No lift so had to carry suitcases up stairs.

The hotel has a lot of character and is very colourful, quirky and comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable . It was handy to be able to walk downstairs to the pub to get a delicious dinner

very clean and retro
bar downstairs was a little noisy

The staff was lovely and the food at the bar rich and yummy. Small, but interesting winelist.
The room was disappointing, couldn't open windows and had a bit of a musty smell. The "goodies" pack may be a good sugar hit for the kids, except much of it was melted.

This hotel ticked all the boxes for us - location, amenity, warm & inviting, lovely room. What really won us over was to provide us a little care package of snacks, and some well chosen drinks in the bar fridge. Thats right - no mini-bar charge! Complete quality in our eyes!

More storage for clothes i.e. drawers

unfortunately for a Sunday night in Adelaide there were a couple of noisy groups walking home in the early hours & their noise carried right into our room

Very comfortable, clean and spacious rooms (bathroom is huge!). Friendly staff and great location right in the CBD.
I did not realise this hotel is actually attached to a restaurant/pub, meaning there is literally ZERO staff to be found anywhere before 10/11am, in person or by phone. I arrived early and was hoping to drop my bags at reception before check-in, but was dismayed to find the entire place closed. Unfortunately had to sit outside for a good couple of hours before I was able to even enter the place. Granted, they did message me when I booked that check-in wasn't until later, but I didn't read the fine line I guess! Just a watch out to anyone else getting in early. I was also a bit shocked that basic amenities such as toothpaste weren't available considering the price point. A very pleasant stay otherwise.

The rooms were super stylish, massive bathroom with bath and super comfy bed. There was a bar fridge they topped up each day with complimentary drinks which was amazing! The bar downstairs was really cool and staff super friendly. Lots of great cafes and restaurants near by and felt super safe as I stayed a few days by myself before friends arrived.
Nothing it was awesome.

From the moment we were greeted at the bar by a lovely young woman, to enjoying our immaculate, small but super comfortable room, our complimentary drinks and amazing Evo bathroom products, and perfect location - had an incredible stay, couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

friendly staff, very positive and helpful
the noisy truck at about 4 am picking up rubbish

Helpful staff. Beautifully appointed bathroom & lovely big bath. Generous free mini bar with stocked beer, cider & soft drinks all complimentary. That’s got to be a first in my books for sure.
Power leads for coffee & jug could possibly be a little bit longer & maybe some more seating in the bedroom rather than sitting on the bed.
A little noisy at night, however it is a pub after all, & was extremely busy so that should tell you something about it’s popularity.

we liked the aesthetic. high quality supplies and complimentary treats. good light and lighting, plenty of power points. convenient location for art gallery etc, market, eco-businesses, Rundle mall. next time we’ll spend some time on the balcony.
a few towel rails would be useful for hanging damp towels. our room was a little noisy during the day from construction work on the next building and the beer garden below the bathroom window. the bedroom is overlooked by tall apartment building, with no window covering. the hotel and room have a few surprise steps.

Great staff and a lovely welcome. Room was well equipped clean and nicely decorated - retaining many original features. Bathroom was very spacious with a lovely bath as well as a separate shower. There was a communal balcony for guests only which was lovely to relax on after a day of sightseeing. Pub downstairs was not very noisy at all and only slightly noisy on Saturday night. Quite close to the centre and very close to the Central Market and Chinatown. Easy to use the free bus system nearby. Great recommendations for breakfast down the road. Good Wi-Fi. And a Nespresso machine.
Nothing - everything was great. Power sockets were difficult to see as black on a black skirting board but once you found them there were plenty! :-)

Extremely noisy quite early Fri AM
