Beautiful grounds with an incredible garden where a lot of the local vegetables and herbs are grown. Amazing to look over this while you have your meals. Their breakfast is everything you need and all in a lovely setting. The pool is great and it never felt busy or noisy.
Max and his brother Mauro also went above and beyond to help us with organising a babysitter as we were visiting for a wedding. Their lovely cousin helped look after our 9 month old and she was very happy. Max was also very helpful and communicative and organized for our taxi to pick us up from the ferry. It's a few minutes walk to the main road but very easy to get taxis from.
After the second night we seemed to receive some coldness for an unknown reason, that continued for the rest of our trip. We also had to pay 50 Euros for two meals for the babysitter which was not communicated or confirmed when booking. We were only informed of the hourly rate. This experience was a bit of a shame as it was a lovely stay despite this.

The property, pool, gardens, location are fantastic. What really made our holiday was the kind family, Max, Mauricio and their incredible parents. They made the holiday. The food they produce every night is superb - an authentic delicious Italian meal using home grown and fresh produce. The homemade wine and Lemoncello are superb! The pool, surrounding area and views are excellent.
Max and Mauricio helped us with transport, booking boat trips, bus routes, best places to visit and couldn’t have been more helpful. They went out of their way to make us (family of 3) all feel very welcome.
Apartments are clean, comfortable and home from home. Location is superb and away from the busier centre of Forio although very close to supermarket and only 10-15 minutes to the centre and the beaches (Roads are busy and no pavements but that is across the whole island).
We were very sad to leave - but looking forward to our next stay at this fantastic accommodation!

The host, Max, is very hospitable and kind and will help with anything that is within his control. helped us in planning our day around the island, helped book a 2 wheeler for us to travel around and most importantly, we reached the property at about 9:30 and he as very kind to offer us food at that time.

After our stay it is obvious why Villa Cristina has such amazing reviews - what a hidden gem! Our apartment was clean, charming and had everything we needed. The grounds themselves are absolutely stunning, the views of the mountain from the pool were just beautiful and so peaceful. I think the best part was the hospitality of our hosts, we only stayed one night for dinner but the food was incredible and the homemade wine was to die for, not to mention amazing value!
The location was slightly awkward so be prepared to pay for taxis - don't be fooled by Google maps as the residence is very close to Forio but the roads aren't the safest to walk on (esp at night) if you don't have a car/moped.

It’s Max & his lovely parents that make this place what it is.. Nothing is too much trouble at all. 15 mins walk from the beach & town, bus stop 5 min walk. Food is delicious and best value you will find anywhere on the island. Mamma Christina’s tiramisu is just the best!
The road that you have to walk on to get to the bus stop or beach is a bit busy, but you soon realise it’s no different to any other road on the island!

Everything! the hosts are spectacular. the attention was phenomenal. The accommodation was a one bedroom apartment with a grocery store literally a 5 minute walk away. it was close to beaches. The breakfast was excellent and the dinners were cooked by the owners each night after discussing in the morning the plate for that evening. The setting is truly magnificent, peaceful, manicured and large. we essentially had our own pool as it was never crowded. the intimate outdoor (but covered) dining area was where you could always find Antonio and Cristina and their son Max. the word ‘No’ is not in their vocabulary. the accommodated all requests and made sure our journey around the beautiful island of Ischia was safe and enjoyable. each night we drank their homemade white wine, dipped our bread in their homemade olive oil and ate their garden vegetables that we could see directly in from of us as we dined. the apartment was fully functional. it was not small or overly sized but included a kitchenette and an outside table for afternoon snacks and a drink after a day of activities. max suggested to us 2 different beaches (actual sand beaches for those familiar with the usuals rocky beaches of Italy) and arranged a boat ride for us around the entire island. I’d write more hit the limit!

As I mentioned above we invited ; other folks to accompany us on our ride around the island. these were people we never knew before but with whose company we were able to enjoy by being at the villa. we would go back today!! So much more I could say!

Peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful, well kept grounds. Max and his family were friendly, accommodating and generous. They fed us well and cooked my sons something different if they didn’t fancy what was on offer. we had plenty of produce from the organic garden, which was a treat, wine from their on site vineyard and lemoncello made by the dad. Our apartment had a kitchen and fridge freezer (a god send) and air con. The apartment was clean and comfortable. There is a small supermarket 5 mins walk. The public beach is 10/15 minutes walk.
Nothing, when we had a problem it was sorted promptly. Our hob wouldn’t work when
my son decided to cook one evening, Max and his dad sorted the issue straight away.

