About this house rental
Situated in Osterville, this attractive house for $2,231 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. A five minute walk to Osterville's Wianno Club on Seaview Ave and to Dowse's Beach, this four bedroom, four bath home was completely renovated in winter 2019. All new kitchen, 2 new high-end bathrooms and french doors out to a new, covered back porch. Heavy-duty teak table and chairs on covered porch can easily accommodate twelve with extra chairs pulled up to table. The sunny and open kitchen has high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, a Thermador refrigerator, Thermador six burner gas range, Thermador dishwasher, custom maple cabinets, white Corian counter tops and a center island topped with quartzite. New open concept floor plan is what was formerly a galley kitchen, living room and separate eating area. This combined space (Great room) also looks out onto the beautifully planted front yard, a front covered porch with rockers, and the lush and private back yard and pool, heated at your option. Pool area is fenced for safety, has two round tables with chairs that seat 9, five chaise lounges, two outdoor heated showers and a storage box for pool toys. The entire house is WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE (but not ADA compliant) since it is basically all on one level. The step down family room is two steps down from the rest of the house but is open to the other rooms and anyone with mobility issues can still take part in things fairly easily. There is driveway parking for 5 normal sized cars and we have an assortment of five bicycles, two kayaks with life jackets & paddles, a John Deere pull wagon, a ride-on toy for little ones, various pool/beach toys, beach blankets, and beach chairs. For rainy days there is a new Game room on the lower level with state-of-the-art air hockey table from Frontgate (with automatic score keeping and crowd cheering!) and a foosball table. Cards, games, DVDs etc are provided. Three flat screen TVs with Xfinity package provided. New Cape Cod Cornhole game is provided as well. #### New laundry room on the lower level with two new (2018) Electrolux full size machines, iron, ironing board and hanging rack for handwashables. Laundry detergent, starch etc is provided.##### Since owners are enthusiastic cooks and love to entertain, the kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, XL lobster pot and utensils, dishes, bowls, flatware, glasses etc. All linens are included. No need to bring extras unless you have very specialized needs. We provide a beautiful new, full size crib, two baby gates, and a new high chair. Any other specialized equipment you need we ask you to please bring with you. ****All rooms are kept very comfortable with central air conditioning, provided by a Fujitsu mini-split ductless air conditioning system. It is new, virtually silent, and very efficient, bringing the temperature to a comfortable level in minutes. Owners' family business specializes in the installation and maintenance of these systems so the units are kept in great working order. **** ALL CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES MUST BE FOLLOWED AS STATED, OTHERWISE WE MAY HAVE TO DEDUCT EXTRA CLEANING/ ORGANIZING FEES FROM THE SECURITY DEPOSIT ****

We loved our stay! The house was amazing and accommodated our 3 families well. Our trip consisted of 6 adults and 4 kids (ages 2.5, 5.5, 6 and 8). The house was very kid friendly, safe and outfitted with anything and everything you would need. They’ve thought of it all. It also happens to be gorgeous and spacious. We never felt on top of each other. The cooling system was fabulous (and our two weeks were during a heat wave). The location is great. The owners were always very responsive, knowledgeable and pleasant. I would definitely rent here again. We loved it.

Wonderful Stay in Charming Osterville
We had a wonderful stay in Osterville. The town is so lovely, and has all of the charm of a quaint beach town with all of the convenience of larger cities just a short drive away. We loved walking to Dowses Beach (thanks to the provided wagons!) and into town. The house itself was welcoming and clean. My kids adored the pool and the games in the basement! The kitchen had everything we needed for a great stay! The rooms are spacious and the home has been beautifully renovated. The owners were super responsive to any questions we had, but we really had no issues during our stay. We look forward to more opportunities to stay at this beautiful home.

Perfect vacation spot
We have stayed at this property several times and it remains a favorite spot for our family. The house is very clean, well maintained and well stocked. They have carefully thought about the little things such as having beach towels and chairs available, games like corn hole and staple pantry items to use. The house is also quite spacious allowing the family to spread out.
The location of the property is perfect. You are walking distance to the beach and town and a short drive to other beaches and ponds. The heated pool is a big bonus and used frequently by our family. Over the years the Lane family have made improvements including finishing the basement and adding air hockey and a foosball table! Great for rainy days or when you need to get out of the sun.
Overall, when we think of coming to the Cape this is the house the entire family wants to come to!

