We had 10 wonderful days at this bungalow, What a great location!! Clean, very well stocked with everything you could possibly need, comfy bed, great showers! Had beautiful weather and enjoyed sitting out front by the water, meeting so many friendly people and watching the boats go by. Great that we could walk to downtown NPR. We would definitely stay again!

The house was exactly as advertised and the location was perfect for our visit. Upon arrival we had difficulty getting into the house because the email I received gave us the wrong key box entry code. Fortunately I was able to contact the owner and obtained the correct code. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were amply stocked with towels. The owner was super nice and really cared that we enjoyed our stay. Overall, we had a great stay at the house.

We were in town for my Mom’s 80th Birthday. My husband, sister and I stayed at this lovely bungalow. Everything was very clean and we especially enjoyed the thoroughly equipped kitchen. A highlight was sitting on the screened front porch watching the river and walking out to the dock for sunset. My sister and I enjoyed our daily walk into downtown and Sim’s Park. Sheila is a delightful host and was very responsive. Thank you for providing such a lovely vacation home filled with attention to detail and everything we needed.

Plum crazy has a very comfy feel.

I loved how the house faces the water and looking out the front window or sitting on the porch gives you such a pretty view of the cottee river. My husband and myself enjoyed having access to a dock where we sat every morning and had our coffee. I also loved the access to the water by kayak right off the dock. The house has modern kitchen and bathrooms but the furniture and flooring is antique just like the house. Simply charming and we would definitely stay again.

Very cozy, clean and comfortable

Very cozy, clean and comfortable

I felt completely at home. Kitchen was well organized and stocked with essentials like COFFEE!! Beautifully decorated and not a dust ball in sight. SUPER CLEAN. Mornings were spent on the bench next to the water after walking to town (less than 1/2 mile) for my iced coffee. Loved my stay and will absolutely rent again when I am in the area.

Absolutely Amazing!!

Absolutely Amazing!!

All of us were impressed as soon as we walked in the door. This bungalow was absolutely precious, cozy and talk about well stocked!!! Even kids dishes were in the cupboards! We would certainly recommend a stay here as we will certainly choose to stay again!

We enjoyed our short stay at Plum Crazy Bungalow. The house is located in a pleasant setting. The Cotee River is right across the street and there is a segment of paved walkway along the water. The house is cozy and cute, with a big screened front porch facing the river. Sheila, the owner, was responsive to our questions. There happened to be a holiday-lighted boat parade one evening during our stay. We sat on the property's private pier and watched the decorated boats pass by. We would definitely consider staying here the next time we are visiting the area.

The house is in a very nice neighborhood and the river and dock worked out great for out boat. The marina close by and there are many good restaurants on the river (we enjoyed Whiskey Joes).

This cottage is so well appointed literally everything you need just bring groceries and enjoy! Two bedrooms with their own access to the two bathrooms it's perfect for privacy and close to town, fishing right out front...5 min drive to Walmart and other shopping. No complaints at all. Only thing I would say if you don't like firm beds then perhaps it isn't for you. I put a spare blanket under the sheet under me for some extra softness. Otherwise we just loved it.

The only thing that keeps me from giving this property "5 Stars" is the very limited cable package - nothing to see but local broadcast stations which we hardly watch. There was a nice big-screen TV and were disappointed we couldn't access any cable channels. (i.e. Fox News, Nat Geo, Discovery, HGTV, etc.). Other than that, it was great.

This property is in a picture perfect setting with all the charm of old Florida. Our family enjoyed Christmas and felt at home thanks to the warm welcome with cookies waiting. Coffee in the afternoon on the front porch watching the boats roll up and down the river very relaxing. Can't wait for our next visit.

We have rented homes before but this one really stands out. The house is great. 2 great bathrooms and 2 nice size bedrooms that allowed for so much privacy. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Great location. Sheila was very cordial and pleasant to deal with. She made us feel very welcome with a nice plate of choc chip cookies upon our arrival.

So relaxing!

My mom and I loved our three days at this charming bungalow! It's in a quiet neighborhood away from the tourists, but close enough to all the sights to make a great home base. It's very comfy with a variety of spaces to hang out and relax, and a beautify river only steps away. My mom had never stayed at a rental home and was very impressed at the quality of the furnishings and comfort...we would have loved to stay longer! Note that you'll want to bring all ingredients for meal prep (oil, herbs, etc. that we've found at some other homes), but the kitchen is fully stocked with any pot, casserole dish, etc., you would like. This might be to deter insects, which I also appreciate! Sheila was very quick answering questions and helped me with my complicated booking issues. I can't say enough good things about this bungalow or the owner.

This home was so comfortable. Our trip was for a funeral and Sheila had a late check out and went out of her way to accommodate our stay. We are so thankful for her. Thank you for the stay and If I need to come to this area again I will want to see if I could book this Sheila place again. Nice view of the water. Very clean.

Our stay was 5 star! It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect. The community was so friendly and we enjoyed our walks there. Sheila had many extra amenities at her place that we appreciated. If we come back to this area we will see if this cozy bungalow is available.

We really enjoyed our 3 month stay. It's very close to Sim's Park, restaurants and the River walk across the street is a wonderful place to walk. Sheila is terrific hostess with many suggestions of things to do in the area.

Sheila was very accomodating. I had an emergency and was only able to give Sheila about a half a days notice. She was actually on her way out of town but took time out to clean up the house for me before she took off. The house is lovely, very clean and even more comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. And the view is lovely. There were waters available in the fridge and pretty much everything you might need. Thanks again Sheila. I cant express to you enough how I appreciate your hispitality.

Just what we needed!

Just what we needed!

A wonderful getaway from the cold New England winter. Before, during and after our stay, Sheila could not have been easier to work with. This bungalow was so cozy and very very comfortable. The decor fit the house wonderfully. Everything you need is in place in the kitchen and baths! We were unaware that. Something called the Chasco Fiesta would take place at Sims Park during our stay and wondered if it would interfere with our daily walks along the river to the park - or how noisy it would be. No worries as by the time we walked back "home" the noise was behind us. We brought the bungalow camp chairs to the parade and joined in with everyone else clammoring for beads! So much fun. We will try to return if the bungalow is available when we are, but for now, thank you Sheila! John and Jude
