I’ve been to the Corazon a few years in a row now, but first time staying at Jay’s place in the Bayview side of the resort. Everything was great and the room was very clean. If there were any issues, the Corazon staff is top tier and will help immediately. Short walk to the downtown marina, bars and restaurants, The Office, and Mango Deck. The only negative about the condo is that the spring bed in the pull-out isn’t very comfortable to sleep on if you’re staying with a group of 6, but usually there’s always a couple friends who don’t mind! Can’t beat this deal for 6 people either way. Would definitely stay here again next trip.

My friends and I had a great stay in Cabo at Jay's place. I like having the lower floor in the Bayview suites due to it's ease of access - up one flight of steps, around the corner and you're in the room. Jay was responsive to all my questions and things couldn't have been smoother. Everyone at the Corazon resort was pleasant to deal with and went out of their way to please - that included front desk, concierge, bartenders, servers, maids, etc. They all worked their butts off.
We golfed two days; played Puerto Los Cabos (awesome course) and a sister course Campestre. We fished 2 days on the Guerita III and absolutely killed the fish. We caught 44 mahi mahi and two big tuna. Kept our limit of the mahi mahi (12 fish ) and the two tuna, filled 3 coolers for a total weight of 100 lb. Had some great meals at Solomons, Puerta Veija, Capt Tony's and Cabo Cantina.
We used the Cabo Grocery Girls, rather than stopping at the store and shopping ourselves. Awesome service, they dropped off our beer, water, booze and food items the Sat of check-in around 5pm. Delivery charge only $25.

This place looks better in person. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us. The jacuzzi was a hit and the end of a long day. The beds were super comfy. Everything is within walking distance.

So it started out confusing with our driver. It's at the Corazon resort. But it we tried to show him the name on the vrbo listing. No Big deal. However upon check in,. I may have missed it, but the hotel list a $10,000 mxn hold on your credit card. I assumed they all do but I just wanted to mention it for those on budget strict vacations. The place was very nice! Pool was really warm. The beach was a short walk away. The beach is full of trousit and locals which makes it nice experience. Of course, mango deck was near which was a little Rowdy but made fun people watching.
Nonetheless, we had a wonderful and location is perfect. Short walks to restaurants incase you didn't want to spend resort prices on food. $15usd for guac and chips.
Room was having a bit of AC on the first night, and the resort maintenance had it fixed within the hour.
We would def stay there again.

Jay notified us that his condo would be having some improvements done during our stay, so Corazon Cabo moved us to 2 1-BR adjoining suites in the hotel area. This is our 2nd stay in Cabo.
Corazon Cabo is a lovely resort, & you can enjoy its many amenities with your stay at Jay's. The upper & lower pools are both nice in their own ways- upper pool is more rowdy/kid-sy, & the lower pool is a more mature crowd (deeper water). There are relatively few children at Corazon, & in Cabo, generally.
Towels are provided. ***Happy hour at the pools is 2p-7p, where you can get delicious BOGO cocktails (ask your server or bartender).
There's a market very close in a high-end mall, for groceries, alcohol, etc. Corazon Cabo, & many other venues, are pretty aggressive about trying to get you to come to 'a breakfast' where you get discounted activities. Unless you like that kind of thing, learn to say 'No, gracias' a lot.
There are numerous excellent restaurants close by- be sure to go to The Office & Edith's. Aleta, Corazon's on-site restaurant, is very good for breakfast, lunch, dinner & cocktails, & poolside, as well. The service & views are both terrific. We had an incredible brunch at Maydan, Casa Dorada's restaurant (walkable). The marina, which is close, & the downtown area also offer great food & drinks. You can't go wrong with fish tacos & margaritas- try a tamarind margarita, for something new.
**Note when the cruise ships are in, & avoid non-resort areas during those times.
Wonderful shopping is at the mall, Plaza Bonita, on the beach, downtown- silver, Oaxacan blankets, Talavera, Mexican vanilla, woven beach bags, folk art... Be aware that anytime you're close to the roped off areas on the beach &/or at restaurants, you will be inundated by vendors.
Do your credit card transactions in pesos, for a better rate & bring extra cash- taxis & vendors only want cash. Get a currency converter app on your phone, to help you out. Per Jay's recommendation, we used TransCabo for our shuttle to Corazon Cabo, but we took a Suburban taxi to the airport- if we had not had cash, it might have been a challenge... Overall, the resort & Cabo were delightful, & we will be back!

Stayed a few nights and took advantage of the Corazon hotel facilities but at a great price compared to the hotel rooms. Unit has partial view but is a low floor and overlooks pool grill kitchen fans - so not best if you are looking for lounging on the porch. Plenty of lovely spots to visit around Corazon Resort though. 360 rooftop bar and Baja Brewing company have amazing views.

The place was great but to let you know the stove top was very dirty there was old pizza in the microwave and kitchen floor was not swept the outside fridge leaked all over floor we did not use . Just letting you know we were very happy with everything but feel you should know on those few little things thank you we would stay there again

I think it’s an excellent property and location I’ve stayed here quite a bit. Perfect for 2 couples just know that the master bathroom doesn’t have a privacy door to the toilet :).

