About this house rental

Situated in Ship Bottom, this charming house for $388 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Sleeps 6. Two bedrooms (one full size bed and two sets of bunk beds). Four beach badges are included. No Pets.!! ***Bring your own bed linens and towels.*** Outdoor shower, dishwasher, washer/dyer, gas grill, driveway parking, short walk to beach, restaurants, mini golf and playground. There are pillows, quilts and throws at the house. We supply a Mr. Coffee maker and blender. We have a beach cart for you to use. Sunsets on bay are fabulous and only two blocks away with a playground. Plus a bay beach, lifeguard attended, so bring the badges. Also fishing over at sunset park is close by near (13th street). The owners are local on island. Saturday to Saturday rental during the summer months. (Late June up til Labor Day) Full month rental during off season is available. Contact us directly for further information. No Bikes included, can rent from local shops. No fire pits allowed!

We needed a quick stay somewhere, having started or planning late and having a limited amount of time. Peggy and Ken were very accommodating and we really appreciated it. The place was so cute-modern, clean, really cool decorations, comfortable for a 24 hour turnaround time. We loved sitting outside and we also loved the entire inside of the place. Short walk to the beach and to cool shops. We definitely would want to stay here again!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! It is beautifully decorated as you would expect a beach house to be. Very spacious, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and a cool backyard with string lights and furniture to hang out in! Large grill and outside shower. You can see the entrance to the beach from the house, it only took us maybe 5 minutes to walk to it. The bay was a bit farther down but it's a 30 second drive with available parking. Also walking distance to a few restaurants/food spots. It's not in the most beachy-feeling location due to a huge bank and the police station across the street and very loud construction also across the street that started at 6 AM every morning, but that is no fault of the house owners- we just turned the AC up to drown out the noise. Please note that the main bed is only full size- so my boyfriend and I could not both fit and sleep comfortably in it, he had to sleep in one of the bunk beds which was weird since we were on a romantic trip together yet had to sleep separate. I would definitely recommend upgrading the bed to a queen if possible in the future. It's street parking which we never had an issue with and other than construction, the street is quiet with not a lot of car traffic. We definitely plan on returning in the future and would recommend this house to couples like us!

Ken and Peggy are great hosts, the property is well kept, clean, and close to everything. The second time back and enjoyed ourselves fishing and actually catching some fish this year....you can't go wrong here. The photos are accurate and the bungalow is very nice.

Wish there was a larger bed than a double size. Screen door doesn’t shut well n grill had very little gas left for use.

On short notice, these folks took my reservation. They were even willing to work with my check in / check out schedule, which certainly doesn't fly at standard establishments in the area. The home has everything you could as for in a bungalow escape. Comfortable beds, clean new feel through out, natural light great location, I just wish I had more time to spend there. Thanks for Everything.

We visited “Happy Ours” with our twin 5 year old daughters and had such a wonderful time. The home was the perfect size and layout for what we needed. Location was very close to the bay (which boasts a great playground) and the beach. Our hosts were so kind and very flexible with our schedule and we had such a fanstastic experience all around.

We loved our stay at this property. It is the perfect size for us. It’s a short walking distance to so many of our favorite spots, and of course the beach and the bay! The backyard outdoor space is perfect for relaxing with a cocktail after your walk back from the bay to watch the sunset! The owners are very communicative and answered all my questions right away. We hope to come back again next year!

The house was perfect for a friend reunion of 4 women. Peggy was incredibly communicative and accommodating. The location of the house was perfect. The house is stocked for preparing meals. Fresh, renovated feel. Highly recommend this option if you are looking for a place in Ship Bottom.

We had a small family luncheon for (9) after our daughters wedding ceremony at Barnegat lighthouse. This property was perfect, great open space for social distancing, super comfortable entertaining space and great location. Isuper fun owners! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to kick back and enjoy in Ship Bottom!

What a fantastic property. Deceiving from the outside because it looks small - walking in we were so impressed with the layout and the use of space. Plenty of room for out family of 6. The property is decorated beautifully and we felt like we were staying in the home of a close family member or friend. Location was fantastic and we would love to rent here again in the summer. Wifi was strong, which was great because I had to work a bit. Peggy is also so lovely!

We had the absolute best weekend getaway and can't wait to return! The house is decorated beautifully. The common space is laid out great with open concept feel. We enjoyed walking to the beach and bay park. The Local coffee shop is a short walk away too! Although the house is on a main road, the backyard is set back and we enjoyed our time outside relaxing and felt safe with small children. Peggy was very warm and welcoming! We can't wait to return!

My family had a nice stay here at the end of August. The house is small but clean, nicely decorated and with an open layout that was perfect for my family of four. My kids especially liked that they could each have a top bunk to themselves! The outdoor space is also quite small, but we enjoyed having the outdoor shower and it was great to be walking distance from both the beach and bay. The owners were very responsive, would recommend!
