Sehr gutes Hotel in absolut zentraler Lage

Super Lage direkt im Statdzentrum, war ideal für die Besichtigung der Stadt. Sehr freundliches und hilfbereites Personal, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Restaurant. Die Leistung des Restaurants ist sowohl beim Abendessen als auch beim Frühstück hervorragend.

Zumindest das Zimmer in dem ich übernachtet habe war relativ dunkel. Die Anfahrt zum Hotel ist ziemlich komplex - aber um das Problem musste sich der Taxifahrer kümmern. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis könnte besser sein - das liegt aber primär am Preis und nicht an der Leistung.

Comfortable hotel with perfect location

A comfortable modern hotel perfectly located in the city center of Reykjavik. The room was small but with a comfortable bed and a small desk. The breakfast was delicious with variety of local dishes and fresh fruits. A warm recommendation to discover Reykjavik.

My room in the old building was facing a courtyard so slightly noisy with a restaurant.

There is a self parking (public) garage next door, but it is closed from midnight to 7am so if you need your car during that time you’ll need to park on the street.

Very convenient location, poor quality sleep due to noise. Excellent staff and food.

Room - clean and comfortable. Breakfast - good quality and variety. Restaurant - superb. Staff - very friendly and helpful.

Room - very noisy, little or no soundproofing. Constantly woken up by banging doors, and noises from outside.

Great city centre hotel!

- Amazing breakfast, well worth it paying for it, so many good options - Hotel restaurant is lovely, lots of good options and a good vibe in the eve with happy hour - Lots of stylish areas of the hotel to relax in, wish we had more time to enjoy them - Heated floor in the bathroom is great after cold days! - Easy and friendly check in - Spacious room and comfy bed - Great location with good access to everything in Reykjavik city centre

The only thing I would say is the room is quite warm and there is no option to adjust the heat setting, however this is very minor

Good location: however; If your a light sleeper avoid this hotel or opt for a high room facing the courtyard.

Good location close to everywhere. Bang in the centre. Close to bus stop 6 for all tours.

Rooms so so loud. Hotel is in centre so some noise is expected but when it comes to bed time you want to fall asleep relax after a long day. We was in room 236 and it was right by the road and you can hear cars all day and night and the bars with people partying. We moved to room 317 which was better but could then hear the laundry room next door, washing machine and then the stairs outside people going up and down. Staff were miserable.

Great Location.

Location was great. Room cleaning not so great, but adequate, (glasses were not cleaned, garbage not empty, dirty towel was still left) Nespresso machine did not work right.

Nespresso machine room service Manger did not address other guests who were loud and obnoxious at 2am in the morning

Geweldige vakantie achter de rug

Heel vriendelijke personeel Aangenaam en lekker eten in het restaurant Heel centraal gelegen. Ideaal voor ophalen voor uitstappen en uit eten te gaan.

De kamers waren vrij warm om te slapen, ook al stond de verwarming uit en het raam open ..

Wonderful Hotel

The room was excellent. The location to the best of the city is excellent. Short walk to bus stop 6 where most tours pick ups can be organised. The in-house restaurant serves great food with lovely staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Reykjavik.

A 30th wedding anniversary weekend in Reykjavik in a good centrally located hotel.

Great location, close to all the main attractions and restaurants. Being on the 5th floor gives direct access to roof terrace area with great views of the city and ocean. Great breakfast choices. Greetings card and sparkling wine on our anniversary from the hotel!

It is Iceland - but coming from the UK everything is so expensive!!

Great location -comfy, clean rooms but beware of neighborhood clubs

Breakfast was wonderful Staff were professional, helpful and welcoming.

Great location, clean and modern rooms. Loved our stay.

The location is excellent - right near Rainbow road and all the great pubs and restaurants. Rooms are modern and beautiful - the bathroom floor was heated :D There is a parking garage right across the road which is amazing too since parking can be tricky in Reykjavik.

I don't feel the breakfast was great or good value for money - especially since you couldn't even get a decent cappuccino with your meal. We were told they were understaffed and couldn't make machine coffees which I thought a tad bizarre.

Top Lage des Hotels mit direkt daneben gelegener Parkgarage. Das Frühstück war klein aber mit liebevollen Details. Das Personal vor allem an der Rezeption war äußerst aufmerksam.

I would stay again but not eat here.

Room was great, reception staff was outstanding.

restaurant food was average for the price, restaurant staff was not very friendly. coffee maker did not work well. You should rethink this brand of coffee maker.

Good

The room was clean and the staff was great. The hotel has all they need to be top class

Here we had in our opinion major downside. The room temperature was extremely high. All radiators was turned off, the window was open but still we could barely stay in the room. It had one fan that did not help at all. I guess that this is major fail in designing the hotel and dont think about ventilation at all. This ruined our whole experience because everything else was so nice and top class.

Very good stay but not four stars worth, expected more luxury

Location. Short distance from city centre. Beautiful view. Very clean and good privacy. Calm atmosphere and very little noise. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Got a dry welcome at the lobby, like we didn't matter much. Would have liked breakfast to be included in the price but knew that beforehand. Just thought we were getting more value for money. Also, no room service even though I remember reading about that beforehand. The tv set needs updating. Turns off randomly. Coffee machine a bit hard to get around and the waterpower in the shower could have been better.

Our first trip to Reykjavik was amazing and we will be back if the Disco Biscuits play there again.

The breakfast and sandwiches were really delightful. The shower was awesome. I loved how it was walking distance to everything.

The cost for a room is astronomical. No parking was kind of a drag. Also I wished the bathroom door would close especially when we are paying that amount of money. My partner and I took turns leaving for privacy.
