Exceptional

The hotel is convenientely located close to a beautiful beach and very good restaurants. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room were clean and cosy. Tasty breakfast with a variety of sweets. I highly recommend this hotel!

Decent beach vacation, but Island of Ischia is not a paradise.......

Hotel is really a few steps from the beach, but this is about it. The beach is the only entertainment that can be found nearby. To get to the center of the town called Forio you'll have to walk about 20 minutes along the road. This part of the road is not covered by regular buses, so only 2 smaller buses are running and unfortunately you'll have to wait for them 30 minutes on average (usually under the hot sun during the day). Poseidon Gardens are also about 20 minutes on foot from the hotel. The bus stop for the main bus routes is 10 minutes away or you'll need to get to the town of Forio and catch a bus there. If you are planning to explore the island I would recommend to stay elsewhere, closer to main bus routes. If you are looking for quiet and peaceful vacation on the beach this place will do. There is a restaurant and a cafe also a few steps from the hotel, however the restaurant is only open for dinner 2 days a week (Friday and Saturday), all other days they close by 8 pm (kitchen closes earlier, but you can still grab a pizza to go). I wish I knew all these details before I booked this hotel, so hopefully this information will be helpful to others.

Hotel is small and nice, quite clean, but sea view is somewhat obstructed by the restaurant buildings under it and the hills on both sides (we had a much better sea view at our previous hotel, where it was advertised as partial sea view compared to this direct sea view, which we paid extra $$). Breakfast is very basic - some fruit, coffee, juice, bread, 2 types of meat and 1 type of cheese, some pastries, hard boiled eggs. That's it. We were offered omlet or other type of made to order eggs the first day, but no single time after that. No other hot food for breakfast was offered. Overall Island of Ischia is not a paradise one would expect, so maybe this impacted the impression of the hotel as well. Please be careful with scooters - it is tempting to rent one since transportation is limited, but people unfortunately get into pretty bad accidents on those resulting in hospitalizations with life threatening conditions.

Amazing hosts

Teresa and Mario were fabulous hosts, so helpful and accommodating. You can really feel that they care about their guests and want them to have the best time. The view from the property, the beach only a minute away from your room, the delicious restaurant next door are things we enjoyed while we stayed there as well as the breakfast Nd lovely terrace.

Authentic Italian beach hotel with exceptional staff.

We are an American family of four who wanted an authentic Italian beach vacation. I hesitated in booking this hotel because there is no pool but, as the beach was so close, the reviews so good, and the price so reasonable, we booked it. I'm so glad we did! The location is great - the beach is a fantastic cove for kids to play in and you can easily walk to Poseidon Thermal Gardens for pools, and Forio for shops. There are auto, scooter, and bike rentals very close. We stayed four nights and it was the most relaxed we've felt in a long time. The staff is exceptional - very accommodating and attentive. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable.

The nearby beach has a lot of trash and needs a beach clean up day or even some trash cans for people to throw things away. It would also be nice to have access to a pool.

Amazing atmosphere and price.

Amazing hotel and great value for money, Mario was so helpful. He organised a takeaway for us personally one night it was raining and did everything he could to help us enjoy our stay.

Only thing is for anyone with mobility issues there are alot of steps down to the hotel was fine for us.

Relaxing getaway

We loved the hospitality of Teresa and Maurizio, the amazing breakfast, the proximity to the beautiful Spiaggia di Cava dell'Isola. I absolutely recommend staying here when visiting Ischia. We will definitely be back!

The view was absolutely beautiful. I loved how it was right there in the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also fell in love with the hotel cat!

The Hill! It was fine for me, but it was very hard for my mother to walk up it. i suggest maybe getting a golf cart to drive up the hill for the elderly when they need it

Relaxing and well-located hotel with immediate access to beautiful beach.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with nice views and just a stone's throw from the beautiful local beach. Reasonably easy walking access to Forio town and easy access to lots of local amenities and good restaurants. Our room was quiet and perfectly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Probably more suitable for young people and couples, as the hotel might be difficult to access for buggies and elderly people on account of steep hill and steps.

