Definitely worth the stay!

Morocco is known for its hospitality and Khadijah/husband are forward thinking in regards to ensuring we (my aunty who is 73 and I) had details of how to locate the accommodation via WhatsApp and they we’re available to help us via WhatsApp during our stay. We also arrange a lift during Eid which is amazing and I am forever grateful. The apartmentis only 10mins walk from beach, atm’s, bars. We are lucky enough to visit during the World Festival and we found we was in the best location as the area was not as busy/loud as the medina (which is a 15 min walk or a short taxi ride in a local taxi which people jump in and out for around 5drm; ask for “Aslef”). The area offers great value for money in regards to eating out & local products to cook. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment but looked at all of the apartments during our 10 night stay and they’re all fabulous. This is a newly built or decorated complex so you have a more modern Moroccan style with instagramable corners and new decor. The kitchen was fully equipped and I learnt to make a great pot of Moroccan tea (it’s all in the colour of the brew) using their pot. Everywhere was stunningly clean and the place smelt amazing. We visited using June and it was hot outside and we didn’t use the Ac as the apartment was really cool. I really loved the place and will be revisiting next y The local area and people are really friendly and we found ourselves saying “Salam” in the mornings to the all of the people who live in the road during our stay and with a local tailor (a few doors down) who didn’t try to sell me anything as it doesn’t look open but I went in and got a beautiful jalaba (coat) for 1/3 of the price of the medina. Local food is all within a 5 minute walk from breakfast bar run by a whole family from grandfather to young sons. And many local shops who don’t speak English but go above and beyond to communicate with us. I really felt happy with the location.

Nice apartment not very far from the ocean and medina. Very clean. Nice terrace on the roof with cosy little house giving you a shelter from sun and wind. The owner very communicative and helpfull. We do recommend.

Big and well equipped apartment in a nice part of Essaouira

Big and well equipped appartment. The appartment was very clean and comfortable. We liked the area it’s located in, nice bakery and restaurants around. Quiet area as well.

The shower could be a little bit warmer. The shower definitely not cold but a bit warmer would be nice.

good for short stay

nice room on roof terrace with conservatory although was full of hanging washing but in better weather this would be outside not a lot of room to sit out in the sun on the terrace, apartment was large but just a little dark with high windows, good location and everything close by

the noise at night but this was from the street and can’t be helped

Great apartment in goid safe area

The ground floor apartment was clean on arrival. This is a very big apartment in a very traditional morrocon style, it was very well equipped with everything to cook if needed. Roof terrace was good with washing machine ( you paid extra for this and for A/C ). Loved location as only 5 minutes to beach and loads of good local cafes. 10 mins wak to medina.

Stayed 8 nights wasnt given clean sheets and on day 5 had to ask for clean towel. Really bad smell in toilet.

Very good

This little appartement was in a great spot an easy 10 minutes to the beach lots of local shops and only 20 mins walk from a large supermarket. The appartement had all the basic necessities and the owners were helpful and friendly. The cleaner was excellent.

The sofas and the bed could have been better but this is Morocco and things are different here

Nice apartment.

Very big comfortable apartment with a private parking. Good location, 15 min walk to the beach, 20 min to Medina, nice restaurants around.

Very good

All as described, very good comunication with the host, big terrace where is possible to wash and dry wetsuit.

The building has some flat, our was the one at the entarce at road level; at the end all was good but strange feeling made by the small caged window.

Great appartment

Hosts are very welcoming, and do their upmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Franz suggested to drive us around the city to discover the countryside and few beaches on the south. He is very knowledgeable of the area and we learnt a lot of tricks places to visit and things to do while we were there. The apartment was very clean, the area is safe with plenty of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinners. The beach is about 20 mns walk, the Medina 25mns.

Washing machine is not in the apartment itself but in a common area at the top floor (up two stairs for us). A little inconvenient, but still manageable. No oven is provided (just microwave). But the gas hob is sufficient for few meals. There are plenty good and cheap restaurants around the corner, so not a big deal really.

Perfect stay with very attentive hosts.

Absolutely everything! The apartment was clean, comfy and cozy. It has a lovely terrace that served as an AC, bringing in a cool breeze. Situated a little walk away from all enmities, the apartment is situated in a super quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

This flat is OK and would suit many people

the property is OK and its pretty much as portrayed in the listing. It is by far the best painted building in the neighbourhood. There is plenty space and everything works as it should. It's a long walk to the nearest supermarket which is a Carrefour but there are local outlets where you can buy water and bread and many other things. Its quite close to the beach and the harbour, a good walk but along the front by the sea and on the flat. This is an Atlantic beach and its windy its not the Med for sure.

The roof terrace was a disappointment. Its a communal area and lacks privacy and it is also very small and over 50% of the space is taken up by the washing lines. There are two sun loungers but they have no cushions so are not comfortable. a photograph in the listing shows two side by side but I don't know how that is possible as the space was very tight. I was also bitten by a mosquito like insect quite badly possibly due to the plants on the roof acting to harbour insects. i am susceptible to insect bites but it was a surprise

Great place to stay

The appartment is clean. We were on the ground floormanager which is probably the noisiest but if you close windows and doors there is no problem. What is also super is that owners provide tea towels and washing up liquid. It´s the little things in life....owners contact you straight after booking: they send you pictures, the address in arabic, route on googlemaps, price of taxi...can´t go wrong.

It´s a one bedroom appartment so if you need 2 separate beds you sleep on the couch which is a bit hard to sleep on.

Great for the price

The flat is well located in popular area super close to the beach 10min walk and 15 min walk from the medina. The flat was big and the wifi connection is good for travelers who are working. The host are helpful and live o n the same building jn case of questions.

The bathroom was not well aered. The flat corresponds to the picture not so much light.
