Affordable and centrally located - a stay which includes the creature comforts and all the basics!

The hotel is centrally located - easy to access from Museum Station and buses on the Bondi - City - Circular Quay route. The rooms are basic - but have all the essentials - AC, a comfy bed, a TV, tea and coffee and a secure room.

There is no lift - so if you have a lot of luggage or heavy luggage - it is a bit of a hassle to get them up the stairs. The staff are helpful though and do help out when they can.

The room was very large and enjoyable, just everything about it was superb.

Very good, needing small improvements but good.

The room was nice and roomy and very comfortable and warm.

I noticed a blood stain on the carpet and it did slightly put me off. Also when I requested my room to be made my bed was never made up too. But other than that it was a very nice experience.

Short and sweet, with friendly staff and great service.

My room was comfortable, clean, and in a great location. The staff were friendly and accommodating, with quick service and excellent manners.

Unfortunately, I had construction outside my window, but this is no fault of the hotel!

Great clean room for a great price in a great location.

The renovations from the previous hotel are amazing in comparison. My room was clean, large, light filled but also with curtains to block out the light. I could not hear any noise from the street below. Check in process was simple, codes are provided for room access rather than keys. The main things I look for in a room is a comfortable bed, good shower pressure, and it is clean and this ticked all the boxes.

The room was kind of shabby. I wasn’t sure how to use the TV. And some people might be put ohh the amount of noise but I guess some would appreciate the night life

Ok accommodation in a great location

Location is superb and the room cleanliness & layout was ok. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean, tidy & functional but had some shortcomings as below.

The cleanliness of the foyer, hallway and stairs was ordinary. The room we stayed in had been renovated at some stage but the job on the reno was very ordinary. Tiles not laid properly, grout missing etc. With a little TLC this place would be great.

our stay was excellent, the staff were super nice and we had room service every day which was really nice!

we were not expecting the rooftop room with private access but that is what we got… of course we loved it!

We live with the cockroach during 4 days, Lovely !

Good localisation and beautiful viey on the balcony

The appartement was dirty There was a lot of cockroach on the balcony and in the bathroom. The staff didn’t fixe the problem, in plus the service doesn’t come every morning.

Location was great

We booked and the policy stated the payment would be taken out 24-48 hours prior to booking. This was not done which made it very difficult to check in hours were only 2-6pm. Knowing we had plans during the day we couldnt shift we arrived at 10am the morning of to organise check in (knowing we wouldn't have access to the room until after 2pm). Noone was there. we called and tried paying over the phone or requesting they take payment from the card linked to the booking so that we could access after hours booking. For whatever reason this could not be done. Made it VERY difficult

Good for a short stay

Very spacious for 3 people. Beds have good sizes. Good location. Near Woolies, bus stop, train station, park, restaurant and the city.

Toilet has no hooks for clothes and towels. Aircon is weak so it takes time to cool down the room. Toilet accumulate water because the floor it's not level. Only had 2 glasses and 2 mugs for a room that fits 4 people (we were 3). Microwave, roaster and cutlery would be good to be included.

considering the cost of less appointed accommodation in the area the Crecy offers good value for money albeit a very tin

surprisingly quite given the busy Oxford St location. The bathrooms had been renovated in the last few years which freshen the place up a bit. Having fresh air from opening windows was great. Staff stayed back nearly an hour after check in cutoff to accommodate my 1 hr late flight which was very kind

add a towel and/or clothes hook/rack in the small bathroom. Street Parking around the hotel is very limited so something to consider if you have a car

Good stat

The location is great, close to Museum station walking distance. Lots of options for food around. The room is a fair size, but nowhere to put your suitcase. Bathroom is a bit small with the toilet and shower. The self check in and check out was very easy.

The hallways had a bit of a urine smell to it. The room gets a lot of noise off the street, so on a weekend with all the bars it is a bit noisy.

Good enough for us to recommend to our friends from out-of-town with similar requirements.

All the basic essentials for what we wanted were there. From the start: No frills but clean, tidy, fairly recently renovated. Easy online booking, welcoming receptionist, no keys or magnetic entry cards for access, just codes, simple but tasteful room decor, immediate hot water basin and shower, easy early checkout - no transaction requirements around minibar etc that we never use on our travels. Wide range of eating/drinking options across the road. Easy walking distance to St Vincent’s Hospital where we had an early morning admission. Good value for money on good bus route from City rail and bus bus stations. All answers to your questions made against our requirements.

Choice of cupboard clothes hangers. Two old hangers with no horizontal bar. Plenty of space in the cupboard but no hangers to hang clothes on!
