The apartment is located outside the medina, in a residential area of the city. To the city center 20 minutes on foot. Close to the beach, surf centers and bus station CTM. Nearby is a good cheap cafe and several local shops. You can walk to a big store Carrefour. The apartment is clean, beautiful, has all the amenities. The hostess Fouzia prepared a very tasty tajine for dinner for us free of charge. Good English from the hostess. We liked everything

Best stay in Essauoria

The apartment was spotless and the host Chez was so lovely. Couldn't tip enough at the end. On our 2nd night of 3 she cooked us the best Morrocan Tagine we ate all week. The top terrace is to die for and the perfect place to chill in the sun and have a smoke and a drink:).

Nothing I didn't like, having the toilet so close to the kitchen can be a bit off putting sometimes but there is a further toilet in the hallway which can be used.

A very warm and friendly welcome. Comfortable beds. Lovely Tajine as good buy gift.

Kitchen poorly stocked as in rather primitive cutlery and blunt kitchen knives. Kitchen would need to be thoroughly cleaned to get rid of all the grease and some better pots and pans to enable us to cook.

Fantastic

Fouzia gave us a warm welcome in her nice and big appartment. Good communication and you can ask her everything (I forgot to bring my hair dryer and she let me use her iron). She invited us for chicken tajine, typical Moroccan hospitality. I would recommend to stay at Chez Fouzia and Essaouira is the best city in Morocco.

Home from home

The best place I've been, great apartment, location, and wonderful owner. Fouzia is very warm and prepared me a delicious Tagine meal. The terrace is amazing with a great view, I couldn't recommend it highly enough!!

Very nice apartment and great location. Owner is very friendly and helpful. We were a family of 5 and really enjoyed the apartment. The apartment has all the facilities needed including washing machine.

Very good

Fouzia made us a delicious chicken tajine dinner and was very friendly and helpful. Loved having access to a washing machine and the rooftop terrace was nice.

A great place to stay in Essaouira

The traditional style apartment is big and well furnished. it is located something like 15 minutes from the Medina, a really nice stroll right next to the ocean in a friendly neighborhood that we were always enjoying, Madame Fouzia, the family and Fatima are really good hosts and super nice people always willing to help and always welcoming with a big smile. the possibility to go and relax in the rooftop of the palace is another plus.

there is absolutely nothing to complain. i am almost sure that is the best deal you can get in all Essaouira.

Huge and super clean flat

Literally everything! Madam Fouzia is really gentle and warm and she offered us immediately Morokkean tea and super tasty biscuits. The flat is huge and super comfy likewise the bed. living room big as well and also the toilet and shower was perfect. it’s 5 minutes from the beach and only 20 minutes from old town.

The roof top terrace and the living room that was cozy and spacious.

The worst thing of all is that the bedroom bed had termites!!! At night it was easy to hear them clicking and scratching, it was terrible, I decided to sleep on the floor. - The bedroom door couldn't be closed as it was too close to the floor and couldn't be pulled. - Superficial cleaning! The kitchen and the bedroom had spiders and spider webs, like you could see it hasn't been cleaned recently, not to mention all the dust under the beds. - The kitchen appliances were a bit old and pretty dirty as well. - The bathroom was on the hallway, not in the apartment and the installations were also old, the toilet seat broken. - The private terrace was full of clothes hung to dry so that was the view. We only stayed for one night, but honestly we couldn't wait to leave. I booked it because of all the good reviews I read however, I don't understand what people enjoyed. It was disappointing.

Very quaint spot

This was my first time booking an apartment during my 3-ish weeks in Morocco. I thought that maybe it wouldn't live up to it. However, i was pleasantly surprised at how nice of a place this was. The location was perfect as it was close to beach and medina. Parking was simple. This was easily one of the best places I've stayed in here.

The water wouldn't get hot at all. But even with that I'll still give it a 10.

such a beautiful place to stay. clean and homely. the host was so amazing, she was so friendly. I just absolutely loved everything about this property. especially the location.

Great location, very comfortable.

Was very surprised by the nightly tax fee per person. With our family this worked out to another 50% of the accommodation total. Thankfully host took a reduced payment, but was rude and inappropriate to my children and turned off the water. Almost a disaster trip.

The apartment is located in a quite part of Essaouira, walking distance to CTM bus terminal and Carrefour supermarket. The Medina is about 30 minutes walking. The main road is a couple of minutes walk, from there you can flag down a passing taxi. The apartment is spacious and there are all stuff you need to prepare your own meal. Host is super friendly. Thanks again for the tajine.

Warm, clean and convenient accommodation

This is a spacious apartment with lovely features. The owners live upstairs so it is easy to talk to them. The aparatment was clean and furnished with everything we needed. The use of the kitchen was very convenient. Unlike the properties in medina, this one can be accessed in a taxi so it is convenient if you have a lot of luggage.

Lovely host with a great hospitality.

A lovely host with the the warmest welcome. Fouzia is a Moroccan lady with great hospitality. I apprecaiate everything, she made our stay so comfortable. We loved the terace where you can enjoy the sunbath with a nice view. I would defenitly comeback. Again thank you so much Fouzia.

Nice experience

Good hospitability, clean place, spacious and calm. It was good.

Toilet/shower isn t a part of the place so my wife caught a flu after shower.
