Situated in Jamaica Beach, this charming house for $357 per night is a great option for your next vacation. See Haus cozy beachfront cabin - gorgeous ocean view from the large breezy deck. A mile of State Park beaches are next door for bird watching, fishing, sunsets, bay trails. 1 Bedroom - King Size Bed, 2nd Bedroom - 2 Twin Beds with TV, - 2 couches in living room with TV. Kitchen equipped with Drip Coffee Maker, Microwave, Dining table and breakfast bar. Cable TV, DVD, and WIFI provided. Ground Level: Wooden pathway leading to the beach, Charcoal Grill, Outdoor seating, Outdoor shower and washer /dryer. Small pups allowed with $115 nonrefundable fee. Jamaica Beach Community Pool opens Memorial Day-Labor Day. Tuesday-Sunday. Daily passes can be purchased at the pool $5.00. Boat launch permits has a fee of $12.00 a day. Please let the office know if you will be purchasing permits. No smoking on property.. Even when provided, Internet Access/Cable service can be unreliable on West Galveston Island. We apologize, but we cannot guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay and are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services. NO PROMS GROUPS OR GRADUATIONS MUST BE 25 TO RENT.

Great stay! The location cannot be beat, unobstructed ocean views! And a little wooden walkway that takes you over the dunes. Great beach house overall. If you have little kids/toddlers be prepared! There are LOTS of "decorations", seashells, puzzles with a millions pieces, ect all in reach of the littles. However, they loved all the haning decor from the ceilings and on the walls. We had a great time!

See Haus was excellent in all respects. Clean. Comfortable for our small group. Easy access to beach. Well equipped with many extras. Beach themed nic-nacs galore with so much to look at. Well maintained. A few reviews were not complimentary. This place is cozy and comfy, not extravagant but also not pricey. Money and time well spent.

This small beach house is precious! Lovely, beach decor and relaxing vibe the minute you step inside! The king size bed was a plus and very comfortable! We love the area and decided to try out a new place in Jamaica Beach! This home did not disappoint! It’s just the two of us and most of the waterfront homes are way too large for put wants and needs!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did enjoy our stay. The house needs a very deep cleaning as it has a lot of decorations with years of dust built up on those and the light fixtures. The walkway to the beach was unsteady and hazardous. We had to pound hand holds into the sand so we didn’t fall. The washer and dryer didn’t work but the owner did credit us for that. The AC couldn’t cool to below 80 in the heat of the day. The location was amazing, the beaches were clean and the property management company was easy to work with. I think the price was high for all the updating and repairs needed. Hopefully they’ll fix that in the future.

Surprised no dish washer or garbage disposal but OK. Cute cottage close to beach that was public very crowded beach that allowed cars on beach. Good information provided. Realtor couldn’t have been more responsive. A nice experience

We stay here every year and each year it gets better. It’s a tranquil ocean getaway with a direct path to the beach from the home. There’s a washer and dryer on site to wash away the beach before you pack up. The property is pet friendly and our fur family loves to explore the beach. The Galveston State Park shoreline is a few yards down, so there’s always a place to roam without hordes of beachcombers. The views from the house are spectacular ! The landscaping around the house is gorgeous, and I love reading on the swing bench below the patio in the morning. We have two teenage sons and there’s always plenty of room. There’s an extra toilet downstairs, which is helpful if you do want to run upstairs from the beach. You don’t need a golf cart. Next year we might bring a wagon for bringing things down to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at See Haus! It was the perfect size for our little family and provided the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. It was very hot outside, however, and the AC was not able to maintain temperature during the day; we had to run the AC constantly and during the day the house would get up to 82 degrees, which was difficult with an infant. If you visit when the temperatures are 90 or below it will likely not be an issue.

This was a great little house right on the beach! There is a wooden walkway that takes you from the house to the beach. Note that the beach is public access and people are allowed to park their cars in front of the house. So I just got up early and parked the car there to reserve our spot. It wasn't a big issue as long as you know what you're getting into. We had so much fun! Easy access to Galveston, there are a few grocery stores and small restaurants nearby (just look on Google maps). No ice maker in the fridge but the property manager made sure the ice trays were full for us on arrival. The house was clean and everything worked as expected when we were there. Thanks a lot for the stay!

We loved the home and location. It was perfect for us. The only problem was the flying bugs and mosquitoes. They were eating us alive and had to leave early. Will return at a different time of the year.

It is literally steps away from the beach, which is why I chose it in the first place. The rental agents were very friendly and made check in and out easy. There are a lot of resources close by (groceries, coffee shop, food truck, bar & grill) if you need them. Some of the previous comments were pretty harsh, but I would say that the place is ‘rustic’, and maybe not for a certain clientele. It was clean and comfortable, kitchen was utilitarian but worked fine for us. Great property for the price. I’ll certainly rent there again.

A chatskey shop threw up in there - not a place to see a bare wall or shelf UGH! Extremely dirlty kitchen and everything in it had to wash everything before using. Kitchen drawers very hard to open & close. Very uncomfortable chairs and couches, very hard on my back. An awning on porch would be so very nice. Laundry room UGH. We stayed 14 days didn't have enough dish towels or t towels to dry dishes. No dishwasher. Mosquitos OMG. In spite of all this we stayed and had a good time.

Loved this property. It was quiet, just big enough for the two of us and our dogs. Right on the beach with a great back deck to sit, relax and enjoy the waves. Close enough to great restaurants. Didn’t want to leave!

This propery was exactly as advertised. Very clean and charming. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Everything was in good working order, including a/c, tv, and wifu internet. We stayed with our two dogs and had a lovely weekend.

This was perfect for our getaway to the beach to celebrate our anniversary. This is a small 2 bedroom place with one bath, you could take 2 kids especially if your out all day playing, but it would be tight with bigger kiddos. We took our two small dogs. The A/C was fine at night but struggled at hottest part of day but caught up quick when it was sundown. we cooked all our meals at the house and had everything we needed in the kitchen. my only gripe was that the heating elements on electric stove were bent up and it was hard to keep a pan/pot from sliding off while cooking. The location was awesome and we will be back for sure, we love Jamaica Beach!
