When we booked it the rooms were different. So we had to reconfigure sleeping arrangements. The house could have been cleaner. It was very close to the beach and we had 2 dogs there also. The pool was nice vit pretty dirty when we arrived. It didn't get cleaned until Friday of our stay. The kitchen was large and easy to cook for a bunch of people. We have stayed oceanfront before but the walk to beach was shorter than from the other houses we stayed at. The beds could have been more comfortable, but overall we were happy. There were plenty of baths so that was great since we had such a big group.

This is a beautiful home and great location. Although, it needed a better clean job. Underneath the couches were filthy, a pillow case was left on the bed, windows and screen doors were so dirty. Doesn't even look like they cleaned the doors. The ceiling fans were full of thick build up. The carpet was dirty. I am aware a deep clean is probably not done Everytime, although it's not hard to quickly wipe base boards that are visible. Sand was still on the couch as soon as we arrived. The window by the refrigerator was leaking after it rained. The floors in the living room and kitchen were caving in. That's an accident waiting to happen. The too porch has a board that needs to be nailed down. I will be contacting and calling the management company. They may not be aware of this. With a deep clean, esp since it's a pet rental, this would be a wonderful place.

The property was represented well but the house was very messy. Looked like the last tenants had kids with sticky fingers. I cleaned the house before we unpacked by wiping down every surface and door. Lots of sticky fingers on doors, glass/windows and table tops. Then again I could just be cleaner than most…

Key Rest was a perfect spot for our getaway with friends. The beach access is just across the street! There were plenty of bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook big meals. We had a low country boil and cooked Easter dinner and everything we needed. The rental company was great and very responsive. The house isn’t in perfect shape, but it is a rental. It fit our needs perfectly.

Key Rest was a perfect spot for our getaway with friends. The beach access is just across the street! There were plenty of bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook big meals. We had a low country boil and cooked Easter dinner and everything we needed. The rental company was great and very responsive. The house isn’t in perfect shape, but it is a rental. It fit our needs perfectly.

34 Years and still going...
The weather was great, the house was the perfect lay out for us. Appeared we were the "first" for the season. Could have been cleaner: dead roaches in the living room and upstairs bedroom. Lot of dust on furniture and floors. But nothing we couldn't clean.
Over all a good stay and most likely we'll be back:)

We were able to get a hold of someone who brought sheets within an hour. However, we then had 8 beds to make up. When linens are included, you expect the beds to be made. The house was also not swept or dusted. There was lots of dog hair around the furniture and the side tables upstairs were very dusty. There was also a champagne cork (we did not have any champagne) under a chair which was discovered as we were cleaning up to leave so obviously the cleaning crew is not doing a thorough job. Also, there was no broom in the house! This is a beach house that is pet friendly! A broom is essential! Especially if you expect your guests to clean up before they leave!! Finally, the yard has LOTS of sand spurs. I realize this is common at the beach but this property has an abnormally large presence throughout the yard. Both kids and adults kept getting stuck by them even though being careful to avoid, the dogs kept getting them stuck in their paws. They were awful and should be treated.
I wouldn't recommend or stay here again.