Borrowed Paradise
I had a lovely stay at Bayview 7005. Property was as described and the photos were an accurate representation of the property. It is on a low for but I liked being able to use the stairs when I wanted. The view of the mountains and sky from the interior of the condo always took my breath away. The balcony and jacuzzi were awesome and our group enjoyed the jacuzzi and the awesome view. We were close to the "Office" and Medano beach. It was any easy walk to the Marina area as well. The resort and condo were beautiful and I can't wait to come back. I would rent Jay's place again.

Amazing stay
Everything was perfect. Location, resort was amazing and the people there are so friendly and accommodating. Room and view is as pictured. One issue. The dates were booked correctly on VRBO but reserved in May instead of March through the resort. When we arrived we had no reservations. Emailed property owner and it was never acknowledged. No apologies for the mistake whether it was the property owners or the resorts- so that was disappointing but the room was still available and everything worked out.

Great condo in a great resort!
This was our second time staying at this property and we'll be back again! The resort amenities are amazing and it's great to have the kitchen space and private jacuzzi. Jay is a very responsive host.

We plan to book again for next year!
Our room was beautiful, well stocked and clean. Perfect for a week or an extended stay. We have stayed at Cabo Villas many times, but this was our first time staying in the Bayview building. The trees obstructed our view a bit as we were on the first floor, but we weren’t in our room long enough to care. We could see the Sea of Cortes and the beach was just a walk down the stairs. Jay, the owner was very quick to reply and the booking and contract process went smoothly. The staff at Cabo Villas is amazing! They are so helpful and friendly and become like family by the time you leave. If you’ve never been to Cabo this is a safe, inviting and clean place to come. We will be back many times more in the future. Adios to another great visit!

Overall a great condo and good area
I like to start with the positives. The unit is accurately displayed in the pictures and descriptions. It is clean and very nice and spacious and well stocked as well. The area is great - lots to do with a great beach. We liked our stay a lot. Though there are two areas of concern for some. First, the building and area are not handicap accessible at all - there are lots of steps and hills all over - so be warned. Second, there is construction going on right next to the unit - it didn't bother us though.

Location and comfort
Wonderful stay over New Years week. Cleanliness and comfort of the condo was a plus for our group of six. Coffee in the hot tub each morning watching the sunrise and fishing boats going out was a treat. We enjoy sitting out so the large patio with couch was in constant use each morning and evening. Jay, the owner is quick to respond and even called me days before to answer some of my questions.
Location can't be beat. At least twelve restaurants within one block to walk to for dinner. Not a good choice if you have mobility issues. Many stairs from the beach to the unit. It it 400 steps including stairs from the beach back to the unit. I enjoyed getting the heart rate up after sitting at the beach.
We utilized the beach each day. The pool is small and shady. Great for the little ones. During busy times best to reserve your spot in advance with the attendant. Great service and food. If you enjoy people watching and all the beach action then this is the place. Not a fan of saving chairs in the morning with a towel so reserving the day before was ideal. Mitchel, the attendant, had an I pad with each chair and couch assigned a name.
Construction was never an issue for us even with all the extra stairs added. When finished, this unit will have an excellent location very near and overlooking the new pool.

We had no walking access to the main hotel
We rented this suite and the room was spacious with a full kitchen/washer/dryer and that was very convenient. I have stayed at Cabo Villas for many years (no longer Cabo Villas but now Cache Beach Club) and for the first time I was very disappointed. When we entered the room it lacked cleanliness. (Not any fault of the owner) There was dried liquid running down the kitchen cabinets, the hot tub was empty and torn apart when we arrive and the patio glass table and doors had not been washed. There was also a towel thrown over the balcony that landed on the roof just below that hadn't been picked up as well as a used Q-tip laying on the ground. 😞 We did get the hot tub filled and fixed but couldn't use it the first night.
It had rained one night when we were there and the entire roof above the patio leaked all over the patio furniture and continued to drip on us for a day or so. Had we known they were under MAJOR construction and that our room was set away from the main resort I wouldn't have rented this room. We had to walk up the street and into a makeshift side ramp in order to get to and from the room. We didn't have direct access to the main hotel which was very inconvenient since we were traveling with 5 other people that were close to the pool. We shouldn't have had to pay for the full price of this room just because of this issue alone! It was horrible. Make sure the construction is done before you book this room and that you have access to the main part of the hotel easily. The view was partial. This unit sits right above Edith's and the trees have grown quite a bit and block part of the bay view. I had to raise my camera up high to get a picture.
My review has nothing to do with the owner Jay. He was very attentive and called the management on our behalf. We then got pretty decent room service after the fact. Hopefully things will get better once the construction is done. Rooms should be 1/2 price during this phase of construction. I feel we should have been told about the construction and the lack of hotel access before we decided to book - we paid top price for this room compared to others. We had a great time regardless! The good thing about Cabo is you don't spend too much time in your room. 😉

Great Way to spend the New Year's weekend
Yes, there is loud construction noise, but most of the day you will be at the beach or around the town, so this was not a big issue for us. The condo has an amazing view and is right in the middle of the action with great restaurants, all in walking distance, surrounding the hotel. The best part of the stay was sitting in the balcony jacuzzi while the fireworks surrounded us on New Year's Day.