Amazing property in great location
This property was exactly as advertised. It’s a spacious home that had exactly the right space for our family of 7. It’s an easy walk to a beautiful, sandy beach. The neighborhood is very safe and great for walking/biking. For our early teens it was a safe walk to town for ice cream. The pool and yard was great for family fun. The house has a great kitchen and outdoor eating area and the family rooms were ideal for family game night. Deirdre is very detailed and timely on communications and made the stay easy. Her kindness and enthusiasm went a long way to ensure we had a wonderful time.

Great Stay
This is a beautiful, clean, and very organized home. Amazing location. Check-in was easy and the owner kept is very well-informed prior to check in. The owner provided very rigid rules and guidelines on how we should approach clean up and overall upkeep, but overall it was worth it since the house was so clean and spacious. Overall great experience.

Unbelievable location with proximity to beach and downtown Osterville, plus gorgeous avenues to walk or bike along and just admire other properties. Pool was topnotch as was landscaping (so pretty to look at), air conditioning was super on hot days, rooms are spacious and house has an easy flow, great for extended families to be together but have their own spot to sleep or relax. Also a dream spot for people with disabilities. Our elderly father who is in a wheelchair accompanied us and was able to move around the house with ease, and enjoy the back yard a bit too. Working with Deirdre (the owner) was also one of the easiest and most pleasant interactions we've had (and we've been renting on the Cape for about 20 summers) -- her attention to detail and understanding of specific needs was spot on, and she was just fun to work with. A great vacation for us!

A great escape!
We had an amazing vacation for our two families, including one wheelchair-bound person. The house was immaculate and had many spaces for any of the nine of us to cuddle up with a good book or movie. The pool was a great bonus (we paid to have it heated) and Deirdre provided beach towels and other little bonuses that helped us all have a great time (like air hockey in the basement)! The neighborhood is beautiful and great for walking or running, and we walked to the local beach several times. We are already considering booking again for next year!

Our family vacation was perfect. The home was beautiful and so well thought out. We had everything we needed and MORE! From kitchen items to beach towels to kayaks and bikes and a warm

Fantastic rental
The owners have really outdone themselves with the recent renovations of this property. Everything has been thought of and tastefully decorated. The pool was fantastic and enjoyed daily by my children. The house is extremely organized which makes it so easy to vacation in, easy to find everything. Close to town, close to the beach. Exceptional owner responsiveness, it felt like we were staying with family. We happened to be on the Cape when a rare tornado hit, Dedire was responsive and helpful during the power outage and even stopped by with candles. We will definitely be back!

A bit of paradise.....
A beautiful rental. The house was spacious and had everything you can imagine. Many updates. Nautical decor.Pool was outstanding. Never saw grounds so well manicured.
This was our first visit to Osterville despite many vacations to the Cape. The town is quiet, less traffic, and great restaurants. Close to the beaches.
Owner was very responsive to our needs.

perfect vacation getaway
This property was the perfect place for my family to relax, enjoy and have fun. The house was spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood was lovely and a wonderful place to take lazy walks or bike rides. The weather was perfect the week we were there and the pool was the perfect addition to an already perfect location. Walks to the beach were long enough to get a bit of exercise yet close enough to feel comfortable. The owner was accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. Overall I would highly recommend this home as a great vacation getaway.

Perfect for family and a Great Location
We were a family of 10, 6 adults 4 children, and really enjoyed staying at this location. It was very family and kid friendly with the pool, and a garage filled with fun activities for the kids to play with. We felt very secure with fences in the back of the house and around the pool. The only problem was one of the bedrooms didn't have air conditioning and unfortunately it was very warm the week we were there but otherwise everything was so nice. We would highly recommend this house for a fun family vacation.

We absolutely loved our stay in Osterville!! The house was amazing and the location was perfect.
This property was perfect for our whole family! The inground pool and beautiful gardens were the icing on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Cape! Crisp pizza was delicious and our girls loved making s’mores there. We had everything we needed at the house!