This was a last minute booking but boy, did we found a slice of heaven! Villa Cristina is an amazing place to stay at. The swimming pool, the excellent (!!!) food, the spacious and clean rooms, the green surroundings, the friendly family (Massimiliano is a true polyglot) that made us feel welcome—everything was great. we will be back!
this is not the hosts’ fault but the road leading up to the hotel is dangerous when you travel by foot like we did.

The staff was exceptional! Run by a very nice family in a very comfortable environment. Nice roomy apartments, pool area excellent and the food was amazing. Takes 5 minutes to walk to the supermarket and 10 minutes to walk to the beach. Can't recommend enough.

From the moment we arrived to villa Christina we felt like we'd made friends for life. Our hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and special guests. We enjoyed everything about this place, the love our hosts put in the details of the food and the accommodation. All the facilities were perfect, the garden and the swimming pool area are very pretty and nicely keept, the apartment well equipped and everything we possibly could want and more. We can't wait to go back there!

Dinners were fantastic! The best meal we had during our vacation. Host was very hospitable. The location was great, very peaceful, and relaxing place to stay. The location was convenient for any trips across the island via the bus. There are many buses stopping at the bust station near the residence.

There was a great deal of attention to details such as quality linens and furniture in an immaculately clean, comfortable apartment set in a lush environment surrounded by trees, flowers and an organic garden used to prepare delicious fresh abundant meals. I also enjoyed a swim in a sparkling pool, the jacuzzi and sauna. A great place made better by exceptional hospitality.

Max really took the time to take care of us and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was of the highest quality. The food at the restaurant was excellent, including ingredients grown in the garden. Even the wine is home made. WiFi was good! Thanks also for the German beer and great stay and I’m sure we’ll be back. :-)

If you are looking for an oasis of peace, this is the place.
We have been welcomed and pampered by Max, his dad and his mum, Signora Cristina who prepared for us delicious dinners with bio products from their farm for a great value for money! Max was always willing to help us and to find us some good solutions for renting scooters and book excursions in Ischia.

We loved this place and felt a real connection with the owners who are trying to help and support their guests in the most amazing way! The garden is amazing, the pool lovely and the sauna and jacuzzi are a BONUS! But the best of all is the family atmosphere, the friendliness of the people and the amazing food! They use a lot of products from their own garden and they are also really flexible in terms of what they can prepare for dinner. We had half-board and staied for 2 weeks. There is a 3 course dinner, but be prepared to eat: (at least!!) 3 starters, an amazing (and different each time) pasta plate and (!!!) a main plate (meat or fish)! We never regretted not going for a dinner in the city, since I am convinced it would've been the same! A must try is their home-made Limoncelo (with lemons from their garden) + their home-made wine, from the wine yard behind their house. Lovely breakfast and the same flexibility! Also a lot of great advices about the island and the places to visit.
Overall, a big thank you to Massimo&his family! We will definetely come back! And looking forward to!
Another great aspect is the daily cleaning and the air-conditioning + the fact that being relatively small, it was really calm. This, plus the lovely green garden, made it a perfect place to rest for us.
Maybe the pillows could have been a bit fluffier... But this is an extremely personal observation, so not a real problem!

Option to stay for lunch or dinner in the restaurant. Can only recommend this. Local products and cuisine for a great price!
They rented scooters for us that were delivered at our door. Amazing experience to explore Ischia on the scooter!

Massimiliano was a fantastic host! Two of my friends and I stayed there for 4 nights and he made sure everything was perfect for us, he also gave us amazing suggestions on different activities and places to go around Ischia.
We LOVED everything about Villa Cristina, the location is great, just a few minutes walk to the nearest bus stop. The breakfast is excellent and they do a wonderful dinner, with homemade wine. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. It is everything we would’ve wished for, and more! Will definitely visit again and completely recommend it :)

My family and me stayed at Villa Cristina for 10 days and it was absolute amazing. We loved everything about it. It is located perfectly. You can walk to the beach in 10 minutes, to the supermarket in 4 minutes, to Forio Centre or Harbour in 20 minutes or go 3 station by bus and everything else we needed was easy to reach.
The breakfast at Villa Cristina is absolutely lovely. They prepare fresh omelette or bruschetta if you like and you'll get everything else you need, for a great start in the day.
And if you like you can book a table for dinner in the same restaurant too. It's offering stunning dishes. Super fresh fish, pasta, pizza, vegetables, great desserts and a very high quality of cooking! Absolutely recommendable!
We also loved (!) the pool area. The garden is very exotic and the trees, plants and palms all around are stunning. And the swimming pool has the perfect temperature, a great size and is always clean.
Massimiliano -who was our contact person there- was always there when we had questions or when we needed some help to book trips or transfers. He and his family are amazing and we felt more than welcome and comfortable there. So, we had an absolute amazing time at Villa Cristina!
