Superb

Right in the Old town - lots of restaurants Great amenities in bathroom Location Clean

Some of the reception staff could be more attentive Some of them were really service minded and smiling , kind and helpful others weren’t. Refrigerator made lots of noise.

Still a nice place to stay

4th or 5th time at Bettolo hotel (last time was before Covid). Still great location (very central), confortable room and helping and smily staff.

Was this time allocated on a corner on 2nd floor which looked a bit strange and where the windows were not completely closing. Still was comfortable and OK for 1 night.

Superb

Very friendly and helpful staff in the breakfast room. The location, once we found it, was excellent for walking access to shopping and transport.

I had requested twin beds on booking and phoned a week prior to check that the request had been confirmed then had to wait while our room was prepared accordingly.

excellent choice right in the 'old town'-with narrow streets (car free) lots shops and restaurants

very friendly and helpful staff - reception / dining /room servicing.........umbrellas available if required at hotel entrance luggage 'storage'

availability of a coffee/tea machine in the small lounge area.........very useful for guests waiting for say late flight home

would not recommend it

the bed was good, and the view was great

a very strong perfume smell. we commented about it, and the person at the desk said it was to hide bad smell from the street. we did not notice any bad smell outside, so… we also dod not like that they charged us to refill the nespresso pods, although we were staying 4 nights. I have never seen this in another hotel, and it was not cheap!

Everything was very good and the staff (reception and bfast) were extra!

-staff (reception and bfast) : very friendly and caring -lobby area on the first floor with couch (very practical while we waited for our room) -location -room was very spacious and clean -small balcony with a view

-bfast (in quantity and diversity) -taxi cannot get right to the property (some luggages struggle on old cobbled streets)

close to shops, restaurants and Old Town

Elia Bettolo is clean and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Old Town. This part of Chania is very walkable. We arrived early and our room was ready! The room overlooked a side street with shops, the bathroom was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable and overall we had a quiet and enjoyable stay. The breakfast was simple but tasty. It was good enough for 2 days but if you like variety I’d recommend going somewhere close by, as there are several options to choose from. The team arranged airport transfers and gave clear directions on how to get to the bus stop. Everyone was sweet and professional.

Very good

The location of the Ellia Bettolo hotel was within walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see. The breakfast provided a varied assortment of items to choose from. There is a large variety of restaurants and shopping just outside the door. The restaurant owner just outside the hotel was very nice and was lovely to talk to. She even guided us to the hotel door when we looked "very confused" about how to find the hotel on several occasions!

Our stay was excellent. Perfect central old town location. Staff very helpful and went the extra mile. Breakfast was wonderful. Hotel was very clean and tidy. 10/10

Superb

The location was perfect! It is in the middle of everything. If you are planning to stay just for few days all the places like the port, new town,old town etc are a very short walkable distance for the hotel. The rooms are big and very clean with balcons viewing the city center. The breakfast is very simple and tasty with the best fresh orange juice i have ever tasted.

Charming Chania

As regulars to Chania Old Town we were looking for somewhere comfortable, easily accessible and with breakfast, and Elia Bettolo did not disappoint! Excellent location, with really friendly helpful staff, breakfast was well worth it, and the rooms were really comfortable and inviting. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely revisit.

Perfect hotel for it’s price

What a nice hotel for it’s price. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast was excellent. The room was as it was described, little problem with a shower but it was not critical. Will definitely recommend
