days (rentals for more than 13 nights) from arrival date is required for any cancellation to receive a refund of deposit. The $99 Reservation Fee is non-refundable and a Cancellation Fee of $100 will apply. If less than required notice is given, every effort will be made to re-rent the property. If we are unable to rent the property, no refunds will be due. If the property is re-rented at full rental rate, you will receive a refund less the Cancellation Fee and Non-Refundable Reservation Fee.

My family of 8 adults all stayed comfortably at Jus Piddlin! We originally booked another house back in December but got a call two months before our trip that it was cancelled due to a pipe burst. So this was the house available during our stay. It’s a prime location! Not too busy and a perfect view! I would say the thing this VRBO is missing is details. You have to bring EVERYTHING. No sugar, coffee filters, beach towels, charcoal, etc. No rugs or personal touches which makes sense because this is a company owned and not family owned. The downstairs bathroom has a bit of a bug problem but all beds and sheets were comfortable and clean. The fridge takes a long time to get cold enough to keep your items cold. We were nervous our milk and meat would go bad but after a couple days it got cold. I just think this VRBO could invest in a better fridge, rugs, better bath towels, and outdoor chairs that you can see the view when you sit outside. Overall we had a great time!

Once we requested a new hose to rinse off after coming back from the beach. The one that was originally there had multiple holes in it. They brought one over in a couple of hours.
The second call was more serious as the air conditioner stopped working and a whole new unit had to be installed. The owners had a repair person there within a few hours and the new unit was installed by the end of the day.
The pictures online make the house appear slightly larger than it actually was but I think that is the case with most Vrbo sites.
We did have to provide our own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and dish washing soap. It was a bit of a hike to the ocean due to having to climb a sand dune to get to the beach. But all in all we had a wonderful vacation. The back deck was a favorite of the kids.

Twenty something years ago my husband and I rented this house along with the first two grandchildren. Last July my husband was in the hospital having had heart valve replacement so while I was sitting in the room with him, I found the same house to rent in May of 2022. I call the grands and they took the time to take off work. We recreated some of the past pictures with todays pics and had the best time. We cooked at the house and went out to eat at the Colbalt which was expensive and not a good selection of fish.

The Cocoa Cobana beach house was exceptionally clean and tidy upon arrival. The door keypad was extremely easy to use. The online property listing was described very accurately. The property manager was very responsive. When a smoke detector battery needed replacing, maintenance arrived shortly after I notified the property manager. All the appliances as well as the Wi-Fi functioned properly. The bed was comfortable. The A/C functioned well. We had a totally unobstructed view of the ocean and beachfront. The ocean was just a few feet from our front door and deck. The beach house and beach location were ideal and very quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and spent a lot of time on the deck as well as the beach. The property surpassed our expectations, and we plan to return, hopefully to the same property.

The location was very nice: close to shopping and restaurants, but it was still quiet and not crowded. We all enjoyed sitting on the deck at night looking at the sky and hearing the waves while we visited with family. The kids enjoyed playing in the sand and the water and looking for sea shell. Also, some of us saw a large group of stingrays right near the shore. Enjoyed nearby restaurants and a dolphin cruise.

This was our second stay at Cocoa Cabana. We enjoyed it so much the first time last year, we decided to come back again for family vacation 2021. The house has been newly renovated. We enjoyed the extra full bath giving the house 3 master suites. The only downside was that there was zero storage in the newly renovated master bath. Hopefully in the off season, they can make some changes there. I had to keep everything for the bathroom on top of the dresser in the bedroom, or hanging on the back on the bathroom door. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming again next year.

The location of the property couldn't be better - it's located between public beach access points so the beach was relatively quiet. Great views from the deck and we sat out there every night. Some parts of the house have been renovated and are very nice. Each room was decorated nicely. Well stocked kitchen with anything you need for cooking. Lots of beach toys on the property. We would stay here again in a heart beat if we go back to Gulf Shores.
Only thing I would note is like other reviewers, the top part of the deck needs to be replaced and is uneven with nails sticking out. There's a board sticking up right next to the dining table that several of our family members kept tripping on. The top deck railing has large gaps that my 2yr old almost fell through and kept trying to climb through. The new part of the deck has better spacing of rails and is safer. Not sure why they didn't fix the old deck when the lower part was replaced.
It would be great if they could get a gas grill on the top deck like the surrounding houses. The charcoal grill is in the car port and was not in great condition. Cocoa's Cabana is a great property. It was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well-stocked with plates, glasses, cookware, etc. We just have two suggestions: a pair of scissors for hard-to-open packages from the store and a working vacuum or electric broom for sweeping up sand. The one provided spit out more sand than it picked up. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and we would definitely rent this property again!