The place is really comfortable and clean. The location amazing, 2 stapes from the beach and 15-20 min walking from the center of Forio and Termal center Poseidon. The Staff is so helpful. Teresa has been exceptional. Thanks for making our vacation unforgettable.

Superb

Amazing location. Hotel situated just a few steps away from the beach. Quiet and nice place. Very friendly stuff that will gladly help with any questions. We stayed in a standart room. There's enough space for three people. Beds are nice, big and comfy. You won't have a sea view, as there is a glass fence, but on the other hand it decreases the sun heat. Room is fully equipped with everything you need. Additionally we were provided with umbrella and towels for the beach. Very nice restaurant just next to the hotel (one of the best on the island in my opinion). But the nearest shop is in 15 min walking distance. You will need to climb into the hill (or 60 steps ladder) to get to the road but you can rent a scooter in the hotel. Breakfast is nice and tasty (fantastic coffee and home-made pastries) It might be not very various though. Teresa helped us with ferry and bus tickets and provide a nice welcome treat. Thank you for the perfect vacation!

Air conditioning. It doesn't help much, so at night it was really hot and humid. Smell. Not sure was it coming from air conditioner or sewage. But it was necessary to air the room twice a day. Few cobwebs behind the lights but overall room was clean. Ants. Probably it's because the room is on the ground floor. But we had to use repellent few times and avoid eating anything in or near the room.

Fantastic stay with wonderful hospitality

Teresa met us at the port with a big smile and made us immediately feel welcome to the island of Ischia! It is a quick ride to the hotel which is steps from one of the best beaches on the island. Mario is also a rockstar! He helped us with everything from dinner reservations at local restaurants, making excellent drinks, to providing us with extra glasses, guiding us to the best places, and just making us feel very welcome. We loved getting up for a quick morning dip in the ocean before breakfast! The room was simple and clean with many thoughtful amenities. Our room included a desk, mini- fridge, wardrobe/Closet with a safe, a wonderful shower with great water pressure, cool air conditioning and strong internet. We had our own table and chairs outside the room and there were plenty of lounge chairs overlooking the beach. The hotel also provides a beach umbrella too. We had a fantastic stay that was better than expected because of warm hospitality from Teresa and Mario.

lovely beachfront hotel with welcoming staff

Lovely beach front hotel close to Forio with wonderful and caring staff! ask for a beach front room, so you can enjoy the view and cool breezes. the room and property is supper clean. there’s an excellent lunch restaurant right near the hotel, and it’s within easy walking distance into town. Very good breakfast! and there’s a bar open for aperitivi at 5 pm.

NOT for people with bad knees...the steps up to the road are VERY STEEP.

Teresa, her husband Maurizio and the waiter (whose name I can't remember) were so nice and so welcoming, and did everything they could to make my stay pleasant.

Nice beech hotel

The hotel's access to beach was really fantastic Also a bar and restaurant just outside of the hotel was very practical. Host Teresa was awesome and very kind picking us up from the port, when we arrived. Also breakfast for the hotels in Italy are much poorer. This one had salty plate with cheese and cold cuts and sweet pastries + fruits.

The hotel was pretty expensive and though we paid the best of the available rooms it was still tiny and definitely needs some renovation. The air conditioning was working, but properly only on one side of the room. So we had to switch it off and open the doors and hope a nice breeze would come in. For 160 EUR you just have higher expectations.

A wonderful hotel!

A truly wonderful place! If you want a warm welcome in a spectacular place in Ischia, this is the place for you! The place is owned and operated by a wonderful family. They will greet you by your name and make you feel like a VIP during your stay. They are very helpful and go the extra mile for you without any fuss. The place is truly spectacular with multiple levels in the hill that let you enjoy the view of the sea at your (included) breakfast and the sunset at night (one of the advantages of being on Ischia’s west coast). The public beach is just a few steps down and let you mingle with the friendly locals. The rooms are very quiet and let you have a good night sleep. A remarkable hotel at a great price!