Beautiful home and excellent location.
We rented this house for a weekend for a small sibling reunion- twin sisters (age 69), brother (79) and another sister (85) and two spouses. Plenty of room for the six of us. Four of the family have some mobility issues so the one floor living was perfect. Beautifully landscaped and a good sized pool although we did not use the pool- too cool in late September.
Deirdre was very responsive in answering any questions we had.

Great getaway!
Wonderful, roomy home. The pool was such a plus. We had the owner heat it for an extra charge so our Irish company could enjoy it. Everything you need is in the home. The owner, Deirdre, was very responsive and helpful. Location is beautiful and everything is a short car drive or a long walk away.

Absolutely perfect place for family getaways
The home, the pool, and location were amazing. Spacious for our group (6 adults and 3 toddlers). Close to everything. Game room was a hit. Plus the home has everything you need. Bikes, kayaks, grill, lobster pots. Wonderful experience. We will be back!

and fun - (especially the heated pool!), and the house location was perfect; in a quiet, safe neighborhood and very convenient to the beach!

Warm & wonderful home... Fun for the whole family!
Our week in Osterville will be a treasured memory for many years for all members of our family. The house is obviously loved by its owners and we appreciate their sharing it with us. We spent many hours outside - enjoying breakfast at the teak table on the patio, playing KanJam in the rear yard, preparing BBQ at the grill, and most especially enjoying the fabulous "extra" - the pool. The grounds are beautifully landscaped around the entire property with many varieties of shrubs and flowering bushes that provide a range of color and texture as well as privacy.
We loved the easy walk/ ride to Dowses beach, a great family beach where we spent lots of time in the warm water, collecting shells, sunning (with SPF of course!) and enjoying the perfect weather we were lucky enough to have for the whole week. Our family really enjoyed exploring the bay area in the two kayaks provided and we were happy to have use of the bikes provided also.
At night, the home was comfortable for dinner in the large dining area and for gathering in the family room to cheer on the Red Sox on the large TV (even thought we had several Yankees fans with us!) Air hockey competition was also evident at the game tables in the garage.
Deirdre was an extremely gracious and responsive host, answering all our needs and questions fully and immediately. Thank you Deirdre and Chris for our fabulous week at Wianno Escape!

A Wonderful Property!!
Well maintained home with a fabulous pool as the highlight. With the beach less than a half mile walk the clean clear water of the pool lured the young ones from the beach most every day. With plenty of tables and chairs many meals were enjoyed outdoors. Our one day of rain was spent in the game room with air hockey and foosball. Additionally, the wonderful family room was the adults retreat after the children were in bed. Close to Hyannis and other great eating/ice cream spots minutes away. A wonderful property for a great week!

Inviting and comfortable home!
Wianno House was a great place for our family of 6 adults and 3 kids. The garage had fun toys for our kids to play and many adult bikes to ride. The walk to the beach was an easy 1/2 mile and the pool was the best part. The kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen gadgets that you would need and the dining room table easily fit all of us. Deirdre was so kind and communicated with us often before the trip. Highly recommend this place!

This is a wonderful property - a sprawling house with plenty of space for all. Great attention to detail - so many interesting and eye-catching decorations, and fully stocked to meet our needs, from board games to bar items. It was the outside that really made it for me though...the grounds are spectacular, and it was lovely to be outside enjoying the pool, the flowers and the quiet! With the beach just down the street, this is the perfect package. The owner was very helpful and responsive to questions and concerns.

A very well-cared for home, immaculate yard and landscaping. Located in a charming neighborhood just a 5 minute walk to the beach or to town. The owner was extremely responsive to communications and clearly cares for her home (not just a rental). Plenty of space to spread out, home was exactly as described. Highly recommend! Bikes and kayaks in the garage were a nice perk too. One side note: there was not great wifi (it really only worked in 1-2 rooms of the house) and cell reception (AT&T) was spotty in this neighborhood, so it's perfect if you want to unplug but maybe not the best if you need a lot of internet connectivity.
