Great apartment in the heart of the city

Good space for the 3 of us to be able to spread out and get our gear sorted for our hike across Iceland. The kitchen and living room were a great place to relax

Pleasant stay in Reykjavik!

location was great. easy walking around and to restaurants. Everyone in my family of 5 had a bed to sleep in.

parking was a bit tough. On our first night, we lucked out with a parking spot right out front but on the second, had to drive a while to find a spot. Bathroom is such that only one person can be in there… when showering, the floor is all shared so it will get a bit wet. That being said, the setup worked fine for our family of 5.

A flat with walking distance to all the main sights in Reykjavik

It is a fairly basic flat on the bottom floor, centrally located but still on a very quiet street. Parking is available for free in the street, but you might have to bee lucky to find a space. We were lucky every day of our stay. It is enough space for a family of four adults, although more hooks, shelves etc are needed, as there is nowhere to put your wet towels or damp clothes after a day in the Icelandic rain. The beds were comfortable and supermarkets are close by. Contacts with the host were flawless, as was the checking in and out with the key in the key box.

More hooks and shelves are needed and some more spoons etc. It would also be nice with some bins under the sink for sorting the plastic - and paperwaste. Minor details and easy to fix.

Very NOISY, felt unsafe, scary man upstairs.

In a keysafe on the front door. They gave us the code a few days before, very easy. I asked if they could send me a message when it was ready for us to check in. I said I wouldn't have my phone and gave them my husband s number to use but they didn't so I didn't get this message until after our holiday. It's quite clean. Strange door next to shower that opens to where all the rubbish bins are kept and the neighbours front door. It says toiletries are provided but its only shampoo and left over hand wash in the bottom of a container. Bring your own. Beds are quite comfortable.

Very very noisy. We chose this place as it s on a quiet street away from the noise but unfortunately the man who lives upstairs played music 90% of the time we were there..loud music with the base booming through every room till late at night so we couldn't sleep. The 1st evening we were eating dinner watching TV and the man from upstairs stood laughing outside our window behind the sofa for ages..manic laughing continually..about 1 meter from our window. We were frightened and nearly left. It was like something from a horror film. We didn't feel safe. Then the music started up so we couldn't watch TV. We booked an apartment instead of a hotel so we could eat in and cook but because of the man upstairs we couldn't stay in and relax so had to go out and walk in the freezing cold just to get a break from the noise...we are exhausted..it was very stressful. The apartment is basic but fine. It's very hot...too hot even with all the windows open we were too hot. It has underfloor heating which we couldn't turn down or off. The apartment itself is fine but based on our stay due to the noisy disturbing and frightening neighbour upstairs it is not habitable and sadly ruined our holiday. We couldn't wait to leave it and am very relieved to be home.

Simply Great

This apartment has a perfect location to visit Reykjavik by feet. Close to Hallgrimskirkja and streets of the center, but in a total calm quarter. We stayed here twice a couple of days, arriving and leaving Iceland. The contacts were quick and very nice, efficient and very cool. The apartment is very well equipped, very clean, very comfortable, and we are welcomed with all the products for the bathroom. No problem parking the car on the street. Simply great !

Perfect place to stay for a city break

Excellent location, on a quiet street just by Hallgrímskirkja church. Easy access to everything in Reykjavik. Very comfortable beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Lovely and warm, nice and clean.

Very close to downtown. Everything within walking distance. Clean and comfortable.

No paper towels and I would have liked to have been told where to put the trash when it got full. Need another mirror in 1 of the bedrooms. Parking was tough.

A bit small for a 5-ppl housing.

Iceland is amazing and the apartment is in a good location near major bus hub and church.

Beds need replacing and couch is grubby. Disappointed to find that the advertised self contained apartment had no washing facilities.
