Good location

Good location to walk to the city center, room is small but it has everything you need.

Great apartment!

The location is great, close to port, bus station and just few minutes walk from the old town. Everything was super clean and apartment is equipped with anything you could possibly need! Bathroom was our favourite part, especially shower. The owner is also very nice and easy to reach.

Perfect for an overnight transition because it's so close to the port and train station.

The batteries were flat on the entry lock so we had to wait for the host to come and let us in. When he came he was very pleasant and helpful.

I'd strongly recommend it!

The location is excellent, in 6/7 min walking distance you can reach the bus station, the shuttle airport bus, the ferry terminal to board to Hvar and most important: Dioclecian's palace. There are 2 groceries stores on the corner really affordable. The apartment is beautiful decorated, new, cozy and well equipped to provide the guest with an absolute comfortable stay. I liked the shower as it has good pressure and stabile hot water. The kitchen has everything you may need. I'd also like to enhance how clean and spacious it is. The communication with the host was fluent and easy via wasap and mail. There is a self check in, so don't expect anyone at your arrival. However the host sent us the pincode for the lockbox and videos with all the details in advance and the process was super easy. I liked the self check in. He was very welcoming, accommodating and helpful and he always replied to all my messages in no time, and even allowed us an early check in. You have to pay a deposit before your stay which is given back to you at the end. This is not a problem, because it contributes to have the apartment in great conditions.

Quiet quaint apartment

Great apartment just a few blocks from Diocletian's Palace and the ferry port. Quiet space to chill and get a good night's rest. Best shower in Europe. Would highly recommend. Stairs into apartment and to get to bed so best for more mobile guests.

Missed having a full oven but toaster oven was fine for warming bread for breakfast.

Close to the city and bus terminal. Very clean. Very good breakfast from the Bar outside. But need to walk a little bit. If you are interested to cook all utensils are available

AC was not providing sufficient cooling. Wifi signals are lost at the night.

Really good value, well-equipped flat. Excellent location for exploring Split centre.

Very-comfortable bed. Very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Perfect location for access to port, coach station and bus station. Easy access to numerous supermarkets. Very easy access to old town / Diocletians palace etc.

Quite a strong chemically smell when we arrived (possibly linked to the air conditioning) or cleaning products. it gave us a bit of a dry throat. First night we slept with air-con off which solved the throat issue but was unbearably hot!! Reintroduced air con at lower level the next day and that was better. (Maybe the air con had recently been serviced or something.) Some might find the location quite noisy…(it’s on a busy road) but double glazing was excellent in our flat so not much of an issue for us.

Exceptional

Apartments Villa Mak is in a perfect location, beach, center and port were all at walking distance. We basically parked our car in one of the free spaces up the road and we didn't move it for the entire stay. The apartment is clean, beautifully furnished and has everything that you need if you want to prepare your meals instead of going to the restaurant. The staff was simply incredible! they replied to all our questions immediately and always did everything possible to accommodate all our requests thanks again for the amazing stay!!!

The location was perfect, the apartment itself was super comfortable and cozy. Would definitely recommend.

The hot water was not the best. It takes quite a while to heat up and runs out quickly. But the water pressure was superb so no complaints really.

You need to run the air-conditioning continuously as it's not possible to have the window open due to street noise.

Great location especially if you have trips planned starting from the old town or ferry port. Comfortable bed, strong shower and apartment has everything you may need for your trip.

Excellent location. Super clean unit.

The host met me at the property, a very friendly person. The unit is super clean with all you need. I enjoyed my stay very much. The location is great, walking distance to downtown, stores, and more! I do recommend it.

The apartment was modern, comfortable, clean, and very well-equipped! It was even better than I expected. The location is unbeatable and directly next to the center. There were a lot of personal touches to really make you feel like home. It smelled really good, was extremely clean, and just felt great to come back to after a long day! Would stay here again and again!

A place to stay with comfort in Split

Very friendly and helpful host, great location. Comfortable, clean, very well decorated, some amenities like coffee, tea and toiletries were available. Highly recommended.

Just the fridge was a bit too small, but with some organization skills you can put a few things in.

It is just a room turned into an apartment and it is much smaller than expected. There was also no daylight whatsoever.

Excellent location and nice host.

Great location, host was very nice and gave information. Furnished rooms very nice. Big enough for 4 people.

Everything was great. No balcony to have any outside space but you are in the centre of split.

Great location w/ in easy walking distance to the palace and surrounding areas. Host was spectacular, with great beach and food recommendations. Loved the apartment theme - Lavender. We would definitely try to book again during our next visit.
