About this house rental

Situated in Cudjoe Key, this attractive house for $492 per night is a great option for your next break. Our vacation home in the Lower Keys awaits your arrival! We live here during the winter so our home is available spring - fall. The gated, community of Venture Out has all of the amenities that you could want for a sunny getaway. Lounge by, and swim in the heated pool or salt water canal. Play pool, ping pong, tennis or pickle ball with family and friends. Gather together a group for a game of bocce. Forgot a "good read"? No worries - we have a well-stocked library. There's a playground as well as a kiddie pool for the little ones in the family. Four adult bikes are provided, with miles of bike paths along the Overseas Hwy. It's an easy bike to Mangrove Mamas for bloodies and brunch or to The Square Grouper for a delicious meal & nightly entertainment. Venture Out is located at MM 23 so if the hubbub, nightlife, and shopping of Key West is your pleasure, you will not have far to drive. Our house is maintained, not as a rental, but as our home, since we do live here during the winter. We have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and are situated on a 60' canal. You can park your boat at our 35' seawall for easy access to fishing, boating, and sunset sails. The dock is complete with cleats, bumpers, fish cleaning table and swim ladder. Your boat must fit tip to tip with the motor up within the 35'. You will have access to our store room with a bait freezer and area to keep dive and fishing gear. There are 2 covered decks - one facing the street and one facing the water. There is additional seating under the home facing the canal. On the water front you will have outdoor seating on both the upper and lower decks with a gas grill. Our kitchen is completely stocked with everything you could possibly need for a home cooked meal. There are smart TVs in both bedrooms and the living room. WIFI and landline from which to call the USA, Mexico and Canada is provided free of charge. The home sleeps 6 (maximum allowed per Venture Out rules) with a king bed, queen bed and queen sleeper sofa. We speak French and English. Please no pets or smoking allowed. There is a 3 night minimum stay except during Lobster Season which requires a 7 night minimum. Additional fees: 12.5% tax (5% lodging tax and 7.5% county sales tax), $150 cleaning fee, $75 booking fee, and a non-refundable $45 accidental damage fee. The Venture Out fee, paid at the gate upon arrival, is $125.00 and must be paid by debit or credit card. One vehicle is allowed to park at the home (NO exceptions). There are additional fees for parking an extra car, etc, but there is no guarantee of availability. Our agent has a list of off site parking nearby, for your boat trailer and/or 2nd vehicle. All final reservations will be handled by our on-site agent. Please contact me with any questions you may have. We would like all potential guests to be aware that we are a private and individually owned residential condominium and NOT A RESORT, therefore we ask that all guests treat our community as such. VRBO seems to have verbiage that says we are a resort but this is not accurate.

Absolutely amazing home and spotless! Great location for fishing and snorkeling/diving. VO has nice boat ramps and on-site parking for your trailer. Very quiet neighborhood and everyone was really friendly. We will definitely be going back!

This was our 2nd visit to big blue. A family get together in paradise at a very comfortable, cozy home. Venture out has lots of amenities to enjoy and is close enough to both Key West and Marathon that you can take advantage of the world class fishing available there. Blue boasts a seawall on a deep water canal so you can bring your boat or rent one from nearby marinas to enjoy a day or several on the water. Blue is not just a rental condo, it's a home away from home.

No matter what you do in the keys you have fun the most important thing is to have a clean and comfortable place to lay your head with quality beds. Everything that you need was there. My only suggestion would be 2 twins instead of a queen in the second room because sofa beds are never a comfortable option, we left the cushions on and cover it with a sheet and used it as a twin, i have big teenagers, lol. Shelly was very helpful when we needed her assistance. Hope to stay there again soon.

The house was very clean and very comfortable. And the amenities at the complex are very nice, the pool, the nice tikis overlooking the ocean, tennis courts and the list goes on. Only negatives; the community is a lot of “houses” very close together and it is a bit of a drive to get to Key West.

This was a nice community and was conveniently located with an on-site convenience store that did not price gauge. We rented a golf cart that was delivered right on site. To get out with the boat was very easy.

This property was perfect for us! Three adult couples! We brought our boat, launched it at the Venture Out boat ramp and were able to place in the water at Shelly’s boat dock, literally at our doorstep! Not having to load and unload all of our fishing gear each day and not worrying that someone would bother it was fantastic! Venture Out Community was great! The house / property had everything we could possibly need. The house was clean and felt very welcoming! We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future! Thank you Shelly for allowing s to be in your home!

I can honestly say that this was one of the first vacations I was able to completely relax. The house was exactly as presented in the VRBO listing. Venture Out is a great community with excellent amenities. Only about a half an hour to Key West. Great places to eat just down the street for breakfast lunch and dinner. Can’t say enough good things about this house, the community, and a much needed vacation and rest.
