Our friends and family had an awesome time here. The outdoor space was beautiful and the indoor living space and great spots for playing games, cooking dinner, reading, and hanging out — we could all be together while enjoying different activities. Highly recommend!

Fabulous outdoor space and plenty of variety inside too. Our family gathering of 13 were comfortable and the walk to the beach was short and easy, and Coligny Plaza offers plenty to do when not relaxing in the yard or on the beach

The pool was nice. The kids loved it. Ages 3 to 10. When all 15 of us were in the pool it was a little small. The pool got cloudy on us a couple of times so I think it needs more attention when the heat index is over 100 and the pool is seeing a lot of use. Most of the mattresses have seen their better days. Could use some updating there. The bathrooms were very functional and that is always a plus. The short, less than 5 minute walk to the beach, was a huge plus! The water filter in the refrigerator needed replacing while we were there and it took a couple of days to order it and get it replaced. We had to buy some extra bottled water as a result. You might want to order some extra water filters so that they are on hand when needed. We had a couple of TV''s that we could not use in the bedrooms as there were apparent issues with Spectrum.

Perfect house
This house was perfect for our family. The 6 bedrooms and 6 baths gave our group plenty of space and privacy. We loved the outdoor space also, it was like having our own little park. Also the kids had a lot of fun with the pool table. The management company handled any problem quickly and efficiently. They were good communicators. I would rent from this company again.

To start I was never sent my door code to get into the house. I had to pull over on the way there trying to get someone on the phone to get the door code which took a while because you can't just call the office directly, you have to call a customer service line that sends messages to the office and they didn't always call me back. Once we got to the house, everything was fine until we got upstairs to the king en-suite to find the tub taped over with a note that we couldn't use it. The pool was full of leaves and the skimmer and skimmer pole that is provided does not fit together to skim the pool. We were told the pool company would come to give us a skimmer and vaccuum the pool and spa but that never happened. The hot tub does not get hot at all even in spa mode. The pool is warmer than the hot tub. The next night it rained and the ceiling started leaking water onto the dining room table splashing onto the floor and chairs (one of which has a broken leg). The couches are denim and are very worn. The coffee table had a broken leg which made the table fall on someone's toe. The refrigerator is small for a house that sleeps 21 people and doesn't even open enough for the drawers to be opened because its against the wall and opens half way. The tile in the upstairs king suite bathroom is cracked, the smoke detector downstairs between the 2 bedrooms that are downstairs kept going off in the middle of the night, only half the TV's even work, the internet is fast enough to stream anything, the sliding glass door in t he living room going put back is very hard to open because the door isn't being maintained, there were items from previous guests found which brings to question how well they are cleaning the house if they're missing items left behind such as a child shoe that was found. There is only one grill instead of 2 and it was so rusted we couldn't get it to cook anything all the way through because it wouldn't stay hot enough, and the back deck above the grill has loose boards that one of my kids almost put her foot through. In all, it was not worth the amount of money we had to pay for our stay and we will not be coming back.

The property was exactly as it was shown in the pictures on the website!! We got there the key code worked, there were plenty of towels a nice starter kit !!! The house made our holiday !! We could not have been more pleased!!

Nice location
Great location..very close to the beach and shops. Clean house..slightly outdated. Pool is very small. I wish instructions on how to use the hot tub and pool could have been provided. We only learned how to use both from the pool man that came to service the pool. Communication with rental company is very difficult as no one answers the phone. Roof leaked after it rained.

Weekend Getaway
The property is great for a large group. Plenty of sleeping space and is in a fantastic location. The property condition could use some work as we experienced leaky ceilings during rain. Overall, a great time and would recommend despite some needed tlc.

