Situated in Nantucket, this charming cottage for $1,180 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Light and airy, charming Cape Cod cottage five minutes walk to Main Street. Lovely private yard with wonderful gardens of roses and hydrangeas and stone patio. Beautifully decorated in Shaker style, wide pine floors, and tiled bathrooms. Three bedrooms (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and study; two full bath rooms, upstairs and down. Central air conditioning. Fully equipped modern kitchen with range, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, disposal, range, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and washer/dryer. Patio furniture and grill, outdoor shower. Linens and beach towels provided. Off street parking for two cars. Free WiFi. Cable TV in all bedrooms, den, and living room. Property abuts conservation land and bird sanctuary. The cottage has all of the advantages of being in-Town, yet with the privacy, peace and quite of the country. Bike path across the street. Close to all beaches. Very nice home, under a mile from town center. Clean, relaxed, very nice place. Only drawback was next to hospital, so rare helicopter arriving.

The house was great, the kids loved the big back yard!! The path to get to town was right outside the back door. Neighbors the the hospital (on the other side of a huge field), which ended up being convenient when we needed to run to the ER but never heard an ambulance or any noise from there. Robert was really easy to work with too.

Disappointed
We had such high hopes staying here. Location was not as close to town as described. Especially if you have kids, it’s a long walk through narrow one way streets. We ubered the majority of the time and spent way too much money doing so. House is also on a very busy street, cars racing by. Area stores and restaurants that were within somewhat walking distance were not very comfortable as the class of people coming in and out made us a feel a little unsafe. Construction going on two houses down so it was loud. Gas grill was filthy and looked like it hadn’t be cleaned in years. It really should have been ready to use right away, instead we spent the first afternoon scrubbing and cleaning it so it was usable. Patio furniture was pretty sad looking. Patio was not a very comfortable place to sit as the yard needs to be manicured and trees should be cut back. Back yard is private except people do walk on the path to the left of the house. Bathrooms weren’t great or clean feeling. No water pressure in shower. Upstairs bathroom had a leaky toilet so floor and rugs were always wet. Looks like they had previous water issues from toilet as kitchen ceiling was cracking and had water dripping in spots at times. Owner was responsive and apologetic the first night we arrived after pullout couch was in filthy condition from not being cleaned (dead bugs and dirt/dust)
Upstairs queen bed super uncomfortable, mattress has to be 20+ years old. Not a great few days of sleeping as we had hoped it would be. It could be a budget friendly spot to stay but needs some updates and a thorough deep clean.

Great location, great space, allergy heaven
Although we really enjoy the house itself especially the backyard garden, there was a lot of mold that affected a lot of are allergies. We recommend just a deep clean and this house will be perfect!

Six of us stayed the weekend for the Christmas stroll. Communications with the owner were great and he was flexible. Nice comfortable home in a good location. Walked to town during the day and was able to use Uber at night. House is equipped with everything we needed. Very much enjoyed our stay and will look to return

Apparently there had been a leak the previous year that may have contributed to the issues. Overall, our interaction was friendly and informal - much like it was elsewhere on beautiful Nantucket. This being our first stay, we felt like we found a good little spot to enjoy a range of activities and have room to spread out.

Surprised we all didn’t end up at hospital next door bloody noses , coughing , wheezing , puffed eyes all from being trapped inside a moldy dirty house so not with Covid policy cleaners spent 1 hr been coming to ACK for 20 yrs don’t stay at this house

We had a great time, Boise was perfect for our stay. Had all the amenities that we needed. Robert was more than helpful and accommodating. Would stay again!!

Cozy Cottage
Booking and communicating with owner were easy. All supplies for kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms were supplied and appreciated. Plenty of space to spread out. Back yard was private and pleasant. Inspite of Covid and mask requirement in town, a great time was had by all.

Lovely Home
Rented the house for a girls weekend. Worked out well! Everything was wonderful and clean. The walk to town is not too long (as long as you're not in heels). Uber is all over the island so grabbing a ride wasn't an issue. Highly recommend staying here...will definitely be back!

Carefree
Booking was very easy, accessing the property was very easy. The property was clean, the beds were very comfortable. Everything that you need is provided for you so you don't have to worry about carrying anything from the ferry to the house other than your personal belongings. The best part was when leaving everything is taken care of for you. We just cleaned up a bit. The cleaning company comes in right after you leave. The property is beautiful and very quiet. You can hear the church bells ring in the morning and you can hear the fairy whistles if you listen. You are about a mile from downtown. There is a grocery store very close by. This is considered Mid Island. I would definitely recommend this home for your stay. It was very cozy and large enough for all 6 of us. The property backs to a park. A trail runs along side of the property. I love to run and thought that was a great perk.

Great house, plenty of room, not a 5 min walk to Main Street
Great place with more room than we even needed. Everything was clean and comfortable. Only issue is that the property is not a 5 min walk to Main Street as advertised. Its about 15 and then a 10 min walk to town. Its doable but distance with grandparents and children was more than we could do so we ended up taking lots of Ubers.

It's a beautiful clean comfortable home with all the needed amenities.
My sister's family had a wonderful stay in this house during my daughter's wedding. They walked several times into town and enjoyed doing so.
The house is beautifully furnished and has all the amenities anyone could want.
Dr. Sarvis was very responsive to our questions and needs.
It was a very good value and we highly recommend it.

Great house and location
House was great and nicer in person than pictures make it seem. Backyard was lovely to relax and enjoy in the afternoon. You can walk to the grocery store and a few other stores under 10 mins. Downtown is more like a 15-20 min walk or easy Uber ride away. There’s a master on the first floor and upstairs is a full/queen bedroom with a small couch, additionally upstairs is a bedroom with two twin beds and a separate room that has a couch that pulls out to a bed. Would prob be best suitable for kids. Upstairs has shared bathroom. Downstairs kitchen and living room were open and roomy considering the size of the house.

Beautiful place
The cottage is beautiful both inside and out. The location is also excellent. The backyard is private and the landscaping is phenomenal. Very private, large enough for a family with all the amenities you could want. I would definitely recommend it or stay again if I went to the island.

Great cottage on the edge of town
Close to the heart of town yet next to a green nature preserve. We were able to stay here without a car -- renting bikes, walking and taking an occasional taxi. Also close to the Sparks Avenue stores and restaurants. We took 20-30 minute bike rides to 3 different beaches. We hope to return.
