A cheap hotel with most the basics that you need

The Hotel do have all the facilities you need and i love that it was more like an apartment so you really could move around in it. It has a nice restaurant were you can see soccer and meet other people.

Difficulties to get warm water in the shower. Only during periods it worked.

ARCHITECTURAL DREA,,

I am a solo traveller, so imagine my suprise at check in when I am taken to NOT just a double bedroom with own bathroom, but also a kitchen area with sink, fridge and dining sitting room, also TV in fact a small apartment for the price of a room, very cheap price, YES OK SO ITS OLD 1950/1960 STYLE, SO WHAT THAT ALL ADDS TO THE CHARM, WITH AMAZING ARCHITECTURE INSIDE THE BUILDING. I can truly say this has been one of the best places I have ever stayed in anywhere. I did not use the TV after a day walking kilometres along the windy beach I was very tired and just slept no noise during nighttime I woke at 0600 as is usual for me and begin internet work, the WiFi signal is very good in this apartment, and the call to prayers at 0700 could only just be heard. At 0800 I had a shower, having been too tired the night before, and at 0900 Banana 🍌 and 🍊 which I had bought from the local Carrefour supermarket the day before. It's just a 5 minutes walk to Carrefour, and you pass other small food shops along the way, if you want to save your legs.😀

It would be unfair to write down small things which are apparent because they did not affect my overall stay. I have read many reviews on my travels, some of them very unfair, guests are too eager to point out small faults, or offer advice on how to improve, these guests completely forget the cheap price they paid, so I wonder where they think the money will come from to pay for improvement and if improved then it will no longer be a cheap price, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR So my advice to the complainers is IF YOU WANT PERFECT THEN PICK AN EXPENSIVE HOTEL 😀 And I will be grateful for my clean bed for the night and good night's sleep, I do not expect PERFECT for the price I am willing to pay 😀 and I say a big thank you to the kind and helpful staff.

Bargain accommodation in a good location

We booked this place for 3 nights in search of a budget, no frills place to sleep. It was pleasant and cheap. Our room was nice and big. Had a very traditional Moroccan feel to it. It was basic but clean. Very friendly owner. The location is good, only a 10 min walk or so to the top of beach. Maybe a 30 min walk or so to the medina. We would stay here again 👍

The WiFi signal was very hit and miss in our room. We could only get a lukewarm shower at best. One of the days it was flat cold. It also leaked so the bathroom ended up soaking after you had a shower. Bed was uncomfortable (hard).

Disaster

The reception guy was really nice when it comes to dealing with costumers.

At first, there was nothing clean in the room, the bed was broken, the window is showing, also some of the toilet's equipment were not clean and others i couldn't find them like toilet paper. And then the bedsheet was not clean at all.

Great value, spacious accommodations

I love this property! The apartment is clean and very spacious with a kitchen and balcony. The front desk person is very kind. It is located in a quiet location. It's also a great value.

I loved everything about this place. 5 stars all the way!

Not comfortable as lacking essentials, didn't provide what was advertised on booking. com.

Location only.

Not what was advertised on booking. com, old tv in room, no towels (we have to beg for towels we were given one with great difficulty !! It was night time no shop was opened ) , had to ask for hot water as well as we needed showers. We were made to feel responsible for the price of the room on booking. com. as the receptionist said the hotel is not making enough profit that is why they don't provide towels, toiletries... As far as we remarked on they have double standards dealing with tourists,: they rather like to deal with the overseas tourists than the moroccan tourists. I will never set foot in this hotel nor recommend it to anyone.

Disappointing

Friendly personel - as always

I would not recommend staying here, if there is any other hotel available. Very old Hotel, not renovated for a long time. Dark rooms and too expensive in comparison to other Hotels and Riads I had been to in morocco. Quite far away from the historic city and situated in a bad neighbourhood.

Good

The Hotel is cheap and has a parking spot. Everything is clean.

I couldn’t find the place and the GPS from Booking come brought me to a other hotel with a similar name. At the hotel is only on the top of the roof a small sign without any light. At the end a taxi driver drove in front of my to the right place. It was very cold, had no heater and for warm water I was waiting couple minutes. The handel from the shower is fixed with tape and so the water was every wehre.