The pictures show exactly how the house is, just keep in mind that real estate photographers use a wide angle lens. So will look slightly bigger than it actually is, especially the pool. The pool is nice to cool off, though not big enough for swimming. The jacuzzi style part is nice. The kitchen is well stocked with adequate vessels. Everything was cleaned properly, the linen was clean.
It was perfect size for our group of 3 families (6 adults, 5 kids). Though there are 6 bedrooms, the common gathering area is only big enough for 3-4 families.
The sofa in living room needs an upgrade. The cue sticks for the pool table all had broken tips, which was a real bummer. Reported to property manager, but she couldn't find a replacement locally. The toaster was dirty, which was replaced with a new one. The grill was overall neat with a spare propane tank, but we did one more round of cleaning to get it to our satisfaction before using. Everything else was in good condition. The main TV in the living room is not a smart tv, so you may want to bring a laptop and hdmi cable for movie night.
Had mixed feelings about the property management. Did not receive any phone calls or emails from property manager prior to check-in. The guest portal said it will be populated with the check-in codes on the day of check-in, but it did not. Was very difficult to get anyone on the phone, probably because agents might be working remotely due to COVID. The code that was finally emailed had a typo and did not work. Was waiting at the front door for 15 mins waiting to get someone on the phone. After check-in the property manager connected through txt messages and was very prompt. Would have been nice if the connect was made prior to check-in.
The location is awesome, just two mins walk from the beach. And it is bit away from the public access part of the beach, so pretty quiet.
Overall, the stay was a very nice experience and would definitely recommend this place. The minor glitches mentioned are for the attention of property management to improve.

Island Oasis Review
We love Hilton Head and have stayed at many rentals over the past 15 years. The pros for this property is it was large for our group of 11 adults and its very close proximity to the beach. The cons are that is a bit outdated and the furniture (patio, grill and some furniture inside) is worn down and should be updated.
We had an issue with the door code when we arrived and 5 star was able to rectify it quickly. We also had other issues with cookware, supplies, hose, TV operation and the grill but 5 star reacted quickly and we were very pleased with their prompt response. All in all, we had a great time at the Island Oasis. You can't beat the location (unless you rent on the beach) but after a 2 minute walk East - you're on the beach!.

Last minute beach vaca
This property was a nice getaway for a last minute trip. The location is great! 5 houses from beach and 3-4 blocks from shops and restaurants. The overall layout worked well for two families with 4 teens and one preteen. The furniture in the living areas could use updating; couches and dining chairs especially. The pool is much smaller than it appears in the pictures so it was a little tight for our group. Besides these issues the place worked well & we will definitely be back to Hilton Head Island.

We loved this property and were very thankful for Five Star properties. They were very responsive to all the issues we experienced. This home is in a wonderful location but the home itself could certainly use some updating. The property manger was very helpful and worked with us on everything. I would definitely stay at this property again with Five Star properties.

You MUST rent this home!
This property went above and beyond our expectations. The house is huge and the backyard was a gorgeous oasis. Just a 2 min walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to shops and icecream. It was the perfect getaway for our family!

great location, great lay-out, but house is in bad shape
This house seemed to be in very bad shape (it smelled bad, it did not seem clean at all, and the furniture was very worn). Also, the beds/pillows very uncomfortable. The property managers were very unresponsive as well. However, the house has a great layout and the location was excellent.

Close to beach, Coligny
We were a group of 17, 6 of which were kids ranging from 9-16 years old. There was ample space in terms of beds/ lounging areas to accommodate all our needs and options for sleeping arrangements.
We loved that the teenagers could easily walk down to the Coligny shopping area and that the beach was an easy 2 blocks away. The beach itself was never crowded in our area. However, we assumed it was jellyfish that stung my son twice and another family member as well. Luckily the lifeguard stand has a vinegar solution to take away the sting. We also spotted a small stingray in the waters without incidence. Biking on the trails and beach was an enjoyable experience for our family and many companies will deliver bikes upon your arrival. Many of our family members enjoyed playing pool and we all took advantage of the swimming pool/hot tub, even making good use of the fire pit to make s’mores.
Most of the beds were comfortable, and ample pillows and towels provided. We appreciated the starter sets of toiletries in each of the 6 bathrooms. No need to bring hairdryers (or lobster pots, blenders, crock pots, irons) as they were provided.
The negatives were the 2 bunk bed frames were somewhat loose and shaky despite the management company being called to repair. The pool was smaller than depicted in the photos. The vacuum cleaner wasn’t working but luckily we brought our own broom based off the recommendations of other reviews.
We highly recommend this house and will even consider staying here again if we travel with this large group.
