Nestled in Cooper Landing, this charming house for $777 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Our private 2700 sq ft waterfront home is located at the end of the road in Cooper Landing, Alaska. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it offers a spacious and comfortable retreat. Situated on the low-bank side of the river, just below the Kenai River Princess Lodge and upstream from the Upper Kenai River rapids, our location is ideal for fishing enthusiasts. Our 400 yd. long gravel bar, a favorite spot for guides targeting Rainbow Trout, is easily accessible for wading. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, a luxurious private bath, a sitting area, a balcony, and stunning mountain views. Both queen-sized bedrooms offer beautiful river views. Downstairs, there is a bunk room, and the upstairs game room features two double-sized futons. A full-sized washer and dryer are available for your convenience. The granite kitchen is equipped with full-sized appliances and everything you need to prepare gourmet meals. Additionally, we provide a full-sized freezer in the garage for storing your catch, and a fish cleaning table with water is conveniently located by the riverside. We even offer a Food Saver vacuum packer—just bring your bags. For bug-free outdoor dining, we have a screened-in gazebo with a table and chairs, and there's also a picnic table by the river. With the Kenai-Russian River confluence just minutes away and excellent fishing right in your own private backyard, you'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. Furthermore, our house is perfectly positioned for day trips to the surrounding towns of Homer, Seward, Hope, Kenai, and Soldotna, allowing you to explore the area and discover even more attractions and activities.

I am hesitant to share how awesome this place is because I want to keep it to myself. It couldn't have been more perfect for our family of 6. Mike did an amazing job making sure we were welcomed and had everything we needed.

Everyone loved the house and the fishing access. Michael and Breezie were so easy to work with. They gave us fishing information and shared tips about what to use and where to go on the river. We also stayed in Homer, Palmer and Anchorage but everyone agreed the Cooper Landing house was the best!

Wonderful house situated on the beautiful Kenai River. This home accommodated our large group comfortably and provides all the necessities needed to have an enjoyable stay. We are repeat guest that would highly recommend this house. Communication with the property owners is great.

Location location location. Right on the Kenai. Can’t be beat. Fully equipped kitchen, newly renovated bathrooms, large and lovely master suite. Good for families, groups, long stays. We will be back.

From booking to arrival to departure the adventure was awesome! The home was a perfect for the 6 adults and one 17 yr old to celebrate anniversaries by fishing for Reds and Silvers on the Russian And Kenai Rivers. We ventured out to Solditna and Homer as well and the home location was perfectly placed to allow easy trips. Loved all the appliances and staples stocked and utilized the garage to on and offload all fishing gear. Our family even talked about renting on a yearly basis because of all the attributes as well as the great communication with Michael (location property manager)! Highly recommended!! Just don’t take our dates in the future!

This is truly a beautiful property. The house is well equipped with everything from cooking and eating utensils to fishing gear. The hosts were especially accommodating. When we found our motel closed up for Covid protocols, they saved us from the streets of Anchorage by allowing us to start our stay a night early for which we wiIll be forever thankful. Cooper's Landing is a spectacular place and a great gathering place for friends and family. We couldn't have picked a better location.

We loved our time here. The setting is gorgeous, the house is clean and well-equipped, and the homeowners left a fabulous basket of drinks and goodies that our kids in particular enjoyed working through during our stay. Highly recommended!

My family and I had an amazing stay during our trip. The gorgeous Kenai River is only steps away as soon as you head out to the backyard. Lots of space, clean, and comfortable. They even had fishing rods ready to go for us! The beauty of Cooperlanding felt like a dream. We would love to stay at this cabin again!

We stayed in 3 different houses on our recent Alaska trip and this was my family's favorite! Had everything we needed, kitchen well stocked and view of river so relaxing! Loved having a fish cleaning table out back cause we caught lots of fish! Owners were so nice, will definitely return!!

We really enjoyed staying here right on the river! We felt we had privacy even though there are neighbors because of the size of the property. Each day we had outings planned to Homer, Seward, Whittier, and Anchorage to see all the beautiful sights! The owners were very helpful sending us tips and recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Thanks for being such great hosts, Rick and Karol!

All the comforts of home

I absolutely loved this home. Steps away form the Kenai River on the highway to Homer it is roomy, and comfortably furnished with everything you need to enjoy exploring the wondrous beauties of the Kenai Peninsula. There are restaurants nearby and numerous opportunities to get away from civilization and explore the wilds of the Peninsula. We went hiking up the Harding Ice Field Trail and also to the Russian River where we thoroughly enjoyed watching the salmon climb up the falls. Rick and his wife are excellent to work with and their team on the ground was great. They gave excellent directions, were accessible for questions, and made good recommendations when we were thinking through choices. I will note that it is not as secluded as I expected. It is not like a Philadelphia suburb, but there were other homes nearby, which I had not expected. Even with that, this is an outstanding place to stay and I highly recommend it.

This place is a treasure! I couldn't make up my mind which views were more spectacular, the one looking out the front at a jagged mountain peak or the one looking out the back at the Kenai river. The location of this property is outstanding. While I was still unpacking, I watched someone catch a rainbow trout a few feet from the shoreline. I was able to match that feat from the bank of the property which was loads of fun. It is easy to get to the Russian River (5 minutes or so) which is great for sockeye fishing. The house itself has a spectacular master bedroom with private sitting area, bath, and balcony. It can be bright in the summer, so pack some eye-shades to sleep at night. The two other bedrooms upstairs are nice and you can open a window and hear the river which is great sleep therapy. The downstairs bedroom is small and only has room for a bunk-bed. We didn't use it but I think it is probably suited for kids more than full-sized adults. The kitchen is well-stocked and the furniture is all clean and comfortable. The satellite for the TV was out while we were there, but I didn't care. Watching TV would have been sacrilegious when nature in all its glory was all around you. The wireless was great though as we could easily Facetime friends and family and brag about the day's catch. The house is not new, and there are places where I wish there were more or bigger windows to expose the views. But that doesn't matter much because it was easy enough to just go outside. I think I ate every meal in the gazebo which was always free of mosquitoes. There are two large freezers in the garage to deep freeze your catch so you can bring it home. The owner, Rick, is friendly and easy to deal with and the on-site property care-taker is likewise and she checked in on us a couple times. Overall, this was a great VRBO experience and I will definitely reuse in any future fishing trips to the Kenai.

my son, nephew, brother in law and myself rented this home for a week in mid september of 2012 as a base while fishing with alaska river adventures guide service. the home is large and everyone had their own bedroom. we did not have to take as many clothes with us because there was a washer and dryer on location. the view is great and the place is secluded and on the river. we spent most of our time in the evenings enjoying the use of the kitchen and family room with the fireplace blazing. the owner was easy to talk to and gave me tips on what to expect and where to do while there.
