Located in Cooper Landing, this lovely house for $699 per night is a great choice for your next break. - Private, one level, lake front ranch style house - Quiet location away from the crowds - Two cozy, private bedrooms - Two newly updated bathrooms - Fully-equipped kitchen - 1 cabin (Cranberry Cabin) sleeps 2 and is available for an additional $51.50 per night. - Propane and charcoal BBQ - Washer and dryer Our Master Suite has a king size bed, sitting area, Smart TV with DVD/Blue Ray player, a collection of DVDs, and and an ensuite bathroom. Wake-up to a glorious view of Kenai Lake! The additional bedroom has one queen bed and one full bed and access to the second bathroom. There is also a separate cabin available that sleeps 2 people with a queen size bed. The cabin has electricity, no running water, and a lake and mountain view.

We loved our stay at Sylve's Kenai Lake House. The location was a great central spot to tour the Kenai Peninsula. We were able to visit Homer, Whittier, Seward, and Alyeska. It was an easy drive from Anchorage. The cabin itself was well stocked, comfortable, and Sylve's cookies were great. One thing we loved about the cabin was it's easy access for my 82 year old mother. Sylve was great to work with and very flexible. The views were amazing and we loved watching the first snow hit the mountains.

This was the first of 3 houses we stayed at while in Alaska and by far the best. It was spacious, very clean, and the host, Sylve communicated quickly with any questions and even graciously when we locked ourselves out at 10pm.
The location of this home is phenomenal and everything you would need is available. I would love to stay here again someday and would highly recommend it. Thank you for sharing this gem in the woods!

The property was wonderful and just as advertised. The house and location are beautiful. We had a fire on the beach, the sunroom was a great place to relax and read and Cooper Landing is a beautiful area. Sylve was a great host and responded to my questions quickly. We all want to come stay again and stay longer. Definitely a five star vacation.

We three couples enjoyed our stay! The home is conveniently located near everything we had planned…floating, fishing and hiking! My hubs and I stayed in the cranberry cabin and it was was nice to have our room! The home was clean and the instructions were clear. communication was excellent. Totally recommend!!!

We LOVED our time at this adorable and charming cabin! It felt like home the second we walked in and were greeted by a sweet note from Sylve and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! The beach access is incredible and the views are breathtaking. This cabin had everything we needed and more - we really enjoyed playing CD's from the eclectic collection too. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with our family!

We were at Kenai Lake House for a week and it was perfect for our wants & needs. Beautiful setting on the lake with awesome views. We could have had better weather (cold and rainy) but we made the best of it. Amenities were plentiful and the space was more than we expected. To top it off, Sylve left us homemade cookies; yum. Thanks for sharing your space; we loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay on Kenai Lake in this charming home. The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking. There is plenty of space and everything we needed was provided. Very quiet and private with a fire pit and seating on the beach. Highly recommend.

Sylvie was a great host, the property was as described and we will be coming back again. I’ve stayed in Cooper landing before and it always better with a amazing view, comfortable place to stay and the freedom to do what you want, when you want. We would highly recommend staying here and if you are on the fence, just go for it. You will not be disappointed. Sylvia’s welcome packet is very detailed and we are not used to the thoroughness so we actually missed it for the entire first day. It was right under our noses. We are used to a text and that is it. Thank you Sylvie!

What an amazing lake house. The accommodations were perfect for the four of us. Sylve left fresh baked cookies and the house was clean and comfortable. What makes this place so special is the location, right on Lake Kenai with unbelievable views. We were able to take morning kayak trips on the lake and enjoy an evening campfire. It’s centrally located for fishing, hiking and sightseeing. Couldn’t ask for a better place. Thanks Sylve for sharing your place!

The house was absolutely perfect for our 9-day stay in the Kenai area. My husband fished the rivers and the girls hiked everywhere from Byron Glacier in Portage to the Tonsina trail in Seward to the Kenai River and Hidden Lake to the beach in Kenai. The house was so well located for our adventures! We loved walking the beach in the backyard looking for heart stones in the evenings and enjoyed having a campfire right on the lakeshore. The house was loaded with supplies and was so well stocked!! Loved the homemade cookies Sylve made upon our arrival. We even saw a bear amble across the yard early one morning. Perfect house—perfect stay!! Thank you so much!!

Sylve,, the host, really thought of everything we were left wanting for nothing as the property is astoundingly beautiful. It was a great stay for the six of us to stay in for a few days.
She even left us a jar of fresh home made chocolate chip cookies which were amazing!

Staying at the Kenai Lake House was the perfect way to end our trip to Alaska! Amazing property!
My family and I had the most amazing stay at the Kenai Lake House. The cabin was clean and well stocked for all of our needs. The view is spectacular and the fact that you can walk straight out to the water was so convenient. We spent a lot of time at the lake, fishing, watching the float planes land, and just relaxing by the water. Sylve was a pleasure to deal with and even baked us cookies. Yummy! I wish we could have stayed longer. This was a trip my family will never forget.

This cottage on Kenai lake was amazing. Super clean,well cared for. Stocked with everything you need. Calm relaxing place. Amazing views. Sat on the beach by campfire watching Dall sheep/mountain goats through binoculars. Owners are the best

Excellent experience with stunning lake access. The home comes stocked with a good variety of cooking essentials and an unusually generous amount of food in case you need a meal or even half a dozen in a pinch. The home is chocked full of items to make your stay comfortable. The master bedroom has one of the most comfortable beds ever. Having a fire by the water is a must. The owner cares about this place and it shows.
The only negative things I can say are 1) ancient speaker system in the main room that has no inputs for external sources (so you're stuck listening to radio or cd's), and 2) the host does not allow use of the inside fireplace. I wish the latter had been made explicit in the property description; we had hoped to use it on a few days when it was dreary outside after seeing pictures of it in the listing. Minor qualms for the quality of the experience.
