Beautiful scenery and very rustic

There were too many insects, especially huge Park town prawns on the bed.... Very scary other than that it was really great

Having stayed here a few years ago we decided to revisit, we were warmly greeted by one of the service ladies and the little trio of Jack Russels were also part of the welcoming party (as we are dog lovers this was no problem). Our accommodation was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed a peaceful stay.

Room was spacious and bed + pillows extremely comfortable. Fireplace in room although we didn't have time to use it. Lovely surroundings.

Loadshedding meant we couldn't have coffee in the morning.

The accommodation was not only beautiful, but spacious, clean and well equipped too: we were offered electric blankets, fire place, heater in the bathroom as well as a fan heater in the bedroom. The place was simple to locate and check in and check out system made things seamless for us. Thank you for the rusks and the tea that was provided, as well as the ladies for helping us when our fire wouldn’t start.

Great location to shops & restaurants. Spacious and comfortable. Attention to detail. Coffee facilities in rooms. Great secure space for kids to run free. provider lamps and candles for load shedding.

Could consider investing in an inverter to run TV; lights & a kettle during load shedding.

I had a lovely overnight get away

The location was convenient, the guest farm is beautifully maintained and my room was beautiful

Loadshedding was really inconvenient as I had many hours with no wifi

A superb stay.

Everything was so neat and well kept. Our Deluxe room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. We had everything we needed and we appreciated the plunger and plunger coffee and the home made rusks. I also liked the fact that although our room did not have a kitchen we had the bar fridge and some cooldrink and wine glasses we could use. I also loved the greenery in the jug in the room. Staff was helpful and friendly. Will go back to spend more time doing the trails and around the pool.

I suggest that you add a small hair dryer in the room.

Beautiful location. Very peaceful! Nice, spacious and neat rooms. Kind and friendly hosts. Wonderful to receive detailed information prior to arrival regarding how to get in, parking, load shedding schedule etc. Would highly recommended this guest farm!

LAVENDER + TROUT GUEST FARM

Situated in a scenic valley. Peace and tranquility 100%. Staff were friendly and efficient. Owner was courteous and kept us informed about load shedding/ power cuts. Perfect for a family as there were farm animals and friendly pets. The cottage was well decorated and planned. Very comfortable beds and everything was squeaky clean. The fireplace was well stocked and kept us warm and cosy. I would go back and recommend this venue to all my family and friends without hesitation.

Nothing not to like. Put in a hairdryer.
