Phenomenal but expensive!

The staff were phenomenal! But shout out to Armas and Alan and the lads by the pool. You made our stay 1000x better. The rooms were super comfortable. Food was great although extremely expensive for dinner.

The music at the pool was a little repetitive, but much better on the beach. The food for dinner, although fantastic, was extremely overpriced. Dinner costing $200/300 per night…portions for this cost were small. The hotel is a little out of the way with not much around it, although a taxi to Cabo San Juan is only $10 each way. As a side note, get an Uber from the airport not the official taxi. You’ll save yourself $40 each way.

Exceptional

I would like to share my review of Hotel El Ganzo, as there aren't any reviews that accurately depict what you can expect when you visit. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and assisted by Rosendo, who kindly showed us around and helped us with our luggage. The front desk staff, Paola and Braulio, and their team were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It's difficult to find words that adequately describe this hotel—it truly is one of a kind. The music, art, staff, and food all contributed to making this place feel like a paradise. The dining experience was outstanding across all of the restaurants. The breakfast at El Restaurant was particularly memorable, with fresh and delicious food. The staff, especially Sarai, always made sure that our dining experience and overall stay were exceptional. One of the highlights of Hotel El Ganzo is its rooftop, which offers an incredible view of the ocean. The staff there, including Jose and another waitress whose name I can't recall, were fantastic. The food served on the rooftop was outstanding—truly deserving of a perfect score. Although my husband and I usually enjoy exploring outside the hotel when we are on vacation, this time, we spent our entire holiday at the hotel because it was so captivating. The private beach was a wonderful addition, with an amazing restaurant and attentive staff. Even the restroom facilities were exceptionally clean—a detail that is important to me. The housekeeping service was outstanding, ensuring that our room was always sparkling clean. I must mention the tacos food truck at the hotel, which served some of the best tacos I've ever had. Furthermore, the hotel offers various activities throughout the week, such as yoga classes, flamenco nights, and DJ performances. They have a spa and a music studio. There is always something happening at Hotel El Ganzo, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

Everything was great, nothing to add.

Absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful rooftop, amazing customer service, comfortable beds. Everyone was incredibly attentive, especially Benjamin, Joh, Paola, Manuel, Alan ( rooftop) and our favorite server Antonio. Maricela one of our cleaning ladies was super kind,and did an excellent job.

We had a lovely time, no complaints.

Thoughtfully designed property with excellent staff

Excellent quiet location - highly recommend for a relaxing getaway. Gorgeous views from seemingly every room of the property. Beautiful and interesting art all over! Excellent food and drinks with attentive service. Nice running path around the marina and a few cute shops in the area. There are one or two companies that do fishing/scuba/etc tours within walking distance. I already want to go back! it was great.

I wish they had oatmilk! They make lovely non-dairy lattes but I wish oatmilk would have been an option.

Really great. Highly recommend for a 5 day trip.

My husband and I traveled to San Jose Los Cabos for a friend's wedding. The wedding party stayed at a large 5 star resort but we wanted something different. La Ganzo is an amazing hotel, funky, fun, beautiful, perfectly sized and thoughtfully built. We had an amazing time. It was relaxing but also really fun. The rooftop is amazing, the beach club is fantastic and there are so many great outdoor spaces to enjoy (fire pits, night time music on the patio). I also loved the on site restaurant and bars. I can't wait to return.

very unique spot.

The location was perfect as we were leaving on a scuba liveaboard and the boat departed from the dock in front of the hotel. the whole “art vibe” was cool.

loved how secluded it was, not right in downtown Cabo which is what we wanted. the rooftop was amazing. loved the tub in the room. only wish there were more food options around other than main restaurant.

the restaurant choices were limited. no sanitizing wipes in gym :-(

Staff was amazing and rooms were comfortable and fun. Lots of art around the hotel. They have a rooftop pool and jacuzzi. Take a boat for a 2 minute ride to their beach club/beach.

if you are a foodie, love comfort, love tanning, beach weather, drinking… this is the place! also endless photo ops.

the staff made the hotel experience worth so much more. they are the true definition of amazing customer service. they were attentive for every single need. the property was absolutely breath taking, the rooftop service and pool, the room, the private beach, the restaurants, the room service. I loved everything about it.

when booking I honestly didn’t know it would be a bit far from other places but because the hotel had everything available in their property it wasn’t much to go out for.
