Week end enogastronomico

Abbiamo alloggiato nella casetta di legno. Molto comoda e carina (i bambini erano entusiasti) con mini frigo e bagno con doccia. Location immersa nel verde. Possibilità di utilizzare sauna e jacuzzi oltre alla piscina esterna riscaldata. Colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata. Personale gentilissimo.

Fabulous! I highly recommend it.

What a fabulous place to stay! We were only here one night but would have loved to stay longer. Our room in the main building was gorgeous, beautifully renovated with gorgeous view. My brother and nephew were in the chalets which had great AC. Small but comfortable. The pool and bar were lovely and perfect for a hot afternoon. The staff was very friendly and helpful! they even have a little electric golf cart you can use to bring your luggage from the parking to the room. This is a great location for visiting the Ferrari museum which is only 25 minute drive away.

We had a small wooden tipi like house for our kids. Very spacious and well equipped. We as parents had a brick house just outside the gate. This was brand new spacious extremely clean. We visited Ferrari in Maranello and afterward a Parmigiano Reggiano factory so it was situaties very well

Very good

Beautiful property up in the mountains - around 40 minutes to Modena and Bologna which makes it an ideal base for day trips around these areas. Beautiful views and what a gift to wake up everyday to nothing but bird sounds and church bells playing a tune every 7:00 am. Swimming pool and the property in general is kept clean everyday. Georgia from the reception is a gem - she is so welcoming and goes out of her way to meet the needs of the guests. There are about 8 units so expect to share the facilities with other families - but this did not bother us. We met some very nice people and had good conversations. There is a supermarket close by - around 7 minutes drive from the property.

Beware that the drive up to the property is via a narrow steep road - not designed for wide cars. We only had some centimeters on each side of our car that made some of the sharp turns uncomfortable- and we never dared to do the climb when it was dark so we always made sure we were back already before sunset. This narrow steep drive is short, it is manageable and should not scare you from staying in this property. Just be aware to come during daylight on your first drive up. NOTE: the on-site restaurant is under renovation when we came and there was therefore no option for dinner on-site at the moment. If this is an important criteria for you, make sure to call before booking to check when the restaurant will open again.

Lovely stay with the swimming pool

We liked the location, it is located in hilly green area. The swimming pool was lovely. Our house was just in front of the pool. The breakfast was also lovely and plenty. The stuff was friendly.

Friendly staff, nice view, nice breakfast. One of our group was booked in one of the facilities pictured and enjoyed it. Very interesting area.

Pool and bar were unavailable after 7. Two of us ended up in very small, newly added prefabricted units that were nice but difficult to manuever around in. Read carefully to be sure you know what you are booking.

Very good

The pool and the playgrounds are great for kids. The view from the hill is spectacular. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable.

The breakfast wasn't that great. Most of the things were just taken out of the package. The stone house was beautiful but quite moldy. The walls were wet and there were many spots where the paint was coming off due to mold. It's a real shame, because it is a lovely place.

Wonderful reasonable place for families.

Such a great staff. Very welcoming and kind. Beautiful property and wonderful for families. The space was clean, neat, relaxing.

No soap for sink. Could have soap for kitchen sink and bathrooms. Just one small bar for each sink would be nice.

Very good

The staff were helpful. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. A great outside seating area with a view. The heated pool was very nice, especially having it open still in October.

Only two pans in the kitchen worked on the induction hob - the rest were useless. There was no soap supplied. The restaurant was closed, even though on the website it states it is open Friday and Saturday.

We absolutely loved it! Staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful, the place is beautiful.

It was fabulous, whatever we asked for they used to bring it for us. The staff were so lovely and very happy to help.

Nothing, it was honestly fabulous. We will definitely be back.

Good place but needs to improve air conditioner and breakfast

Calm and relaxing place with a great swimming pool; big room.

Air conditioning was not working properly- too noisy and didn’t cool the room; breakfast was not always good; swimming pool looked dirty on Sunday.

Perfect location; There is no air conditioning in the main building is a setback during summer

Golfcar availability is fun. Pool is nice as the view from the Castello. Staff is very friendly though communication is easier if you speak a little bit of Italian.

As there was a heatwave during our stay, lack of air conditioning in the main building was a bit of a setback during the night.

Breakfest was very disappointing. Snacks on the pool area were very cheap. Shower is with massage tubes but very narrow.

No aircon which when it’s hot makes it a bit hot in the rooms! Even though it was late June a lot of facilities where not open!

A good overnight sleep in a lovely location.

Warm welcome from helpful and friendly staff. Good sized room with lovely vistas over the trees and grounds. Kitchenette facilities although, if stayed again, the restaurant menu looked appetizing. The grounds and gardens to enjoy walking around. Extensive breakfast served under cover on the terrace overlooking the town. The pool was beautiful and heated.....we didn't expect it to be open until May so didn't take a dip!

We stayed in the King Room with garden view. Only one thing...there is an interconnecting door (obviously locked for our stay) between the bedroom and the adjoining king room. We did hear a little evening and night time noise from the adjoining occupants as am sure they heard of us but, thankfully, it did not upset our stay.

Chalet was special place to sleep, everything you want and need for breakfast, super lovely woman at the breakfast, good shower and hot water in shower, chalet has a heating, well equipped kitchen, nice place to spend a few days with pool (in summer), jacuzzi and sauna

Relaxing 3-day/2-night stay on the hills near Modena

Good options for a basic continental (i.e., croissants, jam, etc.) or English breakfast (i.e., eggs, meat). The breakfast spot is outdoor and offers a great view of the valley (at night, it also serves as a restaurant; we haven't tried it, but the dishes looked nice). It's nice that people can reserve time at the indoor jacuzzi pool. (Even if the jacuzzi pool is indoor, the door leading to it is always open, maintaining the room always ventilated.) In our apartment (2-floor apartment w/ 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms), the kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, plates, etc. Nice location for bike rides along the Panaro river. Nice playground toys for kids 5 or younger. Great location to visit Modena or Maranello.

Water in the swimming pool was a bit chilly. No living room or couch inside the apartment (we stayed in the two-floor apartment w/ kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms). All windows in the apartment had mosquito screens (which was great), but several of them wouldn't close properly. It'd be nice to "cover" the dining area outside the apartment with an umbrella. We brought our e-bikes, but there was no inside place where we could leave our bikes (so we left them outside; there were no bike racks); it'd also be nice to have some power plugs outside the apartment to recharge the bikes. We couldn't get the TVs to work (though we didn't ask).

Nice place with wonderful view.

The pool, jacuzzi, and breakfast were great.

The beds were stiff and there was bugs inside the rooms. Other than that it was great!

Nice location, lots of privacy We were staying in appt 3 & 4, we had our own private terrace. Very nice!
