most was excellent. a couple of unwashed wine glasses not welcome, nor was the expectation of vacuuming the carpet

Very good

Very well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated in a perfect location among the gum trees. We loved the environment and the visiting wildlife - even had an echidna visit while enjoying a cuppa on the veranda!

Unfortunately our stay coincided with 2 extreme heat days and, despite closing all curtains and closing doors, the air conditioner really struggled - too hot to venture outside and uncomfortable inside unless staying under the air conditioner.

A gem in the Grampians

Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. Well equipped and very modern bathrooms.

The fact that a brand new metal house was built right next door obscuring the view. This is not reflected on the pictures.

Would go back again. Loved it there. The birds are real characters and added to the stay!

The setting was supurb. Wonderful veiws and sceenery. Great wildlife. Facilities were fabulous.

The fridge and backsplash hadn’t been cleaned. The previous occupants obviously were unaware to take the dishwashing cube out of its plastic packet. That was in the bottom of the dishwasher. Other than that, the place was very clean.

The 2 bathrooms. Layout of the house.

House seemed like it had not been cleaned or poorly cleaned. We were requested to clean before we left. This should be part of the rental.

An excellent stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay at Halls Gap.

Location is excellent - very close to the Main Street.

There were two of us staying there but we didn’t get two sets of towels, so had to split the available towels between us.

Nice place spoiled by some unclean facilities.

Excellent location. Quiet. Surrounded by roos and cockies. Mostly furnished and provided well. Kitchen particularly good. Netflix was a bonus. Bathrooms excellent.

BBQ was filthy and nothing provided to clean it. Got it as clean as I could to use it and cleaned it afterwards. The wood heater was not cleaned. Didn't use it. Wi Fi was spotty. A/C not reverse cycle. Bed a bit hard. Paper towels and tissues not provided. Bedside clock radio would have been good.

A lovely spot and a great place to use as a 'base' to explore what the Grampians has to offer.

Location was terrific, house was comfortable, bright, clean and warm. All necessary components were on hand and in good condition. Mattress was good and firm. local wildlife a real bonus. easily accessible location and very quiet. Provision of cooking oil was appreciated. Lighting/heating in bathroom good!

Mattress, although good and firm, was a bit 'hot' to sleep on. TV picture good, but sound a bit poor. Main room lighting was a bit dim at night. provision of some extra kitchen consumables ie glad wrap, foil, kitchen paper etc. would have been appreciated. Exterior sensor light comes on when trees move in wind or animals set it off, disturbing sleep.

Lighting in main living area . Having to carry our rubbish and recycle bags up to the big bins on the corner .When you have problem joints it wasn't easy on the gravel road

A shorter walk around Halls Gap Zoo. I am 75 yo and suffering abit today.lol

Cosy getaway

Lovely comfortable country getaway. Property was well-equipped, modern and spacious. Highly recommend as a base for exploring Grampians.

Fantastic house , only recently renovated with new kitchen and bathrooms , new carpet etc . Sparkling clean and very comfortable .
